The project went very well. Workers arrived on time, cleaned up the debris (which was considerable) and overall did a great job.

We couldn't be more pleased with how our siding project turned out. It transformed our 1950s home from looking old and tired to almost new. We get lots of compliments from people walking by and our friends can hardly believe it's the same house! We got bids from several contractors, but decided on Side-Pro because we had such an exceptional experience with our sales person, Calvin, they provided a fair price, and our overall impression of the company was that they are very professional and would do the best work. We definitely weren't disappointed! Our siding journey started several months before we actually decided to proceed with the job -- we took a tour of the Side-Pro office and checked out samples of various types of siding, brick, windows, etc. Calvin was very knowledgeable of the products and bent over backwards to help us make our decision -- even drawing a sketch of a roofing modification that we decided not to do because of all the hoops we'd have to jump through to get through permitting, but it was so awesome that he took the time to do it for us. This was a pretty big project for us so we took a few months making our decision, yet Calvin was very patient with us and was always there when we called with questions - even calling us back late at night and one time when he was on vacation. Calvin turned the project over to Ronda to do the project scheduling and coordinate payment and she was really fabulous to work with too. The materials for the job showed up exactly when they said they would and everything was very nicely bundled and they took great care in placing the dumpster so as not to damage our driveway. The crew that did the work was absolutely fantastic. Miguel and his team were incredibly hard workers and meticulously detailed. My husband is a bit of a perfectionist and even he had a hard time finding anything that needed to be adjusted when everything was done. The whole project took about a week from demo to caulking. We had planned to have our house painted by Side-Pro, but it was late fall and the weather wasn't cooperating and Side-Pro had a number of clients booked for painting ahead of us. The schedule was getting too close for comfort for us because we had some parties planned and we didn't want to risk losing our window of opportunity to paint before it became too cold. Side-Pro said they would definitely get the work done for us, but agreed to let us use another contractor to paint the house to make sure the work got done on time. We were disappointed because Side-Pro likely would have done a higher quality job, but given the circumstances everything turned out great and we were really appreciative they didn't give us a hassle in making this change. We were really impressed that after the work was done, Side-Pro sent someone out to QC the job. The person doing the inspection found a board that was installed improperly (even though you couldn't tell from looking at it) and arranged to have it taken off and replaced to ensure we didn't run into problems with it down the road. Ronda helped coordinate this activity too and everything went really smoothly. It is rare to find a company that cares so much about the quality of their work and provides such an exceptional customer experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We got two decks - the upper deck and lower deck. They came and my husband gave them complete plans from the architectural drawings. They seem to be interested and fine then suddenly.....nothing. There was no reply. They were nice and congenial but we never heard again from them. My husband and I are not rude and nasty people. They seemed professional and I would have been happy if the price is right but they never came back so I'm going to start calling other contractors or go to friends to ask. I never gave them any indication that we are going to just drag this on. I was looking for a stretch one weather when this could be accomplished. I'd like a new deck to enjoy this summer not at the end of summer.

This was a wonderful experience starting with Calvin who estimated the job. He spent a lot of time with us working out the details - far above what I would consider normal. Even after the agreement was signed, I had many concerns which he explained patiently. He was always available. Mike was the foreman on the abatement and re-siding. He and his crew were prompt, very professional, and did everything they could to make us happy. While removing the old siding, it was discovered that the windows had to be re-set. Considering they are on the second floor and oversized, this was accomplished without problems and what I would consider a very reasonable cost. Grant painted the new siding and trim along with the soffits and fascias on the entire building. He was accommodating and did an excellent job. Ronda handled the scheduling and payments. She is terrific. Everything appears to go through Ronda and she makes it so easy for the customer.

They were wonderful. They were competitive and came back quickly. They were very professional, personable, and punctual. However, we decided to go with someone that was a little more inexpensive.

We whole-heartedly recommend this company. Their professionalism and customer service is unsurpassed in our experience. They not only did everything they said they would but they went above and beyond what we expected. The paint and gutter sub-contractors they recommend were equally outstanding.

They were fine. They were supposed to come out on April 30th, and they had no come out so I called and I said the person is not here and they said "Oh! We did not have you done." So, it went really great as the person I spoke with said "we are really sorry, I will be out there myself in like half an hour." So, they were able to come out a little bit later, but it worked up good. So, the person came out, did his thing and then he e-mailed me the quote the next day or so.

The experience was good. They are licensed by HardiePlank. They are one of their regional installers. They were efficient.

The interaction was good and so far has been brief. It’s been great! They are very responsive on all those things that you would want and somebody is providing a quote for you certainly. They are pretty timely in terms of getting back to us. I think the quote seems reasonable. I think that they brought somebody else that seem to do a thorough inspection of their work and seem to very professional for that point.

We contacted several companies for bids, limiting our candidates to companies doing both windows and siding. We were impressed with Side-Pro's estimator because he actually understood what we were trying to accomplish by resizing the existing windows and offered several helpful suggestions that made the project better. The suggestions included: - Replacing a 24wx48h push-out casement window and an adjacent 48x48 panel with a single large slider. - Replace 2-36w x48h panels with a single 60w x 30h slider to provide better space for bench seating under the window. - Replace a small double push-out casement window with a crank out awning instead of a small slider to increase glass opening. - Replace only the glass panels in 2 trapezoid gable windows; rather than replace the existing wood frames to reduce cost and keep the appearance from the street the same as previous. - Install intake and exhaust vents for the portable air conditioner we use in the space (to prevent the need to temporarily vent through the window. In addition, he was the only estimator who recognized and specified the installation of deck flashing between the siding and the existing balcony. Side-Pro is Hardie certified and provided the cheapest bid for the project. The windows (except for the gable panels) were Milgard vinyl replacement grade and are very good quality. A minor complaint about Side-Pro is they are a little lax in keeping you up-to-date as to the schedule. However, once scheduled the crew arrived on time. Since we have an alley facing driveway that is gated, the materials and port-a-potty were staged in there, and a trailer was put in front of the house to handle the demolition and construction debris. The demolition went smoothly and the all debris was cleaned up every day. The crew was very polite and professional. I am familiar with construction technique and researched installation instructions on all materials to be used. To the best of my understanding nad observations, they adhered to the specifications and installation instructions. A few minor gripes: - There was a small measurement error in the sizing of the gable windows which required the installation crew to rout the frame to adjust for the error. This resulted in a significant amount of dust entering the living space which could have been prevented by putting up a plastic barrier. - In general the crew was very good about asking for clarification on placement of the newly sized windows, but I did have problems explaining how I wanted the a/c vents installed--took a couple of tries to get it right, but it worked out. - At completion, they trapped a temporary cable TV drop between the deck and the newly installed flashing. I wish they had asked about it before replacing the deck boards. I will need to remove the deck board to remove the cable. - The nails used to install the siding were considerably longer than needed and were a pain to deal with when installing installation in wall cavities in the areas where the windows were resized. There was one major issue with the project: The last phase of work performed by the crew was to install the Hardie shingles on the front gable of the house. After seeing the work done on the addition I was not the least bit worried that there would be any problems with the completion of the gable. Unfortunately, I was wrong. A significant number of 'flappers' (shingles that were not lying flat), were face nailed with the flat-headed roofing style nails instead of pin-brads as had been used for the same purpose on the addition. This was very ugly and because it was on the front of the house, I was very unhappy and disappointed. When the job inspector came to look at the work, he agreed to redo the gables, but qualified it with a statement that he could argue that the job was 'good enough' to meet Hardie's standards with a strong implication that I was being unreasonable. I took him around to the other part of the house and showed the work that had been done and told him flatly that if the front had been done to the same standard we would NOT be having the discussion, and I would be handing a completion check. I suspected that the foreman had been called away to another job and left the crew to finish the job without supervision, and later found out that is in fact what happened. To their credit, they did send someone out to redo the work we considered not up to standard. Since the weather turned before we could paint the siding (not part of the contract), they have agreed to return just prior to having the painting done in spring (Hardie siding is primed and can be painted up to 6 months after installation) to set and putty any nails that are found not to be flush. I wish I could say that the project went without any problems. Despite the problems, I think Side-Pro is a good organization and all is well that ends well. It was clear to me that the crew took pride in there work. When I came home and was distressed about the face nailing of the shingles on the front gable, I could tell the workers were concerned that I was disappointed. They did make it right in the end. Therefore, I think an overall satisfaction grade of 'A' is justified. Nonetheless, I don't feel I should have had to make an issue of the work and the inspector's attitude could have been better when I explained why I was unhappy (he did later apologize for his remarks)and they were not always good about following up without being prompted which are the reasons I gave them a 'B' in two categories. Nonetheless, based on my experience I can recommend them and would use the again for the same type of work, albeit with a bit more supervision on my part.

The estimate process was really straightforward and thd bid was right on. The guys showed up when the job was supposed to start and were finished far sooner than I thought they would be. They kept the work site really clean and the work was great.

After getting estimates from several companies we chose to go with Side-Pro. They began work on time, stuck to their schedule, and always did follow ups with us to make sure we were happy with the work. They concluded the work on time as well. Overall the work was excellent, the team was wonderful to work with, and we are very happy!

It took me about a year to review different siding companies, comparing prices and scope of work, but I finally settled with Side-Pro. I appreciated the detailed scope of work and pictures they provided in their bid compared to vague work descriptions that other vendors provided. Also, Calvin came onsite and provided detailed observations on my siding and description of the work they would do. I appreciated his honesty and estimation of which elevation needed work sooner and which elevation could wait. He answered our endless questions patiently and with detail, which gave us assurances that this was a company with could trust. I no time, did I feel any pressure from Calvin in regards to getting the deal done. The siding crew that came out to work on our siding was led by Michael. His crew worked diligently and efficiently even though the weather was miserable. They came early at 8am and stayed past 5pm to get the work done. His crew was professional, and kept the area safe and clean. They didn't smoke, nor did they swear, which we appreciated since we have young children with asthma. Michael was available to answer any concerns I had about the work in progress, and also provided his insights on other areas of the house when I asked about them (moisture stains in the roof, nail holes in the roof shingles, etc. The day the work was done, they crew moved off to their next project and the dump and port-a-potty were moved the next day. A day later, their quality-control supervisor came onsite to review the work. The next day, Calvin also visited just to give me chance to voice any questions, concerns, complaints I had. I appreciate the quality customer experience that Calvin provided and the quality craftsmanship that Michael's crew provided. I would use SidePro again to complete my remaining elevations and would recommend them to others.

We had a deck installed by a landscape company that did not account for flashing around the edges of the deck next to the house. Side Pro originally installed our siding and we had them back to fix the issue. they were incredibly efficient, and did not damage the existing deck. We wished we had them install the original deck! They even came back on the weekend to do a final walk through and fix a few remaining issues.

Russell gave us a really detailed quote after carefully inspecting our current siding and getting all the measurements. We really appreciated his attention to detail. The initial quote was more than some of the other quotes that we had, but after working on the choices of trim and other little things, Side Pro was able to give us the best price for the quality that we were getting! The team that completed the siding was awesome! They did a great job. There was this one time when they had left a small portion that they were going to work on the next day uncovered, which should have been covered since the original siding in that part had been removed. When we noticed it and called Russell, he came over right away and fixed it himself!Really appreciated that! They replaced our LP siding with fiber cement siding in April and then scheduled a date in June for painting when the weather was a little better. Russell helped us pick colors by sending us pictures of how our house would look in the set of colors that we had picked! It was a smooth experience overall and we would highly recommend them!

Very well done from start to finish. We were very pleased with the estimator and the workers.

The job took a while to get started due to scheduling conflicts by both parties but Ronda (SidePro's job coordinator) was always in contact. The SidePro crew was fast and efficient once the job started - finished slightly ahead of schedule. They corrected many of the obvious issues we had with the installation of the original siding: flashing around our deck and window caps, wrapping the windows with Vicor, resetting the windows, and replacing the rotted sections of frame and sheeting. My one complaint would be that the crew did not put down tarps around the demo areas or underneath the pile of demo'd materials that were to be taken to the dump - this meant I spent the next month pickup up random bits of cut flashing and nails so they didn't end up in our kids shoes or bare feet (the affected portion of the house faces our deck and backyard). A relatively minor criticism but would have added an extra element of professionalism.

The company provided a very complete bid package. communicated well as to start and progress points on the job. The crew was professional and asked for my input at times when there were options on what to do. They cleaned up well daily and completed the job as projected.
