Went great - the guy doing the work explained the problem to me and the solution, and fixed it expediently.

They told us we didn't need repair or replacement because it was just the wood leaking natural oils. We were extremely satisfied that they took the time to come out for free and did not suggest unnecessary repairs.

The work turned out great. They were good and I was very happy with the work. Everything went well. They did a good job and they were responsive to any problems that I had.

I was in the process of buying an older home when the inspection revealed serious problems with the existing siding. I got two estimates to fix the problem; Side Pro was by far the most reasonable. But the seller wasn't going to cover the cost, which meant a complicated kind of loan. The Side Pro people moved heaven and earth to make deadlines, submit proposals, make revisions and alter their payment schedules. And they kept me calm in the midst of it as the transaction threatened to go sideways several times. The work began and then the snowstorm hit. Their crew was out there working except for the worst of times, and when the inevitable problems occured (I have a home with two walls of glass and a window got cracked; a problem occured with a light requiring an electrician) they immediately took care of the problem, no questions asked. They were polite, amazingly responsive, great communicators (I got info within hours, not days) and skilled at what they did. And my home looks great!

Russel came out quickly to estimate the job and then sent me the quote by email. The fact that they used email was actually a big deal to me - as I work in an office all day and don't have time to make a lot of calls. The quote came in slightly higher than a few other places - but they seemed the most professional. The siding job went pretty well - the workers were done with the entire job in 3 days. There was one major problem - they sided around the back door so that it was basically unusable. But - when I called Side-pro - they came out and fixed it with no complaints. The painting job went really well. They missed one small area - but came out right away to fix the problem. Annoyances: There were a few communication problems during the job - it seemed like the woman at the office was not in total communication with the foreman and estimator. I don't know why the foreman and estimator weren't in contact with her about the project at times. Some of the scheduling was botched - I was told certain jobs were going to start on certain dates and a few times they didn't. Some of this was due to weather which is understandable, other times I'm not so sure. Basically - I am very happy with their work - they made a few mistakes - but fixed them right away and with no complaints or cost. I would use them again.

Side-Pro came to our house punctually, gave a firm and fair estimate of scope and price to replace siding on south side of the house. The job got scheduled within a few weeks. Informative and efficient "walk through" in advance of starting work. The crew arrived on time and as expected. They worked very quickly, very carefully and did a fantastic job which they completed within 5 days. I am very, very pleased with my experience with Side-Pro.

The entire experience as so smooth and the whole staff worked with us on what we wanted to accomplish. The job was completed ontime and exceeded our expectations. The crew was very respectful and professional and a pleasure to work with. The house does not even look the same it is amazing. What an incredible job they did. Anyone who needs siding should use SidePro for sure.

Overall Side-Pro was a great company to work with. It all started with a 20x20 deck addition to the back of the home and that experience was great. They got the deck all framed up in 8 hours and then it took about 2 days more to get everything completed and it looked great. Then we decided to change our vinyl siding over to cedar shingles so the house and deck would match and then decided to switch out all windows and sliding glass doors as well and we used Side-Pro. Overall our whole experience was great and we would definitely use Side-Pro for any future projects and highly recommend them to anyone who needs this type of work done. Next on my to-do list is the roof and we will definitely call Side-Pro for this, this has to wait until next year though.

The side-pro people did an excellent job and it looks good. There were some issues. only one of which was due to the contractor. Two of the windows were sized slightly too small due to a mistake by the estimator. We didn't insist they change them and they shimmed them in and put in new inside trim to cover the extra gap. We requested the two sidelights by the front door be just double pane unit without the frame and Milgard sent them in frames. Also two of the double hung windows couldn't be opened from the top because the glass didn't fit correctly. Milgard fixed these problems promptly. Side-pro originally said the whole job (siding, windows and painting the trim) would take 4 days, and it was close to 2 months to get it all done, some of the delay having to do with waiting for replacement windows from Milgard (see above). Overall, the Side-pro people were easy to work with and did an excellent job.

The team at Side-Pro gave me a bid and estimate, including help with the design. The backyard patio and roof with columns and beadboard finish turned out fantastic, it is the focal point of our yard. When we are hosting a party, I always get comments from my guests and I have often times referred them to Side-Pro. Class act from start to finish.

The job took about 6 to 8 weeks to complete, there was never a Foreman on the job, (they stopped by now and then in the evening when I was there) and part of the issue was not having one point of contact to work with. The excuses I was given for time was that they had another job with lots of rot, then they were doing windows, etc. etc........ The Foreman were supposed to have inspected the work that was done..... they fell significantly short. I received a phone call relative to my rating. Here is the issue, I had some dry rot and the workers stuffed old LP siding into the space and covered it and stapled tar paper and were ready to side it. I knew about the dry rot and felt something was wrong and opened it up to find not only the rotten timbers but old failed LP siding stuffed inside to make it flat. Second issue, workers were not replacing tar paper where possible were keeping my old torn tar paper. Day after I complained about the dry rot and LP stuffing, watched workers start to side on old tar paper, lead worker said something in a foreign languarge to the one putting the siding on while on scafolding and handed him the roll of 60# tar paper.... I was told after the job was over that the lead was fired - - -- didn't do much good while my job was going on wonder what I didn't catch because I was at work. Was supposed to get 4 ft. wide decking replaced on front deck - hmmmm lucky if it is 2 feet, just repainted with decking paint and have loose boards tha should have been replaced. The crew also took my window screens and left them laying in the garden dirt... I have dogs and guess what they walked on the screens - just cost me about 365.00 to get them rescreened..... This is why I do not recommend this company and will never do business with them again. Had to have some of the siding not completed fixed during painting, and ended up sealing with caulking myself - again more out of my own pocket because of poor workmanship. The best part of the job was the painting. Lesson learned make sure you have each detail outlined line by line on what you expect to be done, write in contract that anything not covered that is found requires additional bid and signed approval (same way I have dealt with all other contractors). Be sure you agree to the details as outlined in the bid. Add on here: Be sure you remove and ensure correct careful placement of your window screens - I didn't remove mine the crew did and left them lying on the ground. they moved them when they realized my two old dogs had walked on them and scored the mesh. The cost to have them repaird is $250.00..... Wish I had realized it - the workers did not say a word and simply put the screens torn and scored back on the windows..... Be sure to inspect every part of the work. I also took pictures of everything. Although company indicated they let a worker go - they did nothing when they were working on my home but make excuses... This was not a wonderful experience.

There were only two contractors in our area that were certified by James Hardie to install Hardie Plank. Side-Pro had the lowest bid. There was about a two-week lead time before Side-Pro could begin our job. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and spoke english. There was a brief delay because their compressor and saw would trip the cicuit breaker when running on the same circuit and I had to run home from work to reset the breaker and plug them into two separate circuits. Even so, they took less than two days to finish the work, which included new flashing, moisture barrier and caulking. They completely cleaned up their mess each day before leaving. It took a few more days for the dumpster to disappear, but no big deal. The new Hardie siding matches up pretty well with the remaining cedar siding and is now ready to paint. It looks great, and should never have to be replaced again.

Two people came to do siding check. One person was very professional and good, and he was from Side-Pro. I really liked him as he was honest. The other one that came said he would send an amount but did not. Side-Pro was excellent. The guy who came out was honest, came on time and quickly. He was personable. I just told him what all I needed. He will not be doing this work for me but I'm keeping his business card for any other work I might need done. Personally I really liked him. Suddenly we didn't need our siding replaced but he gave me his honest opinion.

I had 3 companies came out and gave bids. Russ from Side Pro was able to meet with me quickly after I called them, he was very professional and explained what might be wrong and what they can do to fix it. I felt comfortable with them even though their price came in the middle and scheduled the repair with them right away. The repair was done in less than a week. The job was finished in about 1/2 day and it's done nicely. I don't have leaks so far in about a month now. I do have 1 suprise though, because in the final bill they counted 2 hours to measure and purchase the material (from the lumber company near my house) which wasn't mentioned to me in the first meeting. My understanding was they will bring the material to my house to start the job (as Russ has taken measurement before). That's why I gave "B" for pricing. But everything else was excellent.

Russell was very thorough in the inspection and quote process. Even though I was only interested in one wall where there was very obvious water damage to the siding, he inspected the entire facade of the house and recommended replacement of siding in a few other locations where he found water damage. Ultimately another company provided a lower bid at about half the price of Side-Pro, and I went with them.

Side-pro provided a thorough estimate including typical issues. They were not the lowest bidder, but had a great sense of professionalism. They showed up when they promised and got immediately to work. When they found wood rot underneath, they recommended a contractor to fix the damage. Afterwards, they came back and finished the work right away. When there was some leakage, they came back twice on the day we called and removed their work and repaired the damage. Painting was done quickly on the dry days. No additional charges, no hesitancy to stand behind their work.

There roofing was excellent and the siding crew was excellent. I was very pleased overall siding job because all the other companies wanted to make the house look the same and side pro photo shopped the house with different choices. They made the house look like a brand new home. I feel that I got more then my moneys worth.

Best experience with contracting company to date! Side Pro did exactly what they said they would do and in a timely fashion. Our new siding, pillars, and paint look great and we are confident it will weather well in the NW climate since the installation was done correctly. Highly recommend this company and would use them again in future projects.

These guys are very easy to work with, very responsive, and competitively priced. I had a 3000+ sqft house with LP and EIFS siding that I wanted to replace with HardiePlank. They had good reviews on Angie?s List, were in good standing with BBB, and were one of just two re-modelers that appeared on the James Hardie website for my area (the other one being a big box store that gave me a ludicrously high quote). All great, so I called them up and was pleasantly surprised how responsive they were. I got a detailed estimate a couple of days after the initial visit. It was competitively priced and within the ballpark I was thinking of. And, they happened to have also completed similar work on a neighbor?s house. I was glad the experience was there on a very similar house. My house also had some aesthetics that I wanted to preserve, but I was not sure how to handle with the re-siding. They were very open to my requests and laid out some good options that came out very well in the end. For example I wanted a layered look on a small part of a wall and I had an archway entrance I wanted to keep. They sketched up some ideas, even had a picture of an archway that they have installed before, and were able to put up some samples for me on my wall to decide before doing the final nail-in. The crew was hard working. They found a few issues with the previous installation, were forthcoming about them, and were completely open to providing a fix. They were also quicker than I expected and were able to completely reside the house in about a week ? and that probably would have been faster if it were not for the EIFS, which is difficult to remove. They can also do painting as well as provide other aesthetic woodwork such as shutters. It really was a one stop shopping solution. Very happy with the end result, and was equally satisfied with their quality of service throughout the entire project.

Responded promptly with a complete quote. The estimator pointed out water damage to trim boards that others missed and recommended that all trim be replaced. That added about $2.5K to the bid but was the right approach. The water damage to the boards and behind the trim boards was very apparent when everything was stripped off. It would have been a change order for the other bids. Work started on time and finished 4 days early! Their price was in the middle of the range of what I would have had to pay other contractors. Crew was considerate and hard working.

Excellent experience. Wonderful people to work with - knowledgeable and efficient. I felt that my satisfaction was important to them and they left the work area tidy and clean each evening. The final result was great!

Based on the quality of work that they have done till date, I would rate them highly.

Side-pro's estimate was in the ballpark as others, but I decided to go with them as theirs was the most detailed. They noticed problems caused by failed flashing and offered to fix. Russell even fixed a clogged downspout during the estimate. They took a genuine interest in the exterior of the house. That and the fact that they are listed as official installers on the James Hardi website is what sold me. The work went pretty smooth. Everyone was great to work with. Mid-way there was an issue with flashing being cut too short, so they replaced that for an added $500, but communicated it well before proceeding so there was no surprises. They also offered to replace an old wooden gate and install a new door, which ended up being more trouble than expected. They noticed the old door was installed incorrectly, and took measures to install the new door right. After everything was done, the manager walked me through an inspection and made sure I was satisfied. Side-pro pays attention to details and it shows. My neighbors have all commented that they love my new siding. I no longer have to worry about failed LP siding collecting water and instead can enjoy the new look of my house.

Water was not flowing directly to the rain gutter. Due to the some missing flashing and construction paper, water had managed to get behind some boards and cause minor dry. The underlying boards with minor dry rot were deemed not necessary to be replaced but rather some type of construction adhesive product was used on them. Since the siding was not readily available, it was first thought that some boards would have to be specially milled. Finding a supply of the siding took a while. In the end, no special fabrication needed to be done. Boards were found and the work was promptly done. Joaquin was timely and professional. The work area was left clean and tidy. Total time on site was about 5 hrs and the costs for time and materials was under $600.00 The administrative staff, Amanda and Rhonda, were quite helpful and courteous. I was contacted a number of times to keep me informed of their need to locate some siding and accommodate my schedule. Overall, a very nice experience and I think anyone would be happy using their services.

Sidepro came out and gave me an estimate to side my house. There quote was reasonable. So far they have been topnotch.
