I contacted Jim Reynolds in October, 2014 when I found his reviews on Angie's List. After several meetings with Jim, a plan was put into place and our project was started the end of January, 2015. The job was completed by the end of February, 2015. My husband and I have worked with several contractors over our years of remodeling. We have NEVER been so impressed with a contractor and his crew. My parents live with us and our dad uses a walker so I was very concerned that the paver blocks were set firmly and smoothly for his safety and comfort while entering and exiting the front door. My dad has no problems maneuvering over the pavers! We were not disappointed in any way with Jim and his crew; Rigo, Carlos, Darlin, Bradon, and Marvin. They were masters at their craft which became apparent on the first day. Their attention to detail exceeded mine! Additional people were part of this job, Leanne worked on the plant choices, Dan re designed our sprinkler system. Everyone did an excellent job. If you are looking to hire a landscape company, look no further. I will refer them wholeheartedly and will be using their services again. We feel blessed to have found this company. .

We had a great experience! The crew was on time every day, polite and responsive to our needs, concerns and willing to work with our ideas. The scope of our project was to large to do in one year so we had the crew back the following summer to connect the new upper patio to the lower one by means of a stair case designed with the same material and a dry riverbed on the east side of our home. It looks better now than I ever imagined it could. We would have them back in a heart beat! Thanks Jim and Crew!!

What a great experience! My landscaping is 40+ years old and was in need of renovation plus I had an area with a slope that is fairly steep and was a challenge to maintain. Jim really took the time to understand what I wanted to achieve and then turned me over to his wonderful designer Leanne who created a plan that was beyond my expectations. Once I approved the plan Jim's crew got to work and within 1.5 weeks my yard was transformed. I was very impressed by the work crew - they were here first thing in the morning, worked really hard and did quality work. I'm frugal by nature and it makes me a bit nervous to spend a big chunk of money but I have absolutely no regrets! Jim and his employees are totally professional and really do quality work. Although I've walked through my yard dozens of times since the work was completed, I still can't believe the transformation and how great it looks (this project was completed in November so I'm excited to see how it will look once spring arrives). Reynold's Landscape is totally top notch!!!

We bought the home as new construction in 2005 and wanted to make it nice and usable in the back yard before fall set in. They took care of all and it was very smooth working with Jim and his crew.

We have used Reynolds multiple times over the years, and they have always done a great job. Exceptional design work!

Met with owner Jim Reynolds at our home where we described our vision for installing a bocce court in our seldom used side yard. Jim was creative in suggesting ways to keep the budget down while creating a aesthetically pleasing and functional court. There was some mis-communication on the timeline for the project - Jim said 3 days which we thought meant calendar days not work days - but it was done within one week. We really liked the crew that that did the work, with a special call out to Wilmer who was a joy to work with. We are very satisfied with the outcome and with Reynolds Landscaping.

Everything went great. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They also cleaned up thoroughly after every day they worked. Also they kept me very aware of how the job was going and made sure that I was very happy throughout. They also provided a walk through at the end of the job to make sure we were still 100% satisfied. We enjoyed the company so much that we are now working with their designer on a planting plan. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Jim Reynolds and his crew were a pleasure to work with and never had any problems. On a job this big there are always problems that were not expected and there was never any problem in working out a solution. If I wanted something done they either did it or explained why it couldn't be done. If I didn't like something they did, it was redone without any hassle. I'm very happy with the way it turned out but more importantly the neighborhood is also. They turned an eyesore into something to be proud of. I would use them again or recommend them to anyone.

We were starting a major home remodel and needed to relocate 20+ shrubs and plants to a temporary nursery. Reynolds is more of a design/build contractor and told me they would not be competitive. Mr. Reynolds did provide a referral -- to his favorite planter guy. This person came immediately, gave us a quote for the work, and did an excellent job. We'll use the person again. We also plan to contact Reynolds to provide an estimate for total lawn replacement and sprinkler system installation in the spring of 2014.

Jim Reynolds (the owner) came to our home and personally listened to our wants for the project, both evaluating what we wanted to achieve, and what type of upkeep and maintenance we wanted for the finished landscaping. He returned with a quote for a range of services and we were able to pick the level and options to match our wants and target price range. Next we were provided with a ranges of plants to choose, and then a detailed site plan was created for us to submit to our Homeowners Association. After our plans were approved, Jim?s crew came out and worked very efficiently and professionally. Finally after the work was completed, Jim walked us through the landscaping providing extremely useful advice and knowledge on care and maintenance for our new plants and landscaping. I highly recommend Reynolds landscaping.

I recently moved into a new subdivision and hated my bare, small, sloped and awkward backyard. It was a big eyesore. Landscaping was one of the first things on my to-do list. I contacted my previous landscaper but his company didn't service my area so I contacted three other landscape designers/companies for help. Out all three, Reynolds was the most responsive, affordable (relatively, as landscaping is not a cheap) and convenient. Plus, I felt that Jim, the owner, was really listening to my needs and wants and offered suggestions and solutions that I hadn't thought of. Jim's team, including his landscape designer and foremen, were all great and professional to work with. Everyone was nice, accommodating and responsive. Communication was clear. We had a contract that spelled out all the terms and what we could expect. You could tell that Jim treated his employees fairly and well. The crew were professional and cleaned up after the workday each day. Work was completed as scheduled. The results are impressive and better than I had thought they would be. Leveling the side yard was an idea that I thought was unnecessary but now that it's completed, it's a huge improvement and I'm glad that Jim pushed for that. The slope is now accessible with steps and a dug-in trail/ledge for easier maintenance (I would not have thought of that either). They did a great job of adding large concrete pavers and providing a modern design to our yard. After the project was completed, Jim walked through the job with me to make sure that everything was completed to my satisfaction. I can't wait for the plants to fill in and mature a little more. Now I have something beautiful to look at. Thanks, Jim and team!

They are excellent, prompt, efficient and all around very good. We would use them again and we have called them for smaller projects.

Jim(the owner) gave us a lot of options with our project and kept us up on what would happen each day. The guys who did the work were on time each day and worked so hard. The materials were delivered every AM and they didn't stop until it was all done. We really enjoyed Joann sand her expertise in choosing our landscaping. She did a great job and our yard looks beautiful

I had worked with Jim Reynolds and his crew last year, so I already knew their work. There were no surprises this year. They were on time, worked quickly, made suggestions for improvements, and cleaned up every day. When it came time to select trees, Jim drove me around in his truck, scoping out the neighbors trees, so we could decide what looked best in a real setting. The work took about six days, as promised. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

It was all done fine. A couple bushes even died so they came back and replaced them without any hassle.

The whole project went beautifully, and was practically flawless. We did have a few questions and concerns, which were addressed and resolved immediately. The crew arrived as scheduled, and worked hard all day. They worked a total of eight days. They cleaned the work area daily, and left the site tidy at the end of the project. Jim Reynolds had many good ideas and changed my mind on a number of design ideas. I am glad I listened to him He is a professional, and made my yard beautiful. He was easy to work with, and we have already discussed projects for next year.

Jim came out as scheduled to look at the property and discuss the project. Given the very small scope (dirt work and placing boulders only) and budget ($3,000) of the project, Jim shared with me that he may not be the best, most cost-effective choice for the project. He then provided some suggestions on how best to proceed to get the project completed with my limits in mind.

We were extremely pleased and impressed with the Reynolds firm. They aren't the cheapest option on the market, but you get what you pay for. They came up with a great design and implemented the design effectively, professionally, on time and on budget. Perhaps best of all, when issues or challenges arose, they always stepped-up and did the right thing. A great partnership, and we'll use them again in the future.

Fantastic job overall. We were very, very happy with the job done and everyone on their crew. The planting work turned out excellent and we are happy every day we look out and see the yard looking so great. The choices of plants and general layout (we did it without a plan, it wasn't needed) were fantastic.We would absolutly recommend this company again to friends or use them ourselves.

We have participated in nothing short of a miracle, and with a contractor/crew that is quite possibly the best we have ever worked with on ANYTHING. Reynolds Landscaping is honest, straightforward, hard working, provides an outstanding product and value, and does it with a creative vision, great attitude, and a wonderful working team from the front office to the terrific yard crews. In addition to hardscape and landscape, we got outstanding advice from this expert who trained with Dan Hinkley, formerly of Heronswood Gardens. Jim Reynolds really knows his plants, and we are already lined up to have his help on an ongoing annual basis. Jim met with us to assess our goals and budget and with his design staff moved quickly to provide an outstanding plan; tweaks to the plan were done quickly with clear cost detailing. The plan was structured enough to address our priorities yet also gave us some options on secondary but fun details either for now or later. No pressure tactics, but nicely delivered pros/cons, and in one case a second chance to make the right adjustment on a patio option that was worth every penny of upgrade. We made a couple of changes to add to scope, and Jim made suggestions along the way so that we were in good partnership the whole time. They brought in equipment and staff as needed, helped us know what to expect, and managed somehow to be friendly and accessible while working very, very hard. There were many examples of their offering to do little extras (they hauled away an embarrassing amount of yard junk, broken pots, etc) without adding it onto the tab and they never let on what they must have thought about our shameful neglect of the yard. We cannot emphasize enough what a good value we think they gave us. Yes, it was a lot of money...but you had to see the starting point to know that they gave us every penny of value and then some. We are very, very satisfied customers. I just wish Reynolds Landscaping also did interior decorating, woodworking, and garage storage redesign. This is the kind of contractor and work crew that they should all be.

I had a couple of guys and both were really nice. We worked out timing s and Reynolds gave me a quote sooner and they would start the work sooner. The quote is for $30000. I plan to go with this company.

He came out twice. He seemed to know his business and seemed to have done a range of projects. I liked him. He hasn?t done any work yet.

The contractor gave us a good price (not a steal, but very fair). The job was done on time and with professionalism. One small part of the yard was missed, but the contractor assured us they would be back to complete the job and followed through in a very timely manner. All in all a very goog experience.

Overall the service was great. They had various teams to make the work go quickly (it took 8 days). First they came to meet with me, then they sent me an estimate and walked through with me to explain and modify it. Then they came back on the first day and walked through it one more time, with Jim and a foreman. Then they got to work. Every day the site was clean when they left, and now, a day after completion, everything looks great. They even addressed some of my concerns during the project and modified some things that I wanted a little different after seeing everything take shape. They also incorporated my old plants into the new landscape design. Everything looks GREAT!

He called me and wanted to know how big the job was to decide whether or not it would be worth his time. This occurred three hours before his scheduled appointment. I had taken the day off to accommodate him.
