Based on my experience, I can only recommend you NOT use this company: A horrible experience, damaging hardwood floors refinished just two-months prior - by dragging a piano across the floors - denting the wood(!) and damaging the finish...and still no further response from the owner after initially acknowledging the damage, despite their "answer" to this review below. And by the way, the response below this review appears to be an automated response. They don't answer the phone number they give, they don't call back, they don't respond to emails (with photos) of the damage caused. They are NOT a good company to work with. I don't know how they have gotten any decent reviews based on my experience with them. I called Two Men and a Truck to ask if they were experienced and equipped to move a standard upright piano from one room - 40 feet into another room (up one 6 inch step). Their sales person said "absolutely, and we have the right equipment to do so. We'll come out with a "piano board" and can definitely make the move or you." Three individuals from Two Men and a Truck came out. At first, they brought no equipment into my home. Then, they sent two back to the truck to bring the "piano board". Then, they decided that wouldn't work, but suggested they could lift one end of the piano over the lip of the sunken living room step after putting some pads on the step ...and they could just push the piano up the step with the bottom of the piano resting on the pads. (The "lip" of the step sticks out, so this would risk pulling nails in the board at the lip of the step). Then, they struggled to put the piano parallel to the step, kind of lifting/dragging it across the floor on the piano casters. Well, the 3 guys they sent were not able to lift the piano, so I ended up helping at one end of the piano to lift it to the next level (I'm 66 - so it did strain my back to do so). Then, they sent two guys back to the truck to come back with 4-wheel moving carts to lift the piano onto. I left the room because of COVID concerns. When I came back into the room, they were trying their "lift/drag" method to move the piano from one room to the next room. Because of COVID, the leader filled out the paperwork, then called me back into the room to sign the moving papers. The piano was in the right place, and at first, I did not notice the damage to the floors (I was trying to be fast to sign) - never imagining they would have damaged my home as they did. The movers actually had the gall to ask me to add a tip for their services - despite their having to ask me to help lift the piano!! (and damaging my floors!!!!!) I was left with terrible "trails" across my newly refinished hardwood floors...and the movers left. The local office said they would "contact their wood guy" to take care of the damage. I called and emailed the following day after hearing nothing back from them, and am now still waiting for a response. So far, they are silent. I'm guessing that they will leave me with damaged hardwood floors for me to fix, and they have already gladly taken their money for wrecking my floors. Just disgusting performance on their part...and it seems I will be left with trying to figure out how to file a claim in small claims court. Any lawyer that wants to help???
