The dock installation is satisfactory. One boat lift was damaged during installation and the other lift was not usable because they did not secure all four legs. We waited two weeks for them to return. They stabilized the legs on one lift - first accusing us of causing the problem but then admitting it was their error in installation. They were unable to repair the damaged lift and uncertain of a return date so we contacted another dock services provider and repaired the lift ourselves. Shannon was pleasant but her husband made some angry accusations to us that made the whole process very uncomfortable. In the end they charged us nothing. However, we lost 3 weekends of boating, including Mother's Day weekend with our family.
Description of Work: Lake Help was hired to put our dock and 2 boat lifts in the lake this spring.

Response from Lake Help LLC
The dock and lift installation was completed on time. There was a small bend in one of the canopy crossmembers that did not cause a problem with the use of the lift. We were in the middle of our installation season and said we would come out to do the repair as soon as things slowed down in a couple weeks. The lift functioned perfectly, but the customer decided not to use it until it was fixed. We feel we offered a very fair solution by not charging them for the install and coming out to fix the slightly damaged cross member as soon as we slowed down so we did not cause any other customers to be delayed. The customer agreed to this but then hired someone else to do the work in the following 2 days without contacting us. As far as the "angry accusations" go, all that was said is we typically do not re-level lifts for no charge because they can sink in the muck and we are not able to help when this happens. We do our best to get them stabilized before we leave and if a customer has their boat available, we gladly wait until it is installed to see if this happens. They did not have it available so after they said everything looked good, we left. When we checked the lift, we found that it was our error because one of the pins in the leg was not installed through the correct hole and immediately fixed it, apologizing and admitting it was our error. We understand there are times when customers can't be satisfied no matter how much you try, and believe we did and promised to do everything we could. We are unable to stop everything in the middle of a very short dock installation season to repair a minor problem and the customer did agree we could come back when we slowed down. We believe based on what we did to resolve the problem the review is unfair. Thank you to our hundreds of satisfied customers for a wonderful and understanding dock installation season. See you all next year!
