Full service construction company. I have regular, trusted list of sub contractors that I work with and most of them have been with me for a long time. Remodeling and additions are my main focus, this is part of the reason I have regular subcontractors, they know me, I know them and everyone knows what is expected. The billing depends on the size and scope of the project, I do collect deposits, but do not process them until the project is started. The purpose of the deposit is to hold your spot in the schedule. I do not offer in house financing. I look forward to helping you with your project.

Services we offer
Design build for residential and commercial projects. Some projects might just involve me, others might have additional subcontractors (electricians, plumbers, masons, excavators etc.) just depends what it is you are looking to have done. I am also Lead Paint Certified, so I can safely work on older homes that may contain lead based paints.
We chose Matt Hurteau as our contractor after seeing his personal kitchen remodel at an open house we attended. We also sought out the opinion of the owner of a residence in our neighborhood who had used Matt for an extensive, complicated project. We found Matt to be a highly skilled, ethical, and efficient choice, perhaps the best we have ever worked with. Our project was completed during June, July, and August of 2013. There were times when Matt worked 12 hour days to make sure that we were inconvenienced as little as possible. Matt arranged for everything necessary to complete the project, including building permits, vendors, and sub-contractors. His intelligence and extensive construction experience became apparent when, as with any project, unforeseen problems arose. His attention to details was remarkable. The original estimate was accurate and, we feel, reasonable considering the extensive project. After using our ?new? kitchen for more than 6 months, we are totally satisfied.
Description of Work: We have lived in our 1926-built house since 1988. This was a complete kitchen tear out and redo, including new windows. Overall footprint was not changed with apliances and windows were in the same places, but counter space was increased and improved. A bar-height peninsula was added with space for two stools. Prior to the remodeling, there was no eating spot in the kitchen. It felt important that the feel of the new kitchen would be true to the age of the house. Matt facilitated this in many different ways. He demonstrated a true appreciation for old houses and traditional construction methods and this was balanced by attention to getting the job done in an efficient (and reasonably cost effective) manner using materials readily available. Matt did the tear-out (really a mess but he tried to limit the spread of the dust), rough-in for the new walls, ceiling & floor; he installed the new windows and the new cabinets. He completed all of the painting. He arranged for the plumbing, electrical, flooring and plastering work, and we were pleased with the firms that he recommended.
