Joe responded almost immediately to my request for a bid. We'd got two others but one was too expensive and the other was too sketchy. Joe said his crew would be out later that week and they showed up right on time. It took them two days to do the cutting and most of the hauling, but Joe suggested we wait two weeks before grinding the stumps due to their extreme moisture content (one of the stumps looked like a water fountain). During the next few days Joe's crew got all of the wood removed and,. two weeks to the day after the trees fell, Joe himself showed up to grind the stumps. This project went very smoothly. Joe is very pleasant to work with and he's full of good ideas. I highly recommend Joe's Yard Service; in fact I've already talked to him about coming back next spring.

We had a large (53 in diameter trunk) willow tree between two houses that was 30+ years old and had a split trunk. Joe removed it, cleaned up everything. The job was done on time and as agreed. No problems, no drama,

Eight months ago I purchased the duplex I was living in. It was a great buy and was built in 2005 but unfortunately the builder/owner had not completed the landscaping in the back of the property. The landscaping in the front of the property also needed to be redone. The property is .3 acres with a 3000 sq foot duplex. I want to start off by saying that finding an affordable landscaper in the Ellensburg or Yakima area is a huge challenge. I received bids from four different landscapers. Some wanted to $15,000 just to do install a sprinkler system and put in grass. Joe was the the only person to come in with a reasonable bid to do the work. He started by replacing the bark in the two front islands and a dead tree. He then put paver stones in to border the driveways in the front. While prepping the ground for the sprinkler and grass, we discussed four large trees in the back. They were flowering trees and made a huge mess in the spring and the fall when the pedals fell. I had him bring in a tree service and remove those trees. Joe brought in approximately 4 yards of fill dirt to level the ground. The sprinkler system he installed has exceeded expectation. He installed a 6 station Hunter sprinkler system which has worked extremely well. He also set up a station for the front of the house with mini sprayers to water the trees and shrubs in the front of the house. The grass he laid has taken some time to work the weeds out of but he has come back to weed and feed and its starting to look very good. I gave Joe a very extended time frame to complete the project since he is located in Yakima and my property is in Ellensburg. Just make sure to specify the timeline you need the work done in so he can build a schedule and can coordinate his crew. All in all...I am very satisfied with the work and would strongly recommend hiring Joe and his team.

Joe has cleaned up my yard beautifully. He suggested adding low voltage LCD lighting, which came out beautifully. He repairs sprinklers, fertilizes the lawn and pulls all weeds for one price per week. Blowing out sprinkler systems is included. He also built a beautiful raised bed for me with a block wall. It is on a slight hill, so considerable digging was involved. Joe and his family do a great job for me. This is the first year I've used a yard service. I recommend his company highly. Joe also offers a discount on replacement plants for any that fail, even if they were not planted by him. He assisted with putting new latches on my gates so my dogs don't escape. He has a good all-round maintenance service.

Efficient, skilled tree cutting and removal. He arrived on time and worked hard. Nice guy and courteous, but he could improve his communication in follow up and letting me know what is happening with his scheduling.

Joe was absolutely wonderful. His price was very reasonable and his professionalism was beyond reproach. There was a lot of work to be done in our yard and he performed as promised. He offered great ideas as to what the landscaping should be and after he was finished, the yard is beautiful. We ended up having an incident that wasn't in the original contract and he fixed the problem without hesitation. He even hauled away some material so we would not have to bother with it. In today's society, often time businesses will do only what is contracted and nothing more. Joe went above and beyond what was expected and we are very, very happy with the results. We would highly recommend Joe's Yard Service to anyone who wants someone who really cares for his customers and meets the highest of standards in his finished product. If I could give his services an A+, I would!!

Very friendly and professional. I thought the price was reasonable for the amount of work and the job was well done. Joe had to make several trips from Yakima to Ellensburg to cart away all the wood. I highly recommend him.

Joe and his climber were on time and started right away. They took the tree down very quickly and sawed up and hauled all the limbs away within 3 1/2 hours. They didn't cause any damage...I was worried as my yard is small, about 35 x 70, and the tree was surrounded by power lines, the neighbors' fences and my house. I do wish they would have raked up the smaller debris that came down with the tree. Just a side note - stump removal is an extra fee, but they did cut the stump nice and low to the ground. Also, he was willing to negotiate the price.

Excellent result, thorough clean-up. Very cordial and professional. They followed up with a quality control assurance call if I remember correctly.

Since it was a Sunday, I expected to have to wait until Monday, still, I called a number of services, either no answer or voice mail. Acting on this list, I called Joe. He was here in 30 minutes. The limb was gone within 4 hours. Too much to haul away at one time so he came out next day and finished up. Overall did a great job and really great prices.

I did not hire this company. their prices were high.

We met Joe while he was working on another tree in our neighborhood. We stopped and got a card from him. He came that day to give us an estimate. He returned the following day to remove our tree and worked quickly, cheerfully and efficiently. He even saved some of the branches for me at my request. At the end of the first job I asked him to look at a tree we were considering having taken out in the back and he gave us such an amazing deal we couldn't pass it up. He did the work a couple of days later and did the same great job. We would use him again in a heart beat.
