BLIND LADY CUSTOM BLINDS

From the first phone call with Jane, I was hooked on working with her. Jane worked within my budget (even though I originally didn't know what my budget was), paired down my options and gave expert advise on what would work best. The installation took place in December and January during some of the coldest days of the year and one of the items was cracked (I'm assuming due to the cold weather) and they sent it back the very same day and the manufacturer turned it in one day. Installation of all 8 window treatments was efficient and tidy with precise attention to detail. My husband is extremely picky and tends to be a perfectionist and he was THRILLED with the installation. Jane was completely hands on, ensuring that everything was perfect by informing me when the order was placed, scheduling installation within the week the items were delivered to her warehouse, stopping by during installation (on multiple days mind you) and following up. Jane knows her product and competition because she has been in the business for many years and she's a savvy business woman. I highly recommend Jane and her team, they were outstanding.

Wonderful! The Blind Lady was great to work with, the products are top quality and the customer service was excellent! Install was a breeze! I especially liked the temporary shades supplied to me while the ordered product was awaited!

Here's the problem. I was very specific that I wanted a blind that block out the entire window and he came and measured it and everything like that and there's still on either side of it, there's still light kinda coming in and if she did measured out a little bit more it might have actually blocked some of that light out. But I thought we agreed specific on that so that [04:01]. The blinds were really nice the problem is they just don't go all the way to the windows.

Following the initial installation of the blind we discovered that the locking mechanism of the blind was defective. Jane was diligent in first replacing the locking mechanism (replacement appeared to be defective also) and then replaced the blind with a totally new blind. Jane made 4 visits to my home to address my concerns and make sure that I had a blind that worked perfectly. She didn't hesitate to work with Hunter Douglas in making sure that I had a flawlessly functioning blind and I was a satisfied customer.

While we were in contract for our house we hired Jane (The Blind Lady) to measure and install our window dressings. Jane arrived on time with all of her samples etc. She took her time and helped us decide on colors and the best type of window coverings in all rooms. We were tired from the flight out from New Jersey to Wisconsin. I was not in a sort of mood to pick out blinds etc. My wife is not the best decorator either. Without Jane, I do not know how this whole process would turn out. She did an outstanding job and both of us are so happy with our shades etc. Jane is very professional and knows her job from top to bottom. Jane charges a travel fee. Hunter Douglas has some very high prices on some of their product so make sure to check price before signing any contract. I should give Hunter Douglas a D for price but I do not want the mark to effect Jane. I was taken back by the price to cover a small window.

I bought my blinds over 15 years ago from The Blind Lady. She has been wonderful to work with. I still love my blinds. A few weeks ago after years of daily use, a string broke in the blind. I contacted Jane,The Blind Lady, no problem. The blinds were sent in to the manufacturer, Hunter Douglas. A couple weeks later the blinds were delivered to my door. They look like new. No Charge!!!

I was so hesitant to call at first because I wasn't sure of the direction I wanted to go ... I'm so happy that I did!! Jane was able to help me find my focus and presented me with several possibilities -- she was really able to, as I say, "pick my brain"!! Since I wanted the curtains to be a focal piece in the room, she was intent on designing the perfect ensemble! She is extremely knowledgeable on the best installation styles, her wide selection of fabrics and the numerous styles of blinds and shades!! From start to finish, Jane was outstanding with her communication, professionalism and quality of product! She kept me informed as to the status of my order from submission to a slight delay, and finally arrival and installation. I am extremely thrilled with my latest purchase with the Blind Lady. I am a repeat customer of hers .... I have done over a dozen rooms in my house using her expertise in blinds and custom drapery. If you are looking for superior quality, Jane at the Blind Lady is a sure bet!!
