Blackhawk Garage Door

I have been using Black Hawk for years and they never disappoint! I came home at lunch time to find my garage door had a broken spring and cable. I called them right away, hoping to at least get it fixed by end of day. Nate told me they had a truck in the area and would be over in 15 minutes! I would never use anyone else - they are amazing!

Great service! The cable broke on my garage at work...called mid morning and it was fixed before noon. Very efficient in there work and very professional From the customer service person I talked to and the technicians everything was perfect. Would highly recommend them!

As stated above Brent was on time finished fast and told me the cost BEFORE he finished. We will NEVER use anyone else !!!!!

We saw Blackhawk at the Minneapolis Home & Garden Show. I believe that it was Casey who told me why they are better than other local dealers even though they come from Wisconsin. I called earlier this week and maybe an appointment for 9:00 am Friday morning 3/20/15. No show, no call until 9:45 am. Casey finally called and explained that the gentleman that took the appointment never notified him of the appointment. Casey apologized, said he was sorry. He then proceeded to say that, "Not to make an excuse, buy WE ARE SO BUSY AFTER A MONTH OF DOING SHOWS". Then I got really mad. He just made an excuse. I told him that is how people end up with bad reviews on Angie's List. He didn't seem happy about that. They are "SO BUSY AFTER A MONTH OF DOING SHOWS" they couldn't keep track of an appointment. But nobody else is busy right? My time and plans aren't important? What if I had taken time off of work? Wasted a day of vacation? My time doesn't count? So we made an appointment for next Monday and Casey should have left it at that. Then he said, again "Not to make excuses but WE ARE SO BUSY AFTER A MONTH OF DOING SHOWS". That is an excuse again, after I said don't make excuses. So I called him on it, again. THAT IS THEIR JOB. Make an appointment and keep it. If you screw up don't make an excuse, own up to it. So Casey got mad, but never raised his voice, cancelled the appointment, said I could go use my local contractor, I gave him a couple of prime swear words and hung up. So now I will help them out and not work with them so maybe they won't be "SO BUSY AFTER A MONTH OF DOING SHOWS" . Maybe they can keep your appointment. I might have done business with them if Casey had just said "We screwed up. We lost the appointment. I apologize and will try to make it up to you. Can we reschedule?". Notice that there is no mention of being "SO BUSY AFTER A MONTH OF DOING SHOWS". I recommend that you look elsewhere. By the way, if your apology has the word "but" in it, you are trying to absolve yourself of your own mistake.

My husband was home when the service person arrived, he was very impressed with how helpful the sevice person was. We were expecting to pay quite a bit for repair services and are happy that they were very reasonable with their prices. We will definitely use this company again.

The price was fair, the workmanship and professionalism were fantastic. The only complaint I have is when I talked to the first tech who came out we discussed in detail the fact I wanted them to paint the doors. When I talked to a second person in the office I again reminded them that they were to paint the doors and I would supply the paint. When I received the bid I naturally assumed the painting was included since I had mentioned it twice. It was not. I told them I would go elsewhere. I had requested an estimate at the same time I requested the one from Blackhawk. It came in 50% higher than Blackhawk. I reluctantly went with Blackhawk and their installer was so good that he is the reason I would recommend them.

Casey was on time for the appointment to evaluate our garage door. We decided it was not worth repairing so he explained the different door options. We choose the door we like and set a time for the installation. He called the day before to confirm they would be there the next morning. The installer showed up on time, was very professional and paid attention to detail. He spent the extra time necessary to install the opener properly as it needed some adjustments. The door works and looks great!

Service was provided on time and done well. Will use again.

The rollers make it so quiet that I can't even hear the garage door going up. It was excellentand mdash;he came out and knew the competitor's products and could give me all of the pros and cons. He didn't try to sell me something more expensive, just gives the facts. The more I considered it, the more I thought the higher quality was best, but he was low key and very well informed. He showed up on time for the initial consultation, and once I decided to go ahead, he showed up exactly as planned for the work. He stayed until 8pm to make sure that it was all installed and fine-tuned. He makes sure that the details of the project are handled correctly, because he does the work himself.
