Description of Work: Scope of work: Vacuuming all carpeted areas, dusting, cleaning of fixtures and flooring in bathrooms, cleaning of wood flooring, counter tops, and appliances in kitchen, cleaning wood flooring in the foyer, dusting blinds, and washing patio doors, weather permitting. They do a deeper cleaning with focus on a specific room periodically, including wiping baseboards, and moving furniture when necessary to get at debris. Overall, they do very good work. Sometimes, they could be more thorough on bathroom floor ceramic-tile flooring.

Description of Work: They performed a post move out cleaning at our old apartment. They were prompt, curtious and did a good job. One small thing was that they didn't clean under the fridge but did a good job on everything else.

Description of Work: Cleaned all of my bathrooms, did an excellent job and will hire them again. The only negative comment is that they were late and I thought they forgot about me. Dusted all the cabinets and thoroughly cleaned everything. Next time I will have them do more

Description of Work: This was for total move-out top to bottom detail cleanings. Any errors were addressed quickly and professionally. Would use again.

Description of Work: We used Mother Earth for several months. At first the quality of the cleaning was good but slowly deteriorated. Each time we complained about lights being left on and doors left open as well as things being missed. After a few months we decided to look for a different provider. David is good to deal with and very responsive however, there seems to be a break in communication between him and the workers. Although items on our checklist were marked as complete, they were not. I did appreciate the cleaning reminders he sent which made it easier to remember to leave the key and write the check.

Description of Work: I chose Mother Earth because of the positive reviews here and also they have cleaned my friends house for two years. David came out for a walk through and gave me an estimate. He was very professional and very nice. We have a 2300 square foot house with 3 dogs and two cats. I was hesitant at first since we have had bad experiences in the past with other cleaners, but wanted to give them a shot. Tekla came out with two of her staff for the initial cleaning and really did an excellent job of detailing the house. When they removed the fan over the stove to clean and the panel under the fridge, I was pleasantly surprised. They were here over 4 hours and worked like crazy. I was amazed they got all the dog hair off my rugs which I havent' been able to do even with my Dyson animal vacuum. I am planning on a once a month cleaning with them and hope that their level of service stays as high as it was for this initial visit. The first visit was more expensive because they do everything to get a baseline for future cleanings. For my monthly, it will run around $140 per month depending if I add any extra projects for them. They bring everything they need with them. I also had 7 bags of clothes for Goodwill. Tekla told me they pick a recyle project on a regular basis and this time it was for clothes, like the YWCA collects clothes for women for interviews and this was a great opportunity to pass those old suits on to them. They have collected batteries and lightbulbs in the past from customers as well. I am looking forward to the next time they come out and hope they become a trusted part of my household.

Description of Work: This was an initial cleaning by this company. I was happy with the promptness of their response after my initial phone call. David came out and did a walk-though and then followed up with a detailed written estimate of the cost. While the initial cleaning was expensive, his estimate was what I expected, given that our house is over 3000 square feet. The crew was not able to finish in the time they allotted so they had to come back (which worked out okay for us). The final cleaning was thorough and I was impressed with the details of their cleaning (they actually move furniture, wipe down window sills and move items for dusting). Oh, they also found toys and a lost sock left over from a previous visit from the grandchildren. More proof that they clean under the furniture. I like the options they offer (e-mail reminder prior to schedule with an opportunity to put in any special requests prior to their visit). I also like that they will recycle plastic bags and do try to accommodate a green environment. Bottom line, my house was very clean and it didn't smell like cleaning product. I have booked them for a monthly cleaning and hope they are able to maintain the high standard they set on their first visit.

Description of Work: David & Tekla, the owners, and their staff were great. I hired them over the phone from Florida to clean my parents' apartment in Madison--without much notice. I called the day before my mom was hosting a small event, and they were able to accommodate us. They were very thorough. My mom liked that. My parents are in their mid 70s; they're hard to please and they don't hear terribly well. But we were all very happy with David, Tekla and their staff, and are scheduling them regularly.
