Ray was very responsive to phone calls. In my initial call he was able to estimate from my description the approximate size of the load in order to determine which of his trucks would be the most appropriate to the task. I was immediately struck by his customer service skills, articulateness, and professionalism -- quite rare (in my experience) among those who haul junk. Even rarer (in my experience) was the fact that Ray-the-personable was the one who showed up himself, with his equally polite helper, to do the actual hands-on dirty-work. Thank-you, Angies List, for helping me to find them! Upon arrival, they first surveyed the entire task, then set to work with unparalleled efficiency and energy. From the Angies List reports, one aspect which attracted me was the reference to recycling -- that Ray recycled as much as possible rather than just dumping everything into a landfill. Sure enough, as they loaded their truck, they systematically grouped recyclables into discrete stacks within the truck -- lumber remnants, building materials, metals, glass, etc. Yes! And they did that just as efficiently as guys that simply toss the jumble into a chaotic tangle. They worked with energy, agility, and good attitude, as if they themselves respected the value of the work that they did. The whole task took only about an hour. I willingly paid the extra add-on fee for the necessary processing of each partially-full old paint-can (dozens of them) , to which Ray would need to add drying agent before dumping. Ray now has a life-long customer in me and in my friends to whom I will highly recommend his services.

I spoke with Ray early in the day to request a quote for hauling several large, bulky items to the dump. He was great -- very positive and professional -- and kept us posted through the day as to when he would be by. He arrived ahead of time to provide us with the estimate and we went ahead with the actual work the same day, since the quote was so reasonable. Ray and his son, Ryan, were both knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. They wrapped up with our clunky junk pile in about 20 minutes (as well as taking two large items from inside the house)! There's not a trace of debris left -- everything is spotless. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we will definitely call Ray's Hauling again for future projects like this one.

Ray provided a very timely response to my request. He was friendly, assistance was superb and he handled the job professionally, quickly and was very well organized. Ray offered solutions to my concerns regarding obsolete office equipment I have. I will schedule another pickup next week for that equipment along with leftovers from my garage sale. I will recommend his firm to my friends and relatives. He deserves and A+ on all categories.

Ray's was the first company that came up when I searched on Angie's. I saw he was well-recommended, so I called him. He gave me an estimate of $125 over the phone, and actually came over that same afternoon! Ray was courteous, hard-working, and stuck to his estimate. Last year we had checked with other hauling companies were quoted $75 JUST FOR THE TV to be picked up! Needless to say, we were extremely pleased with Ray's Hauling. We didn't even ask for the 10% Angie discount, plus gave Ray an extra $25, which we had to force him to take. We will recommend Ray to everyone we know, and certainly will be asking for his business again soon.

Ray came and removed 2 truck loads of yard waste. He arrived for the estimate on time, and we were very impressed with his punctuality and fair price. The next day he arrived on time to do the work and was quick, neat and very pleasant. We would highly recommend his services and if need be, we will absolutely use him again. Ray is an extremely professional and hard working gentleman.

Ray called 15 minutes prior to arrival and was on time. He was very professional. Moving this sofa required a lot of protecting other furniture and decor from getting damaged (I wouldn't have thought to do this and I'm sure would have been sorry if my husband and I tried to move it ourselves). The sofa was quite heavy but Ray's professional knowledge helped make it an efficient and seemingly effortless (to me) job. He knows what he's doing! We were thrilled to find someone who could get this job done quickly at a fair price. I highly recommend his services and will use him again in the future.

We called Ray's Hauling because of the good reports on Angie's List. We are having our exterior house trim repainted soon and mainly wanted to clear out our potting shed, which is also included in the painting project. We had old cans of paint , leftover fence wood, an old wooden barrel; more stuff in the garage; plus some old rugs, blinds and drapes -- lots of junk, in other words. Ray called to confirm a few days before, which increased our confidence. My husband actually dealt with Ray, who arrived on time and took our junk away as agreed. We thought the price was fair considering the fees for disposing of the paint. A few days later we received a thank-you note signed by Ray, which we thought was a nice touch. We will use him again, especially since my husband overlooked a few items.

Ray showed up on-time, if not early, for both the estimate and the job. It took him a couple of trips t the work was done very quickly. I will definetly contact him again if I have other hauling jobs. This was my first hire from Angie's List and it went very smoothly. Thanks.

I called Ray for a hauling job (lots of large stumps). Although Ray could not help me directly (stumps were too big) he proactively contacted another vendor that could handle my job and negotiated a good price for me. Excellent service!

Absolutely top-notch! I called to get an estimate to have a hot water heater hauled away. Ray was here in less than an hour. He not only got the hot water heater, but picked up several other items that I wanted taken to the dump. He was helpful and very pleasant. I am so glad to have a reliable source and will definitely use his services in the future, and recommend him to friends and family.

We called Ray's Hauling and made arrangements for debris to be picked up next day. Ray showed up right on time. He was friendly, quick to get to work and finish the job. He swept the area when finished. He said he would be able to bring our debris to a recycling center. We will call this company again if we need more hauling services.

I called Ray to set up a date, and he could come out the next morning. Wonderful! He was great and worked very fast. Him and his employee had the garage cleaned out in no time. The dump fee was less than he had anticipated, and he sent me back $20 in the mail. I was amazed! Most companies/people would not do this. Will definitely use him again, and I highly recommend him!

Excellent! I called him at 3:30 this afternoon and he was able to stop by about an hour later to pick up the refrigerator.

No need to look any further if you need your "junk" hauled away. Call Ray now!! I called Ray to get an estimate over the phone. I described the project and told him my husband would call him back. When he wasn't able to call back, Ray called to follow-up. I told him we weren't sure when we would need his services as we were doing so many projects at once. I called him a few days later and said I definitely needed him - and quick! He said he'd be out that following business day which was a Monday. He then called me on Sunday to ask permission to stop by to assess the project and ensure he brought the appropriate tools on Monday. Ray showed up Monday on time and with all the right tools. We had a huge load of all types of things. He quickly gathered everything up and hauled it away like it was never there! Then, a couple days later I received a note thanking me for my business. Who does that anymore?! The things that stood out to me were - Ray answered the phone every time. He was incredibly polite and appreciative of my calling. Ray was efficient and professional while doing the work. I will most definitely use Ray's services again and tell everyone I know that he's the one to call - to haul!

Ray made it all disappear. The two of them worked very quickly and efficiently (total load time was 45 min, unbelievable, it would have taken me a day!). They filled a large panel truck and a pickup. Very nice people, very prompt and professional. He called to let me know when they were on their way. This downsizing exercise will take a whole to complete and I will call Ray often to help me out. It went great. Ray came out the day after I called. He asked questions over the phone to determine what trucks would be needed and explained some of the costs for the hard-to-dispose items. One he arrived he gave me a clear estimate and explained what could change the costs. He and his son worked very quickly and even cleaned up the area when they were done.
