Action Rooter Service

Call for drain clearing of bathroom toilet. (after hours) Informed serviceman that the system was on septic. He went outside asking where the septic tank was. He said he need to uncover it he thought it was full. I told him it had been pumped a year or tow ago. I asked why he doesn't just pull the toilet and run the snake down the line. Didn't want to do that. He finally tried the snake down the bathtub drain. Didn't work. After uncovering the septic lid and opened the tank He thought the stoppage was in the baffles of the tank and needed to uncover the that portion of the tank. More digging.I asked again for him why does he pull the toilet and run the snake down the pipe. He decided to snake out the sink which is connected to the toilet drain and it cleared the plug. During the process of opening the tank the handle on the lid broke requiring replacement. The serviceman said the tank should be pumped. So I agreed. They came out to pump the next day and told me it was a 1000 gal. tank. Cliff's septic Service had pumped it the last time and said it was a 500 gal tank. They insisted it was 1000 gal. I called Cliff's and they said it was a 500 gal tank. After arguing I decide to pay them to get them out of my yard. I will have someone come and examine the tank. I will report more later. Now I can go in my yard and fix the flower bed that was destroyed.
