chimney sweep
 + -1 moreThe former sweep retired/sold the business. We had him clean our chimney a few years ago and he was ok. This new gentleman is fantastic, very thorough, very professional. His work was much more than we expected. You could tell he really enjoyed and took pride in his work. Excellent work!
Description of Work: Cleaned and inspected chimney and inspected the stove and stove pipe.

 + -1 moreHad to call repeatedly. When he answered and I told him what we had already done he stated he didn't know if there was much more he could do. I stated I would like a professional to look at the chimney and recommend repair. He said he would think about it and let me know. Really?

 + -1 moreHe was terrible. He burned my carpet. He tried blaming it on my dog. It was a bad experience. He was sweeping off the chimney and he took the gas logs out of the fireplace and one was next to the pilot light and he put it directly on my carpet and I just had new carpet installed the week before and he burned my carpet and he tried blaming it on my dog. You could definitely see that the fibers were singed on my carpet. It was a bad experience with that guy. I don't even think if he was worth the money. I don't think he did that great of a job either.
Description of Work: I used Mr. Chimney.
