I had Dick's business card as I am a previous customer. I left a message on his answering service about my antenna problem. He called the next day and set a time to come to assess the situation He lives about 25 miles from Watertown. He came on Thursday, 6/5/2014 to check out the trouble. He had other customer calls to work with so his time was limited and he returned again on Saturday, 6/7/2014 to evaluate the amplifier specifically. The amplifier was okay but the circuit board was out of service from the lightening. He came back on Tuesday, 6/10/2014 with a new circuit board and cable to replace some exterior wires that had blown apart from the storm. He moved the amplifier to the basement where it would be protected from the weather and checked condition of all wires as I have jacks in 3 rooms-1 upstairs and 2 downstairs. He added an extra cable from the antenna into my basement using the same entry point/hole as previous but needed to enlarge it as my house is old and made of brick. Finally, he reset the direction of the antenna and checked TV reception to be sure it was as good or better than before. I now get more than 60 channels of over the air reception including PBS TV and I am very happy with his services. One of my TV's has a converter box so it took more time to adjust it properly. He verbally told me what his labor charges were on the first visit and then kept me informed about the cost of the circuit board and supplies including a longer drill bit to cut through the thick basement foundation as the work progressed There are few rooftop TV repairmen in this area as most people have cable TV but he also services satellite dishes and I would recommend him based on my experiences.. .
