He promptly returned my call and soon after came to my house to see my staircase. Within a week he had an estimate ready and an explanation of the work to be done. At that time I mentioned I had seen the tiling work he had done thru pictures on his website and I was interested in having him tile my shower. He looked at my shower and we discussed tiles. He contacted me a few days later to arrange a time for him to come show me the tiles. In the mean time something came up personally and I had to back out of tiling the shower. I contacted Phil with that news as soon as I knew it. I said I still wanted his work on the staircase however. He said he was booked until the 3rd week of June. I agreed that we would proceed with the work the 4th week of June. I called him then but it took him several days to return my call. When he did return my call he was not able to schedule any time to come over due to scheduling conflicts with another provider. This went on two more weeks. I called him again and at that time he told me he could not do the work I needed due to injury. He did recommend two other carpenters who could complete the job.
