The “technician”, Danny C., turned on furnace. I was elated. I haven’t felt heat in years. But all of a sudden he shuts it down. He then said I couldn’t have heat in my house unless I purchased a new heater from them. He pressured me into signing and paying $125 for doing nothing. I signed under duress. I am disabled and could not handle the stress and pressure. His associate showed up and said I needed to pay $7,000+ to turn on the heat. They were merciless. Didn’t care of my situation. I nearly cried. SHAMEFUL! They do not care about you—only about money and profit. Never calling them again! I will never recommend them either.

They held a contest in the middle of winter to find the oldest furnace. I had no idea they were going to take my furnace apart. The contest was only for gas furnaces. What they did to my furnace is not normally a free service, but they did it for free...using a contest as a front. I am a disabled veteran and they turned off my heat source in the freezing winter. My heater was checked 3 years earlier and it was fine. I have carbon monoxide detectors in my house. I reported them to Washington State Attorney General and this is on file and can be read. The WAG can not force them to work with me and they blew me off with a response letter trying to divert the blame in my direction. I also reported them to the BBB and this is also on file and can be read. I found 2 other complaints at the BBB against this company on file. I believe this is a horrible company and I believe they use manipulative speech and tactics.

Terrible company. Don’t sign up for maintenance plan. In my experience it’s a scam they don’t come back .

I watched the fella tinker around for 10-15 minutes. Nothing was working. He then started putting it back together as he knew it was complete. Flipped the switch and everything worked. I asked him if that's all I had to do and he said "well I did some maintenance too ". Yea right!. That was unfortunate but the real issue wasn't that. It was that he was at my house before 4:00 pm and charges me overtime wages because it was a busy day in winter. Completely ridiculous. Nearly $300 to flip a switch and one year later i had to have it fixed correctly by another company and for a 1/3 of the price.

The crew at Vance was Professional, intelligent and courteous! They installed our new heating and air conditioning system very Quickly in a clean and efficient work site with very little impact to our home environment! We couldn't be happier with the service that they provided. I would recommend their business to all of my family and friends!!!

Zane and Mike were very professional, gave a good presentation, were timely with good communication, and their crews did nice work. The price was competitive and because of their experience with the manufacturer they were able to offer a longer warranty than the competition. I was impressed and the product they installed; it is saving us 140 a month during these cold winter months. One thing that Zane did that was above his duty was to fill out and fax the energy rebate to Pacific Power. Thank you Vance Heating and Air conditioning!

Went very well.. He tested refrigerant levels, plugged some leaks and pointed out ice levels and the cause. Technician explained what I was doing wrong and what was necessary to keep air conditioner working more effectively.

I would use them again.

Excellent- They were fast and efficient. They removed old furnace and heat pum, installed new pad for heat pump, and removed all parts. They left our place in a pristine condition. We were very pleased.

They were really good. The old heat pump had caused the fire in our house. They came in here, got a new heat pump set up, and we had them put it on the other side of the house as it was so noisy. They did that without any problem. They redid the whole thing and made it work. Every time we need a filter we have to go them, because ours is such a big filter about 4 or 5 inches thick. We get in only from them.

I was thoughly dissappointed that it required my attention, since the specific reason for a service contract was to insure my wife's peace of mind whan I am away on business. They've missed tune-ups and renewals on a timely basis. It required more attention than it is worth.

I had bought one from a retail store, it wasn't what I needed. The tech had told one of my folks (who was at the house while I worked), that they thought their was about such and such a price. What they thought it was and what it actually was, about about $275 difference. This was not shared until after it was installed. Henceforth, I will not use them again. I found it to be very shifty and would not recommend them to others. I just used them because they were out in Terrace Heights where I live and I wanted to support my local area. So, my bill was way more than I anticipated it would be. Not real happy about that, but, as it was already installed, what do you do? Uninstall it?

The installation went flawlessly. They explained all the options available and the price. They installed the furnace on time exactly as promised when promised. The techs were polite, professional and fast. When they had finisahed you couldn't tell they had been there except that I now had a new furnace. They then spent what ever time with me explaining how to use the thermostate and other controlls.
