CEDAR ROOF SPECIALISTS

Two workers came on the day and time that we agreed on. Set up equipment and washed down entire roof. Then went over roof to repair and replace any shingles that needed it done. Any staples that were exposed were either removed and replaced. After roof dried they sprayed on a mixture of watersealant, wood preservative, wood conditioner, fungicide and cedar toner. The whole job was completed in 3.5 hours. I felt that the job was overpriced for time spent. (my opinion)

Not a good experience at all, very unprofessional!!! Cedar Roof Specialist came out to give me an estimate on my roof, they said it was in good shape and just needed to replace some shingles and seal it. About a month having this done and over $3,000 later the roof leaked and shingles were falling off. I called to let them know, however, its only an answering machine telling you to leave your name and someone will get back to you. Nobody ever called me back after numerous phone calls. Now several months and $3,000 later we have several tarps on the roof and still no one will contact me!!! Unacceptable and insufficient work and customer service for what we paid. I'm very unhappy with their work. If I needed a new roof I wish they would have told me so I could have put the $3K toward a new roof. For the last 7 mo there has been a tarp on our roof to prevent further damage. The snow and rain has been coming in through the windows and down the walls. Still no response or action has been taken on their part.

They started the job on time. Then there was an approximate two week delay. No notice from the company. I had to call them to find out the owner (who was doing the work) fell off a roof (not mine thankfully) and was unable to finish the job. It was gauranteed up front to be able to pass inspection when sthe house sold. It didn't come close. They offered to refund the money but only a partial refund was obtained. I had to re-roof the house to pass inspection. I recommend that you do not hire them.

They were terrible in returning phone calls on time. When they were coming to do the work a man called that could hardly speak English. He asked how to get to our house without even introducing himself. Naturally my wife asked who he was and he told us. We said OK write this down. He said that he couldn't do that as he didn't understand. Impossible to be a legal citizen if you can not read and write English. We tried to reach the owners to no avail. When they did call us back they had every excuse in the world.
