Terry came to the rescue again! Recent projects he has handled for us inclide: 1. A deck update. Some boards were in need of replacing 2. A complete bathroom remodel. He took a jack and jill bathroom and turned it into a beautiful handicap accessible bathroom and a powder room. 3. Total roof replacement, code compliant. He even installed a new metal roof. 4. Various electrical projects. Certain outlets needed updating, as well as some wiring issues. 5. Using his connections to reputable tradesman with other skills. Sometimes things work out better than expected... My wonderful wife, Camille, and I were in desperate need of someone who could patch some holes on the ceiling of our front porch. As seniors we were very aware that most people in the construction field were more than happy to provide only basic results at inflated prices. And, that's assuming any typical contractor would even consider our project - simply not enough profits to be worth their time. That really is what we were experiencing with the local contractors. We asked for a recommendation from our local Menard's store and they provided us the name and contact info for Terry Nadosy - owner of Handyman247 LLC. Oh my goodness, that was the best advice we've received in years. We figured if Menards recommended him he certainly was not a fly-by-night storm chaser. Or, someone who was taking advantage of local seniors. We really appreciate Menards for providing his name. But, what we most appreciate is the quality of human being Terry turned out to be. Camille and I are from an era of knowing the value of the "old-school" work ethic, how there was an importance for Great customer service, and where when a person told you they would do something - they would keep their word! Those were good days... When we first contacted Terry I explained the scope of our project. I also explained why having those holes patched was so very important to me to avoid a repeat of what I had experienced a few years before - an invasion of squirrels that would terrorize me by running around in the ceilings inside our house. It honestly drove me nuts! So, Terry understood how important this repair was to us, and he worked us into his busy schedule. He knew it was not going to be a highly profitable project for him - but how Very Important it was to Camille and me. We talked a little about what we needed done and he told me he would be over on Saturday to do a quote. To my surprise and delight he showed up. He looked at the project and said if we'd like he would go ahead and take care of it right then - who does that? So, he spent the next 3 1/2 hours doing the repair. I decided to sit on the porch to talk with him during his work, and it was so refreshing. But, that's a story for another day. Suffice it to say I was able to ascertain that Terry is a Quality Man who genuinely cares about the quality of his work and the satisfaction of his customers. We so appreciate that - and we so appreciate that he was able to help us and not gouge us on the price. My mom could not find someone to connect her gas washer/dryer for her. She asked me to call Terry to see if he could do it. He called me back right away and said he was able to come THAT NIGHT to do it. Terry did a great job, made sure everything worked and the gas line was connected correctly. Boy oh boy we had a complicated situation with our sink. Kept running into issues and Terry made several trips back and forth to our home. He brought our old sink to a mechanic he knew and the guy made our sink like brand new. Terry didn’t have to do this for us but he went over and above. He’s nice and personable and with an extremely busy schedule still got it all done. We would hire him again!! A+++

We phoned Terry last October. He responded to our phone call the same day. Terry was knowledgeable and conscientious in the work he performed for us. The amount he charged us was reasonable.

Terry did another amazing job! He came prepared with everything he thought he would need (as you know when it comes to plumbing, nothing works the way you expect) and made a quick run when he needed something to complete the job. When he was done, he even dry walked the hole for me, which is what he always does...goes above and beyond. My washing machine runs perfectly and I no longer have to worry about old piping. Terry explained what he was doing every step of the way and answered all my questions.

Terry was amazing! Even though he is very busy with other jobs, he knew I needed my water back on and made time to complete my job. He is great at coming up with solutions when the problem doesn’t have a straight forward solution. Terry was extremely easy to work with and was willing to explain, step by step, what he was doing. I had such a positive experience that I hired him to come back this week to fix a couple of other things that I needed done. Came for appointment was very helpful and professional. Made an appointment. Never called to check in. Did not arrive for appointment. When called he had obviously put someone else in my appointment or had other things going on. Said he would call me back for another appointment. Waited for a few weeks, never called. I'm looking for someone else.

We'd gone to Terry on several occasions previously, but now it was time to prep our home to sell. Terry came over to assess the long list of projects we needed accomplished on a fairly tight timeline: sanding and refinishing our red brick fireplace, recaulking a tub, upgrading our garage door, replacing our oven igniter, and a bunch of other little jobs beyond my ability. He mapped out a plan, stayed in touch with me on a regular basis, and committed to getting our list done before we moved out. The guy is Mr. Follow-Through. He worked Saturdays and even Sundays to get the jobs done. I found his prices fair and carefully calculated. Too bad he'll be too far away for us to call after we've moved out of state!

Terry was prompt and efficient. I was impressed with his trouble shooting skills. He was able to quickly identify the source of the leak was a crack in the shower floor grout rather than a drain or supply line leak.

Went well even though some unforeseen circumstances due to the age of the house were encountered. These were not things that the ordinarily prudent person could have anticipated. ADDITIONALLY, I WOULD LIKE TO ADD-- Choosing a Handyman for your real property is analogous to deciding which MD General Practitioner to utilize for overseeing your personal health. Both have to possess (among other things): Peer and Client Respect; Knowledge across several disciplines; Willingness to attack and solve complicated problems; Stamina to follow-through on the diagnosis and see the situation to a satisfactory completion; Integrity; Pride; A high regard for personal reputation; Reasonable fee; et al. The previously mentioned were exhibited by Handyman 247 while recently replacing my 20 plus year old gas hot water heater in a 60 year old house. Additionally, He Found and corrected three (3) gas leaks that I had suspected but hadn't located; Provided pertinent tips on how I could extend the life of the new hot water heater; Used his influence to obtain municipal assistance in locating the city shutoff so that a non- functioning inlet valve, new meter and monitoring device could be replaced ASAP; Stayed with the project well after hours to complete it to minimize my inconvenience (this was most important to me). Naturally, I will use his services in the future should the need arise and I would like to suggest that you consider giving him the right of first bid should you have need. (NOTE: It is my understanding that if your project is something that he isn't able to immediately handle, he will refer you to an associate).

Handyman 247 was very responsive and quick. He did great work and got the job done very quickly. He also made suggestions in case I wanted to add a rain barrel at a later time.

I called and left a message. He called back and said to text my address. Also, that it may be 2 or 3 weeks until he would be able to come out. That was on October 15. I texted back in mid-November to see if he was still planning on doing the job, but he didn't ever reply. I'm still waiting.

Very well prompt and with minimal time to complete tedious repair

Terry has been to our home on multiple occasions. We like him and trust him a great deal. He will be coming again in the spring to fix our roof. He is an extremely honest and helpful handyman. He takes his time and thinks each job through. Terry is very mindful of cost.

Terry came for an estimate the same day I called him. He did the work the next day. He was at it for a little over two hours and did a great job on an old garage door.
