Description of Work: Repaired 2 small stone chips in windshield. Excellent customer service in scheduling appt and calling prior to arrival. Technician was polite and did a good job of fixing stone chips. However he did leave a small spot of resin on the hood which wasn't immediately noticed. We called Safelite and they sent another technician within a couple days. The second technician stated that he wasn't sure that the spot on the hood was resin and didn't argue when my husband assured him it was. The technician quickly removed the resin.

The website was wonderfully easy to navigate, I got a really close appointment, and since I decided to have my car serviced at their facility, I was able to get a good idea of what is going on with their waiting area. The service was done exactly as I had scheduled it, the lobby was quiet, and they had big windows overlooking the beltline if you just wanted to sit and zone out. They also had comfortable chairs, a light selection of magazines, free coffee and soda, Wifi, and a television. This is the exact definition of service that a lot of folks miss. Nothing too fancy, just a simple, clean experience with a few amenities to keep people occupied for 120 minutes. Well done Safelite. This submission was created on the wifi in the Safelite Lobby overlooking the Beltline commuters. Lifetime warranty of glass and workmanship at a reasonable price, here I come.

Description of Work: The windshield glass was replaced in a 98 RAV4. I didn't know this ahead of time, but there was rust under the glass which caused the replacement glass not to be warranted against leaks, which may be reasonable, but I wasn't told until the replacement was complete. The disappointing part of the service is that the hood and side of the car were scratched during the installation, which I consider to be unprofessional. Otherwise the repair was as good as expected, given the rust.

+ -1 moreThe side window in my convertible had been broken in a storage room break-in. The car was so full of glass you could not sit it in without hurting yourself or harming the seats. Right from the start, Safelite assured me the technician who replaced the window would vacuum the car thoroughly, which was a great relief as there is no electricity where the car was being stored. Both the time and cost estimates given to me were accurate, and the technician was on time as well as professional and friendly. He checked and re-checked his work. I couldn't be happier!
