+ -1 moreMcCauley Asphalt Contracting has NOT done work in a timely manner. We hired them in June 2019 to blacktop our driveway, extend a parking pad, add a new parking pad, and lower the slope at the end of our driveway. Despite repeated call from us and broken promises from them, they finally arrived in Oct 2019. BUT, they left the final coating of blacktop until “next spring,” of 2020. We accepted their delay because of COVID, and were told they’d be here mid-July. Now, late July, they’ve said it’ll be mid-August. Stay far away! We have already paid over $4800 for an incomplete job. Very angry and frustrated.

Description of Work: McCauley Asphalt Contracting, L.L.C. accepted a down payment for asphalt work on 8/11/2013. The work had not been done by the middle of September 2014, and I cancelled the work both by telephone notice and by email. As of October 29, the money had not arrived. I filed a claim in small claims court.
