Description of Work: e was actually trying to help us but we went in another direction wanted him to come out and look at our space but we never got to that point. we did have something we thought he could doff we put in a fan over our stove but his price to do the job was twice as much as if the store came out. so we backed away from him

Description of Work: I have already written a review. His work was excellent. He did various handy and difficult jobs around the house, hanging pictures, installing door chimes, and solving unusual installation problems. His ideas were creative, and he was a pleasure to work with. in suggesting how to hang something

Very fast response to email. Clear and totally understandable communication. Arrived on time the scheduled day. I gave Brad very little instruction. I showed him the problem areas. He clearly knew what had to be done and how. He had additional suggestions that saved me time and money. The job was completed in one day, for the estimated cost. Brad also does an excellent job of clean up, you would not have known that any work had taken place.
Description of Work: Rehung several cabinet doors. Put new wood floor in outdoor kitchen cabinets. Fixed several doors that would not close or did not fit. Replaced hinges that were rusted or did not work correctly. Hung drape rods. Replaced wood that had water damage.
It went well. Brad arrived on time, and called if he was planning on arriving later than planned. Once we figured out what needed to be done, he went at it pretty quickly. I tried to get any needed supplies for the job ahead of time to cut down on costs, and Brad worked with me on those aspects of the job.
Description of Work: I called Brad in a pinch to get a number of things done around the house. They ranged from doing drywall work, to painting the interior of my garage. He also fixed a number of smaller items, and came over on an emergency call later the following week to modify some tile in order to install a microwave in my kitchen.

Terrific. Brad is excellent! He's timely, efficient and clearly takes pride in his work. We're very, very happy with every job he completed for us. In addition, Brad is a friendly, very nice guy and reasonably priced. We will definitely call Brad from now on whenever we have a carpentry job needed to be performed in our home. We cannot say enough great things about him. :-)

He was on time and did good work. He was helpful with one issue we ran into. He was very friendly and courteous.
Description of Work: They made a custom design set of shelving. I designed it and he helped me with the rest of the design and built it.
I'm a single mother who owns a house, NOT a handy type, so needless to say, I had a giant list of problems. Initially, Brad said that he wouldn't be able to help me, until 2008. But then, he had a cancellation and was able to give me some time. And it all went great! He got so much done, in the 4.5 days he was there. The first day I was able to be there, and just kept pointing out annoyances and he promptly fixed them. And he was very respectful of both me and my two kids. They both loved him. Ha, no wonder Brad is so booked in advance. There were some problems we didn't get to, but I hope to hire him again.
Description of Work: Brad was at my house for 4.5 days fixing an extremely varied list, of problems, annoyances, general improvements. Which included things like installing the baseboard that had never been installed, buying and installing a new vanity/faucet in my bathroom, fixing the falling down ceiling in the bathroom, which included priming and painting, fixing a hole in the my second bathroom's floor, buying and installing overhead lighting in the bedrooms, fixing broken cabinet drawers/panels, installing a door, totally gutting and cleaning up my garage. Ridding me of so much detritus that I just didn't want/need. And fixing so many other annoyances I can't even detail here.

I contacted Brad by e-mail and he responded right away. He was booked out for several months with other jobs, but we weren't in a huge hurry so we decided to wait since he had high ratings. He did a great job of keeping in touch via e-mail leading up to the job, and always responded quickly to my questions. He showed up a little early on the day of the job and got right to work. I am not handy around the house, so he was very helpful in answering all of my questions. The job took 7 1/2 hours, with a portion of the time spent simply waiting for the plaster to dry. The best part was while he was waiting for things to dry he asked if there were any other repairs he could do for us. He patched other areas of the house, cleaned the entry way light fixture which requires a tall ladder to reach, took down my large vent, vacuumed it out and cleaned the vent cover, and also fixed a light in my laundry room. The wall repair was great, and he left everything clean. We will use Brad again.
Description of Work: We had a leak in our roof which caused damage to our ceiling and down the walls. It was in a difficult spot high above our stairwell so we didn't want to try to do it ourselves.
Brad removed the granite tiles, cut the countertop to size, refinished the recently removed tiles, polished the edges, reinstalled the now appropriately sized tiles, refinished the wall where the bar had been supported on the bottom and the side, repainted the area, and cleaned everything up. He even vacuumed the living room, dining room and kitchen when he finished. He also removed and installed a kitchen faucet, and cleaned the sink as best as possible that had been damaged by the installation of the old faucet.
Description of Work: Brad removed an overhanging countertop/bar, and refinished the remainder. He also installed a kitchen faucet.

Brad knows what he is doing and planned the job carefully and worked fast, cleaning up and leaving a neat good looking job.
Description of Work: After an ice maker flood ruined my kitchen floor, I hired Brad to redo the kitchen, (IE) take up the floor cabinets, particle board, and plywood underneath, replace the cabinets, and tile the floor and counter top. He hoped to tile on top of the old vinyl but the particle board was glued to the tile and everything had to be torn out and plywood replaced and topped with backer board and tile. The counter top did not survive the removal and Brad built a new one and covered it with granite tile. He replaced the old molding around the room with new molding. Brad sealed the tile on the floor and counter top. He did all this and finished up in 5.5 days working alone. The job cost more than estimated because the floor and counter top job turned out to require more materials and labor. He charged approximately $4,000 and I paid for the tile and molding separately.

It went like clockwork. Brad was reliable and did everything he said he would do. He worked in tandem with another contractor who was painting and also doing some carpentry in the house.
Description of Work: Brad installed crown molding in almost the entire house, hung 13 interior doors, trimmed the front door inside and out (disguising an irregularity in how the door was hung), installed shelves in two closets, and built custom shelving in our pantry. Brad did all the shopping, ordering, and delivering of materials. The price includes materials.

Brad is great. He's on time, works hard, focuses on detail, and cleans up after himself. He's got a great sense of humor. My young kids all loved watching (and trying to help) him do the work.
Description of Work: We had a laundry list of home repair projects including: sheet rock patching; repair of leaky faucets; relocating an in-ceiling heater vent; moving electrical, phone, and cable TV outlets; lighting installation; replacing broken door knobs; etc. Sir Fix-A-Lot (aka Brad Ryno) came highly recommended from a co-worker. He's spent 4 days at the house working on our projects and the work is stellar. His attention to detail is superb and the finished projects look great. We'll continue to use him as long as we have projects that need doing. Starting in a few weeks, we'll be replacing a shed and installing some hardscaping in the yard. We'll be using Brad for these projects as well.
