We have been in the house for 5 years - never used the wood stove - we pulled paper and misc stuff out of it and called Old Time Chimney Sweeps to check it out and clean the pipes/chimney. They came in and did a great job of cleaning the chimney/stove. They called in a timely manner to let us know they would be a little late; they arrived and took measures to protect the room from soot and from their footprints. They were friendly, polite, respectful, nonjudgmental, quick, efficient, and thorough. The wood stove is working great! We are thankful!

Mike always comes when he says he will and does an excellent job of cleaning the stove as well as the chimney including an inspection of the masonry, inside and out, from the top to the ground. When he's done, the stove insert is correctly re-installed and he has cleaned the area thoroughly. We have had zero trouble with our stove system over the last 20 years. I recommend him highly.

He refused to remove the ashes from our premises and left them in plastic bags by the side of our driveway. The bags were too heavy for us to lift so we had to have our adult son come to get them and take them to a landfill. We were in the process if changing from wood burning fireplace to propane insert. The installer for the insert discovered that the clean out area had not been cleaned.
