Custom Painting

Description of Work: I had the whole inside of my house painted.

Description of Work: Power washed, my vacation home and deck, then applied 2 coats of solid color stain. Also painted walls and ceiling of a bedroom. Ceiling was textured. Very easy to work with. Good communication with me before and after the job. Very accommodating. Uses quality paint. Offers good suggestions. His workmanship is excellent and his attention to details is exceptional.

Description of Work: We needed to have our lake home's exterior painted,and also the garage on the property. Since we don't live in the area, we were unsure of how to proceed. My husband found Custom Painting online and called for an estimate. The owner, Bob, went out to the cottage and then called with ideas on how to go forward. We met with him later at the property when we were going to be up there anyhow. He was VERY accommodating and even took a phone call(panicked about color I chose for a door) during a big Packers game. Wow!(sorry Bob) He made some wonderful suggestions for accent painting areas on the house I would never have thought of. He called with updates and was so personable. He is the kind of guy people used to get in the "good old days" when quality and character mattered. When I contracted with him I totally forgot to mention two posts in the yard that should match the cottage. Bob said he would just throw those in which he did with no additional cost. THEN he asked about the boat house doors which I had figured by now we could do ourselves in the spring. He said he would include those and then not only painted the doors, but also the eaves of the boathouse.(again no cost added) Bob is just the nicest guy with that old-fashioned sense of integrity. Our cottage is on the Chain of Lakes in Waupaca, but Bob travels all around the state and then some. I would HIGHLY recommend Custom Painting. The cottage looks better than ever before! Oh and his estimate came in lots lower than college pro painters(and they wouldn't have done as much).
