We bought a house from a smoker. We hired a separate company for the decontamination and Robert coordinated with them to be able to start the restoration after they were done. He had to paint EVERYTHING: ceilings, walls, closets, trim, doors.... We replaced ~80% of the flooring with tile and he was able to put in a beautiful medallion! He replaced a toilet, fixed other plumbing issues, installed ceiling fans on the patio, cleaned up the yard, changed all the doorknobs, repaired the garage door, replaced the keypad remote.... There were so many things, it is difficult to list them all. The property looks BEAUTIFUL and we plan additional projects for him. We highly recommend Robert to care for your home as if it were his own!

Jacob quickly responded to my request. He came to look at the job that day. From his first visit and throughout the project he kept in touch. They removed the old cedar siding, repaired the framing and installed new cedar siding. Then they replaced the storm door. It was nice to have a team of men come to do the work. Jacob and Mario are courteous and knowledgeable and work well together. My wall and new door look great. I am very pleased with the quality of the work. I am looking forward to having them do more repairs.

Would hire Robert Wright again, in fact I have some other jobs that I plan on having him do in the near future. I had Robert and his son install a storage shed for me that I had planned on doing myself, but I recently had surgery and couldn't do it until next spring. When I called Robert to schedule the job and explained to him that I needed it done in approximately a month he said he would do his best but he had some other jobs already scheduled and would try to work us in. He ended up coming out a few weeks later and completing the job in 1 day instead of 2 days and did a great job.

Robert is professional and very knowledgable. I am so happy to find someone who is dependable actually knows what they are talking about. Seems like there is nothing he can't fix, repair or build. I hit the jackpot when I found him!

Robert did a wonderful job. He was incredibly responsive and was able to complete the job immediately; I only had to wait a few days! I had contacted a few other providers and they didn't see very eager to complete the project. One person actually made me feel as if I was bothering him with my request. Robert was the exact opposite. Very polite, punctual and provided quality work. Oh, and his price was very reasonable. What more could you ask for?

He came in and supported it and replaced the ceiling. He repaired it and sealed the outside so the water wouldn't get in. It was a very good service.

The contractor was methodical in his performance of the work. They covered the area so that dust is controlled and the surrounding floor area are adequately covered. Robert Wright will suggest a better alternative if he finds one available. An example of this is a larger bathroom door in the hallway. This was a welcome suggestion and was properly implemented. He would ensure that there are no leaks in the existing drainage even if it meant delaying work for an extra day. This gave me confidence that they will go the extra mile to provide quality work. The contractor joined us in visiting the vanity supplier and provided useful suggestions that really helped in our decision making process. This contractor is not only reliable, he can be trusted to earn the customer's confidence. My house is an important asset and will not entrust the kind of service they provided to just anyone. The high quality of this service worth mentioning. I would recommend his service to others, in fact they may contact me if they like.

Robert can do a lot more than his Angie's List description would lead you to believe. I was fixing up a vacation property for sale and called Robert. We met and he impressed me with his responsiveness, punctuality and forthrightness. I hired him to fix a couple of things but after I he understood what I wanted he said he could do those things too, made recommendations and I gave him more and more work. What was supposed to be several days worth of work turned into a ten week remodeling project and based upon his recommendations helped the property to sell within days of being put on the market. Robert is not just a handyman he actually can do the work of any contractor I've met and do it better, faster and for less money and without bugging you about everything. In the words of STNG's Jean-Luc Picard just say "Make it so." and he'll do it!

He came out to give us an estimate but said we had to buy the materials. If you're a contractor, you should buy all the materials and bring them with you and that whatever the labor charge is.

I received an immediate response from Robert, he provided input about the work I was considering and seemed very candid about his fee structure. He indicated he would send Dan to perform the work; Dan arrived on time and repaired everything as promised. I really appreciated Dan's attention to details, and once his work was completed he asked me to review what he had done. He made sure I was satisfied with his work before moving to the next task. Overall, an excellent experience, both Robert and Dan were a pleasure to do business with.

I hired Robert based on the positive reviews on Angie's list. But unfortunately, I did not have a positive experience. Two of Robert's guys were at my house for over 10 hours to do some basic things, including the installation of some bathroom faucets and a couple of toilet valves. The very next morning, one of the toilets was "running" continuously. I called Robert, who came back and fixed it. A couple of days later, I noticed that there was no hot water coming out of one of the faucets after you flushed the toilet. I called Robert again and he came back and fixed it. Robert is a really nice guy and the good thing is that he stands by his work, so he will make sure you are eventually satisfied. However, I am sure you can find another handyman service that can get the job done right the first time and probably in less time and at a lower price.

Unfortunately, I did not have the positive experience with Robert that many of the other individuals here have had. I began with Robert in May of this year. He was hired to do small handyman-type tasks (ie, install some short fencing around 2 small planters, replace a mailbox, place wooden barrels in the front yard for flowers, put up a purchased wooden lattice along a wall, etc), unlike some of the larger projects others here have had done. Robert shared with me that he was trying to start a small business to assist with the workload and to do larger projects such as remodels, etc, which were the types of projects that he preferred doing and really enjoyed. I should have taken a cue from that - small tasks such as mine just were not that important and getting him to my house to do them was very difficult. I felt as if I was constantly calling/texting him to give me a date/time to do the tasks, then he would come over on an afternoon for a few hours at a time instead of just scheduling 2-3 full days to complete everything and be done! As time went on, I found that I was going to Home Depot/Lowe?s to obtain the needed lumbar/supplies, the paint/brushes/trays and I began painting the needed trim wood, etc., just to make it easier/faster for him to get the tasks done. Of the 16 items on the list, I began triaging which ones had to be done now and which ones could be put on hold just so I could get the critical items completed, resulting in a much smaller list than what I began with. Unfortunately, despite all this, the 4 most important projects never even got started, despite the fact that I obtained the needed supplies, painted the wood, etc (it?s still sitting in my backyard). After I called/texted him several times in June, Robert responded in July and stated he would give me a date when he would complete the ?critical? projects and we agreed that I would forget the other items on the list. I never heard back from him. Perhaps Robert does better with the projects that are more in line with the business that he was in the process of building, but for true handyman-type items, I was very disappointed and unfortunately cannot in all good conscience recommend him.

Painting went as described above, very clean and professional. Also was able to complete the work on a very short time frame. We purchased a home and had one week prior to moving in. We initially met Robert on a Saturday morning, and he was able to have the work completed by the next Saturday. This was especially impressive considering the Friday was the 4th of July. It should be noted that Robert does not do the tile work himself. He subcontracts it out. That being said, the people he brought in did an amazing job and were very professional. I would certainly choose to use Robert again and can highly recommend him.

Robert and his partner, John, did a great job for my wife and I. They took the time to hang our new front door right, plus went they that extra mile to make sure we were happy. Truly honest and hard working gentlemen. I highly recommend their services.

I purchased the Deal and we made several attempts to schedule a date for work to be done. We spoke on the phone a few times and I explained some of the items I needed help with. He understood but we could not align schedules.

All of the work was done meticulously and completed on-time and on budget. In fact, the work would've been finished even earlier but, when Robert inspected the work, he was able to see the traces of a seam in the new wall. Although the wall had already been painted, he had them clean up the seam, retexture the wall and repaint it. Robert is admittedly "OCD" and willing to do the extras without trying to nickel and dime us to death. We were so happy with his work that we just had Robert out again today to price out some additional work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Robert and his crew.
