+ -1 moreVery pleased. The two young men were Tom and Justin. They explained everything because I ask a lot of question. They spend way longer cleaning out our ducts. They were very thorough. Before we called them our house had 40 years of different owner pet hair and dust. I would sweep the bathroom floor and two days later its dusty again, but after I had them come out I only sweep once a week. I was very very pleased and glad I did it.

+ -1 moreWhen I was first looking for a company to clean my air ducts I called Duct Works Environmental. They were booked out for a couple months and highly recommended Air Quality Controllers. I called and they were able to schedule me in 3 weeks time. I had bought my house a year ago and had them done, however the guys explained to me and showed me with photos the other company Never cleaned them. Once I started using my heat the dust was so bad I was getting sick. Since getting them cleaned out the correct way the air is much better. I don't have dust circulating in the air. The air just seems fresher since having my air ducts cleaned. The guys were Great/Friendly. They were on time and Very Professional. They took the time to do the job the right way and No short cuts that I saw. They deserve to use the name Quality in there name, because that is what they are a high Quality company.

+ -1 moreVery well. They were on time and offered to remove shoes if I wanted. Equipment was in good order and clean. They were very efficient and knew just what to do. When they ran into problems, like air vents that could not be removed, they had alternate methods to get the job done. Clearly they had a lot of experience. The two techs were very cordial and pleasant and explained everything well. they cleaned up after themselves and put everything back in its place, including a dresser that had to be moved a bit.
Description of Work: Air ducts cleaned and sanitized throughout the house and they informed me about furnace filter to replace old electronic unit.

Description of Work: I had stopped off at Air Quality Controllers Office and spoken with Don Dorff about what was involved in cleaning our heating system and he explained in detail how they cleaned a heating system and gave me a 'service agreement estimate'. His explanation was very helpful and we called about a week later and made an appointment for 10/5 at ~8:30 am. Note: We have a 2-Furnace Heating System - Hence our costs would be ~ less than double what a single furnace system would be. Our home was built in 1975 and this is the 1st time that the entire heating systems have been cleaned even though we had both of our furnaces & A/C units replaced in 2002. Justin & Tom arrived ~ 10 minutes before our appointment and toured our home to review our heating system and explained everything that they would be doing . I had considered having the Blower units cleaned in each unit but upon inspection Justin showed me that they were not in bad shape and it was not necessary. ( This impressed us!) We had the following services performed on both of our heating systems: Duct Cleaning A/C Coil Cleaning Outside A/C Condenser Cleaning System Sanitizer The entire operation took about 3 1/2 hours and was done in a very professional manner. Justin & Tom vacummed all of the supply & return 'diffuser' grilles as well as any dust or dirt around the openings and on the carpet. They took great care when moving furniture and were very careful of our newly painted walls. We were very impressed with their very high level of service and would recommend Air Quality Controllers to anybody who is considering having their Heating System Cleaned. Steve & Carol

From initial contact by phone with Joe to the completion of work by Justin and Tom, this company was professional, prompt, efficient and exceptional among contractors I have done business with.. Justin and Tom arrived exactly on time (what a concept) and went over what was to be done. Except for the utility room, our house is completely finished which made it more difficult to access the duct work. The technicians went to extraordinary lengths to ensure that all of the duct work was cleaned and sanitized. I was shown the procedure during various stages and Justin explained everything they were doing. All equipment used was self contained with their own motors so nothing would overload any electrical circuits and everything was cleaned prior to them leaving. Except for a cleaner feeling house, there is no indication that they were ever here. It was a pleasure to do business with this company.
Description of Work: Air supply and return ducts cleaned and sanitized in an 1800 sqft bi-level home. Air conditioner coil in furnace cleaned. Replaced our HEPA filter with customer supplied replacement.

+ 0 moreI called on Tuesday and spoke with Don who explained the entire process to me (we had never had this service performed). He provided an estimate (including coupon). They were able to come out two days later, which was great! Tom and Justin arrived a bit earlier than expected and re-explained what they would be doing and how long it would take. They showed me the inside of one vent cover so that I could see how bad the buildup was. They were quick and efficient. They reviewed the air condition coil and showed me the debris that was in it and asked if I would like to get it cleaned (went over the cost and benefits, but were not at all pushy). They completed that service. Cost was as estimated, however, a little bit more with the addition of the air condition coil cleaning. Very polite and professional. Would definitely use them and recommend them in the future if needed.

When I called back to confirm, they scheduled our appointment and the guys showed up right on time. They were friendly and kept me informed of how they would do the cleaning and what each person would be doing. They did an inspection of the furnace before leaving and cleaned up. They left the place looking better than they found it and showed me pictures of the ducts before and after the cleaning.

+ 1 moreI would definitely recommend them. They are very informative. They explained everything to me as to what they were doing, why we didn’t need it and why we would need it. He would give suggestions and he was very helpful. They really helped out. They weren’t the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. I would use their services again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Air Quality Controllers LLC for my heating and air conditioning. I last used their services in January or February. They cleaned all of the air ducts. They also cleaned the air conditioner. They were also hired to do the cleaning of the furnace motor but when they got here, they looked at it and said it was not needed.

I was unable to be at the house at the time of service but they made sure to keep me updated through the entire process from start to finish. Sent along pictures of the beofre and after of the air ducts and even put the new filter for our furnace on for us and removed an old add on part for the furnace that was no longer of use or working. Over all great experience and will recomend them to family and friends.

I noticed they were very detail oriented and explained the procedure prior to beginning as well as giving updates during the appointment. Before and after pictures on their camera was a nice touch. After completion they took the time to clean up any mess and put things back as they found it. Again, very thorough , unrushed service. We payed $335 and received the standard 1800 sq ft package, Angie's list discount and added the microbial treatment. I highly recommend this company!

+ -1 moreIt was a wonderful experience! I knew the air ducts in my recently purchased home had never been cleaned. I have allergies to dust and could tell the quality of the air in this house was poor. I checked out their website prior to calling them, and could tell they had "state of the art" equipment, no shop vacs! The crew was great! They showed up on schedule, and explained everything that they were doing. They were friendly, neat and professional. They showed me before and after pictures of the ductwork. It was amazing! I was unaware of the AC coil and whether it also needed cleaning. They showed me pictures of the AC coil. It looked rusty! In the after pictures everything looked clean. They did an awesome job, and the air quality in my home has noticably improved. I would highly recommend Air Quality Controllers!

My only complaint was that given our home has only one bathroom, I would prefer workman to use public facilities prior to coming to our home to work, especially as the job was less than 2 hours in duration.Of course, nature can call at inopportune moments, but it made me a bit uncomfortable when one of the men asked to use the bathroom and was in there quite a long time.

They took before and after pictures of the ducts, and what a difference! After they finished, I was truely surprised at how clean the ducts looked. + -1 moreThis was a GREAT experience, right from the very first phone call to schedule my appointment. The person that answered the phone was so polite and knowledgeable. They explained in detailed what the process was and what steps their technicians take once they're in the home. He explained that all the technicians were company employees and not contracted out. The two technicians that came out were on time and so professional and nice. They didn't make you feel uncomfortable or that you had to follow them from room to room. They came in and performed their work VERY efficiently. They didn't move slowly or seem to stretch out their time at all. They put everything back together as it was and left all the areas clean. This truly was a great experience with this company and the technicians, please keep up the great work!
