Well. windstorm first night ripped a bunch of the brand new roofing shingles off, necessitating re-do when they came to finish No problems

They were very professional and timely. I think you get what you pay for but they were a little higher.

We had Leafguard gutters installed several years earlier but were having trouble with overflow where one gutter drained into another. During heavy rains, the lower gutter would overflow and the water would run under the eave and leak into the house. We contacted Leafguard to reconfigure our downspouts so that the upper gutter wouldn't drain into the lower one. We first contacted them in June and were told that they would fix our gutters when they were in our area next (S. Minneapolis). Leafguard did not stop by until late July/early August and when they did, they said they didn't have the materials with them to fix our downspouts. So they took detailed notes and (once again) said they would be back when they were in our area. By early October they still had not been out to fix our gutters, which is almost four months after contacting them about the problem. We called and mentioned that we would be writing an Angie's list report on them and they were out later that week. The gutters were repaired very nicely and (so far) they haven't charged us anything for the additional downspouts. But the delays and total lack of communication are entirely unacceptable.

I had done research on the company via Angie's List, the Better Business Bureau and with two people we knew who had had the gutters installe, one five years ago and the other ten years ago. Midwest Leaf Guard/ Lindus had an A rating on Angie's List and anA+ rating on the BBB. Both parties that we knew who had had the gutters installed were very satisfied. The salesman came out on the day of our appointment and gave us our estimate. We paid one-third down. The salesman said that the company would call two to three days before they were going to come, which they did. The installation was twelve days after the estimate. The installers were very polite and responsive. They took away the old gutters and cleaned up after themselves.

They were very professional. We opted to not go with the proposal, but were very pleased with the way the handled the estimate.

They are a good company and have a pretty good reputation. They are very nice people, but their bid came in a little bit higher. I would consider contacting them again in the future.

I like them a lot. They do all kinds of construction and not just roofing. They are very professional. They clean up after themselves very well. I highly recommend them.

They were timely and professional. They made very little noise, cleaned up after themselves and were very accommodating to my schedule. I have used them in the past and was very pleased with the services provided and overall time and cost of the projects.

It went fantastic. He showed up on time. It took he as long as he had stated. He cleaned everything up. You wouldn't have know he was there. Very polite and professional.

The entire job went very well. I am very satisfied with the quality of the product installed and work done.

They guys were excellent. They went above and beyond for us. They paid a lot of attention to small details. They were able to do everything we wanted.

The salesman selected colors to match my old system, with dark green gutters and tan downspouts. However, the installers showed up with green downspouts instead of tan. After looking at nearby houses, I decided that green downspouts would be okay, and I didn't want to delay the process. In the end it appears to be the correct choice. The installers explained some of the features of the new system and answered to my satisfaction any questions I had. The installers removed the old gutter system and cleaned up after themselves.

The representative came out and was only on the roof for 10-15 minutes. The 2 other companies that previously came out for estimates were on the roof from 15 minutes to an hour, and both of those companies decided to get an Eagle-View Report because we have a steep pitch, and they wanted to provide us with a better estimate. At 1 point I saw the Lindus rep. measuring the deck on the back of our house, and he provided a quick estimate within 1/2 hour. His estimate was $6,000 plus the cost of the permit over the other 2 companies, then he deducted $2,000 off of his estimate which is suppose to be 50% off for labor. I seriously doubt that labor for this large of job is only $4,000, since labor is usually higher than materials. In the end he still ended up over $4,000 over the other 2 contractors, so we will be going with a higher rated contractor from Angie's List.

Professional bid -timelyand well done. Not interested after I heard price.

They decided that it would be alright leaving it. They told me that the problem was from the ice dams we had had over the winter. I have worked with Lindus at other times and they have just done wonderful work. They have always been here when they said they would be here. They are a company I would put my trust in. My husband died recently and my son didn't know any of the people from Lindus. He thought I should check them out more. That is the reason we went on Angie's List and then called them. My son ended up saying that the man Daryl Frank who came just instilled honesty and gave us confidence that what he was telling us was right. They had replaced all the windows in our house about a year and a half ago. It was a big undertaking because it is an old house. They did fine work. The only trouble is that I have black trim around my windows. Now I have to dust the black off because the dirt shows against the black so much. Daryl came right away that same day. He fit me in between a couple of other appointments. He was going on vacation and he had to get an insulation inspector to come and check it out. Many years ago we had finished off our attic and used that as a third bedroom for our girls. He didn't want to rely just on what he thought had caused the water stain in my bedroom downstairs. After he had the insulation inspector come out, he agreed with him that it had come from the backup from the ice dams we had during the winter. I have also had a couple of really bad rainstorms since then and nothing more has come in where the stain had been on the ceiling. We had the peace of mind knowing that it wouldn't do any good to go and tear everything apart. They had said in order to fix it, if the insulation was wet, they would have to take off the shingles and all the roofing boards and get down to it. We had finished off our attic with knotty pine. They said that the boards that were used were tongue and groove and some of them were 10 inches wide. We wouldn't even be able to buy that kind of lumber now as we did back 60 or 65 years ago. I would have had to tear my finished attic all for nothing. They said they thought it would be alright now. It was just a onetime bad thing that happened with the ice dams. We have never had ice dams like that before. You could tell that the gentleman they sent out to assess the problem instilled confidence and honesty just by the way he talked. He knew what he was talking about and came up with causes and effects. He knew his business. I discovered this mark on the ceiling over the weekend and I called him on Monday morning. He fit me in between a couple of appointments in the afternoon and was here by 2.30. My son who had never dealt with them before told me that he could tell that the guy was honest and knew what he was talking about.

One of the drawbacks of that type of gutter is that they develop a lot of icicles in the winter. The hinge on one of the folding downspouts didn't hold up and one of them fell off and I've got to get that replaced. They were very efficient and they cleaned up after themselves. The gutters themselves have held up really well and they are doing an excellent job of keeping the debris out. The price was pretty fair for the market value. They were not overpriced.

Sales person was business like but felt he needed to promote his company by having us watch a video on Lindus Construction. This made the appt very lengh, we just wanted the cost and time it would take the job done.

We wanted a new roof put up. They seemed very competent and very thorough. I think they are servicing their business very well. They answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. The only reason we didn’t choose them was, they were the highest bid that we received and that we were trying to keep our custom. I am sure they would have done an excellent job; it’s just that we thought we found another contractor who would do the job for less. I don’ think the bid was way over priced; it’s just that even if we could save a $1000 or two, we decided to do that with roughly the same material that you put on the roof and that’s what we did. They were very professional and I felt very confident that they knew what they were talking about and what they were planning to do. They would just say in terms of costs and that was the only reason we didn’t hire them. They were the only people we had, who were non-negotiable about the cost and they were very up front about it. They told us that they believed they do work that was of a really good quality and this was as far as they can go. They were very upfront about it and it was something they told us. The fact that they told us that they were non-negotiable was not something we hold against them. But to say the least, we really did feel that, when we come down to the nuts and bolts of examining each little piece of a closet, we could save a couple of $1000 and get the same work done.

Good sales job but terrible follow-up post job completion. Gutters clogged 2 weeks after installation and sales and Lindus Construction still have not returned my call for help. Yes, I had to clean the gutters again and it is only summer. Buyers remorse and please don't fall for their false advertising.

.They did an excellent work. They have great customer service. When we had a little bit of leak because they were doing repair on the existing roof they came back and took care of it. Their workmanship was excellent. They were very knowledgeable. They were the only company that came out and pointed out other areas of concern and came up with great ideas to meet those concerns. Their clean up was good and I must say that I found few screws and a tore board that they use for roofs to come out. All in all it was fine. Price wise they may be a little higher but I think that the warranty and the quality of the work and their response to issues surpass that. I will use them in the future.

Everything went very well. The installers were respectful and polite, and they cleaned up the area nicely once the job was done.

I had a loose 23' gutter on the rear of my home on a family room addition I had built in 1979. The gutter was partially under a large maple tree in my back yard and frequently needed to be cleaned out due to tree debris build up. I had to clean it out at least twice a year - after the leaves dropped in the fall and the seeds dropped in the summer. I found three contractors from Angies List, including Lindus Construction, who I contacted and received estimates from. All were very responsive and were able to come out within a week to give me an estimate for what I knew was not a very big job by usual gutter standards. All three also had a different type of debris protection system. All three rep's were very understanding and didn't downplay the job just because it was small compared to most others they do. All had some type of discount going at the time - either through Angies List or other another coupon that had been delivered to my home. Lindus offered a 50% discount on labor from a coupon delivered to my home, which was only a $47 reduction, but Rich Kortus, the sales rep, discounted the production fee by $100 due to the small size of the job. He also included a hinged kicker at the bottom of the down spout at no charge. With the discounts their estimate was in the middle of the three estimates I received - approximately $100 more than the lowest, and $300 less than the highest. I liked the LeafGuard product better than the other two due to its one-piece design and less complicated installation. I also have two neighbors who have the same product and have had very good luck with it. I chose Lindus for those reasons. The company was able to schedule installation within two weeks after receiving my deposit, and their installers arrived on time and were very thorough. They were done in no time, and left a clean and clutter free work area when they left. They also reattached a loose piece of aluminum soffet on my home near the gutter at no cost while they were up there. I was very pleased overall with Lindus construction and would not hesitate to call them again when I need work around my home.

Was completed on time and to estimate. Some vinyl siding was broken during the roofing, but was replaced as soon as the spring thaw rolled around without having to remind them.

I did not use them as I got someone else with a lower bid. The price seemed reasonable but I contacted a few others and determined that I had to go with someone else. They were very good. I would have had no problem accepting them but it was just a matter of price.

I liked the guy who came out to give an estimate. He was very professional. He spent quite a bit of time. He asked lot of questions and stuff. I would use their service in the future.
