Zimmerman Tile Installers

The job went quickly when started. Subway tile tub surround and planked vinyl flooring. Good attention to detail during the install. This summer was especially hard to line up contractors for a small remodel project. Once Zimmerman was onsite they were timely and job was done well.

On March 14, 2018, Paul Zimmerman of Zimmerman Tile was hired based on a referral from the Tile Shop (Woodbury, MN). Zimmerman was hired to install approximately 200 square feet of porcelain tile on a concrete floor. Following installation, there were obvious flaws in the workmanship including chipped and miss cut tiles, uneven tiles, and incorrectly installed grout. Following completion, Mr. Zimmerman stated that if there were any tiles that did not meet expectations, that he would return and make any necessary repairs. Multiple attempts have been made to contact Mr. Zimmerman, and he has failed to return any calls/texts.

He did a great job with the tiling, however, he never returned to complete the job . I had to wait for an end piece to come in (2 weeks) in order to finish off the edge of a stair. I paid him before it was completed (yes, bad idea), and he never returned to finish the job when the piece came in. Over a 3 week period, I texted 3 times and emailed once with no response as to when he could schedule a time to finish the job.

- Paul is amazing to work with he was there when he said he would be - quality and customer service is excellent! He was efficient and clean up was great. I can't say enough great things about him - He is very experienced and has high craftsmanship and it shows. So easy to work with. We made changes along the way and Paul was very accommodating. He came highly recommended and I can see why.
