Very polite and efficient and answered all questions. Sprayed railings and showed me exactly where to spray next time. In house for just over a year and old garage door opener was so noisy was driving me crazy. New garage door opener is so quiet, just love it. So nice to have a keypad. He left no mess.

American Overhead Door did a tremendous job. Working with Matt to get it scheduled was a good experience, too. And Tony, who did the install, he did a fantastic job on the garage doors. I would highly recommend.

Everyone at American Overhead Door was very professional and nice. The technician noticed that the original seal he installed wasn't going to work perfectly because we have a dip in our garage floor, so he said the company would come back with a thicker seal. They came back a couple days later and installed that for no additional charge and it works great.

My garage door spring broke on Wednesday afternoon, I called American Overhead and had an appointment for replacement for 8am-10am the next day! Repair man called 15 minutes before arrival and was on time. Work was fast, efficient and professional. He was in and out in no time and garage door is working better than before. Very impressed with fast service and will continue to use in the future. Highly recommend!

Expensive way to have door lubricated and told we need a new one anyway.

I would have given them straight A's but they installed mismatched doors and had to come back and re-do the job. I will say they were very professional in their response to the problem!

My wife and I teamed up to wreck our garage door. It was 22 years old so it had to go pretty soon anyway. However this happened at 1:30 pm and we were leaving town early the next morning! Quick, look in Angie's List! I found American Overhead Door with a great rating and a 5% discount coupon. I called the office and explained my problem at 1:39 pm. He called me back to confirm stock and the availability of a serviceman. The serviceman called me 33 minutes later to tell me that the new door was on his truck and he was on his way! When he arrived 15 minutes later, he discovered that I had ordered the wrong sized door. Matt was very gracious about my error. He called the warehouse to check on stock for the correct door. He was back in my driveway 35 minutes later, without any complaint. Very professional. 90 minutes later, he was completely done and everything was cleaned up and put away. Matt asked me to inspect the job and presented me with the bill. He took the Angie's List 5% discount off the price and the total turned out to be $10.00 less than the original quote for the smaller door. The 5% was more than enough to cover the $50 price difference. No extra charge for the extra trip, either. From the first phone call until Matt was leaving my house was less than three hours! Will I call them again? You bet!

When one of our garage door openers stopped working, and another had its cables break, we called American Overhead Door for help. They were able to have someone come out the very next day. In just a couple of hours, one door opener was replaced, the other door had it's cables fixed, and both doors were checked over to ensure they were functioning properly. All this was done when the temperature was about zero. Quick service - work done right - and decent price.

I called on a Monday and the rep came out that day with a brochure and quote. They came in several hundred dollars less than another local company. They came the next day and installed everything within 2 1/2 hours. The door is a much better quality than we had previously and looks great. Matt was very professional and he also looked at the 3rd car opener and adjusted that at no cost. I would definitely recommend them.

My garage door would not open with the garage door opener. They lubricated everything and it worked fine. A couple days later it wasn't working again and they came right back out and replaced the gears in the motor. I wasn't charged another service call charge, just parts. Would recommend them to others.

Sent messages to 3 different providers in the area for replacement of the spring/coil for a garage door. 1 provider quickly called today (which is the morning after the messages were sent out to providers). I still have not received any feedback that they were interested in the business, too busy for the business or any type of contact. First provider was able to take care of our garage door first thing this morning, and was there a few minutes prior to time he said he'd be there - did a professional job and had be on my way quickly. Still no response from American Overhead Door

It worked out great, and it works like new. They came right away and it did not take long for them to fix it. He had to come back out for the weather strip and did not charge me for the trip cost.

This past summer the landscapers noticed a whole in the dirt surrounding the house. They went up on the roof and said the gutters were clogged and the overflow is causing the hole. I contacted American Overhead Door and they sent a crew out who investigated the gutters. They decided that the protection system was not working and suggested removing the inserts. I never heard anything again so contacted the owner of American Overhead Door who asked me to fax him the original contract and paperwork, which I did. He now is refusing to take my calls.
