+ -1 morethe job was done in October of 2013, right after I called to report that 90 percent of the straw and seed had blown away during a wind storm etc. I waited till the spring of 2014 May and filed a complaint that the lawn was coming in with 90% weeds they responded that because I did not pay the bill within 30 days back in October that the warratnty was void , b******** the lawn looks like crap and I do not recommend these people
Description of Work: I paid to have a new lawn installed remove the old lawn install dirt and re seed a new lawn

+ -1 moreI got a quote from D L Schalz Lawn and Nursery about a year ago. They quoted me $2500.00. I had very small interaction with them so my input is not that valuable. I got a quote on paper, it seemed prompt and professional, that's my only impression.
Description of Work: The quote was for landscaping around the outside of the house.

+ -1 moreI thought it is pretty nice. Their overall price is a little higher than most landscaping companies are. Their responsiveness is pretty good. They are always on time. They are very professional. The only thing that would make me ever not want to use their services would maybe the price.
Description of Work: I used D L Schmalz Lawn & Nursery for landscaping services. We purchased some trees from them. All the trees did well except for one and it was a bigger tree. As it was not doing well I asked them to come out and take a look at it. Because it was not going well, they replaced it free of charge.
