Description of Work: Painted nearly every room in the home, installed hardwood flooring, replaced bathroom vanities, installed new light fixtures, opened a wall between kitchen and living room to make more open-concept, removed old kitchen cabinets.

Description of Work: We had mice living in the walls of our house. After almost a year of treatment, Orkin recommended that we have someone remove the siding from the house, repair the inside of the walls, and fix the siding so the mice couldn't get under it. I called 5-10 different contractors, and Meiers Builders really stood out from the rest. We knew that the mice were coming in under the siding. Meiers visited our house and recommended that we remove the lowest strip of siding all the way around the house. They then added a strip of hardwood around the house and capped it with aluminum (so the mice couldn't chew through it) and replaced the siding. In the area where the mice had come in, they traced the mouse tracks as far as they had gone, replacing materials as needed, and finished that area with the same hardwood/aluminum cap. We were really impressed with Meiers Builders' solution to our problem- they really stood out as being the most knowledgeable and thorough. We wanted to fix this issue permanently, and their perspective/approach matched that. Scheduling the work took awhile due to their other projects, but this was the only downside. We were very pleased with their approach and the work that was done. I'd hire them again, and recommend them to others.
