Great service! They worked extremely hard removing our old furnace and installing the new one. They also worked closely with the electricians, installing our new central air conditioner. The air conditioning system works great! They will return to finish the furnace after the gas company does their part. I would definitely recommend Platte. Wonderful people!

Came home to a cold house the normal heating/AC company I use couldn't come out for a service call. Platte was about the 4th company I called that could come out to my home. Tech guy was nice enough although it took him 20 minutes of trying to install my thermostat to realize he needed his glasses. Done in under an hour. They carried 3 different type of thermostats with them ranging in price from $125-$300.00, I choose the non programable bare bones cheapest one they carried. Went to pay with credit card and technition forgot his equipment wasn't able to pay that day. Later that day I looked up my thermostat/s on line to find my bare bones non programable Honeywell can be purchased for $20.00. I decided lesson learned and will pay the bill but decided to speak to the office gal about the 125% mark up!, when I'm sure they can get them at cost. The office gal was not professional or customer friendly at all. I tried asking her about their company policies and brought to her attention the steep mark up price of a thermostat, I expect to pay somewhat over their cost for product. She kept interuping me and was rude. I told her now I'm mad with the way your speaking to me not good customer service. I asked her if i could bring the thermostat back, that was not an option. I feel like this company is not very consumer friendly. What is a customer suppose to do? Can you wait here while I run to Home Depot and buy a thermost. Or can you come back later after I've gone and bought my own? It's the middle of winter and I need heat so my pipes don't freeze. So now I'm educated and lesson learned. I think this company is gouging the customer and I'm assuming its probably a pretty standard service they perform. Office gal horrible, non professional, rude customer service skills. Will never use this company again.

Platte installed our central air & heat system about 10 years ago. Did a good job then so when AC quit working called and they had a repairman out within a couple hours . Fixed unit and at a very reasonable price. The repairman was very courteous. Highly recommend.

I gave me really good advice. They really know what they were doing. So I would use them again when it comes to cleaning. They were very efficient and knew what the problem really was. They haven’t given me a quote in price. They were excellent in comes to responsiveness.
