He was outstanding all around. It is great dealing with a guy like Ron who is local. I called him because our garage door openers haven't worked for years, so I had bought some new ones on Amazon, but couldn't get them programmed because the receive code button had been pushed too many times that I broke it. I got ahold of him right away, and although he was very busy that week, he got me in! The first time he came to check things out, he diagnosed the problem right away and called Overhead Door who could order the part. But, it was going to cost just as much as putting in a new system, and system's really only last 20yrs and our was up. So, he said I could go get a new one if I wanted to shop around, but he also could get me one, and knew where the deals were at that day for the two main kinds. He picked me up a Chamberlain on a Thursday and put it in on Friday. He left an invoice, and I mailed him a check. I don't know if he would do that for everyone, but I live in the same small town as he does. Excellent work, great price, and it even included a keyless pad outside on the garage door that I can't even see is there most of the time. It works great! Great guy, great price, great service. I already recommended him to my sister.

I purchased a Craftsman Garage Door opener from Sears. They gave me Ron's card because he had been an installer for them for over 30 years. I phoned Ron and the first thing he did was tell me that they had quoted me the wrong price, the correct price was actually lower than the price they quoted me. Ron then informed me that his approach to business could be understood by imagining one was on the Andy Griffith Show. That was an entirely accurate analogy. Ron arrived on time, and demonstrated the Andy Griffith Show reference almost immediately. Upon looking at the garage door opener I had in place, I explained the problems we had with it and he asked "is that the only reason you're replacing it? Because I can fix that." I assured Ron that the unit was older, louder, and we had decided it was time for an upgrade. Ron did a swift and efficient job installing the opener. Watching him it was obvious that he had done this for decades. The installation went smoothly and before Ron left he placed a sticker of with his information right next to the wall mounted control because he guarantees his work. If there were any questions or problems we were to contact him immediately. That same day I gave his contact information to a client of mine. Ron is a person that not only satisfied this customer but made me want to tell as many people about him as possible.

He definitely runs his own show. He is honest, forthright and professional. He has that small town feel about his service.
