ray's hauling and junk removal

I called around for someone to haul it all away. Ray was the one who anwsered the phone. I to talk to him about hauling away my junk and he happened to be doing a job in my area today. He said he'd stop by on his way back. He called me 15 minutes before arriving to tell me he was on his way. When he got there, he couldn't get his truck up the hill I live on (very steep and curvy), so he and his partner walked up, looked over my work, gave me an estimate at a discounted rate, then proceeded to carry (yes, carry!) my junk down the hill to their truck. They made at least 3 trips back up to get my stuff! I paid the asking price + some for the service they provided today. Talk about going the extra mile! :) Definitely would recommend and use again.

I have a family member who lived in an assisted living facility for 7 years. He went to the hospital. At the point it was determined that he would not be able to return home, I was informed by the facility that his room needed to be emptied and that as long as there was personal effects there, I would be charged the daily rate. I was able to clean out the room except for an overstuffed recliner. Late in the afternoon, I called Ray due to the excellent reviews on Angie's List. In less than 2 hours he called me to say that he had the chair and pointed out a couple of things that I forgot. He was prompt, and kind during a very difficult time. He also saved me a day's worth of charges from the assisted living facility.

Overall - it was an extremely positive experience. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Ray and his son were prompt and polite. They had to go around several tight corners to get the tub out of the house - they were very careful not to damage anything en route.

Overall, it was an A+ experience. I had a garage full of trash and called to make an appointment for the coming days/weeks. Phoned Ray - he answered on the second ring and was very gracious and concise. He listened to my explanation of the items/trash to haul, translated it to an approx. truck size, and gave me some scheduling options including the *same day*. He arrived (with his crew) just a few short hours later. His mannerism and crew = very friendly and efficient! Their work only took a few minutes, which was very convenient for me. They're organized and the truck = spotless! So nice to have an overwhelming and dreadful task taken care of by nice professionals who are interested in genuinely earning more local business. Ray show up on time to give an estimate. Decide to just remove the trash and everything went smoothly.

I called Ray about picking up a load (bigger than a pick up load) on a Saturday afternoon and he said he could come within the hour. When he loaded his truck he said he would donate and recycle anything that was worth donating and recycling and would take the rest to the dump. It was a great experience all around.

Great. Right on time, reasonable and very nice. I will call Ray again for the next load as I get my house ready to sell.

These guys are about as professional as you can get. They arrived on time, were very speedy while still being very courteous, and were so thorough they found some junk I had forgotten about. They even took excess paint. Price quoted seemed fair and was what was paid. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

This is the second time I have used Ray's Hauling. Three years ago I used him to haul away items from a rental house and my own house. I was impressed by his fast and efficient service. This time I called him to move a couch, two book cases, and a large TV to different locations in my house. Again, he was prompt and efficient in getting the work done and he seems to genuinely care about providing good service. He works with a partner who is also pleasant, hard working and very careful. I will definitely call him for future work.

Ray agreed to haul away a couch with one day's notice. He kept me apprised of his schedule that day despite other scheduling conflicts, arrived, and hauled the couch away within minutes. He and her partner were courteous, efficient and fair. Thank you.

Ray and his assistant, Ryan, did an absolutely amazing job! I called Ray on Thursday, January 12th and his team showed up the very next day. They were punctual, efficient and courteous. Ray's pricing was very fair! He should have charged me so much more for all that they hauled away. My appointment fell on Friday the 13th, but no bad luck here. It was my lucky day to learn about their services on Angie's List. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart Ray and Ryan.

On the scheduled day, I got a phone call from Ray to confirm that they were coming that day to pickup the sofa. They, Ray and his son, arrived a few minutes early and went straight to work. Think they were here less than 10 minutes tops. Original estimate was $100, with the Angie's list coupon it was down to $90. Very smooth and easy transaction. Will definitely recommend them to others. Now we know who to call next time. The savings provided by the coupon was very much appreciated though it wasn't the prevailing factor in choosing Ray's Hauling. There were other vendors that offered coupons as well. It was the positive feedback from fellow members that helped me make my choice. The place where we bought our soon to come new sofa had a flyer from a hauling service they have used in the past. I didn't find them in Angie's List but I found a few more choices. I'm very happy to find this service here.

We had a variety of old fencing and unusable yard furniture that we removed from under our deck. I'd used Ray before, so called him about getting rid of the stuff. Ray and his son came out later that day. We also had fence posts, with the cement still attached, from an old chain link fence that we had dug out but left in the yard. Ray helped me located them, including one that hadn't been dug out, moved them from the back yard up a few steps to the driveway, loaded them and hauled them away. He also handled the one that hadn't been dug up by having his son saw it off just below ground level. I'll always call Ray when I need hauling done. He is very quick and the price can't be beat. We had been trying to figure out how to deal with the heavy fence posts for a couple of years, and Ray took care of them.

Ray and his son showed up on time on very short notice, and worked their a**** off the entire time they were there. I could not believe how fast they emptied the place out. Ray was respectful, courteous, and ensured I was happy every step of the way. They hauled a big load to the dump/recyclers, and a smaller one of things I wanted to keep to a different location. Fair price for what they did, and I gave them a good tip on top of it with no regrets.

My husband and I removed our kitchen ceiling and 2 walls over Labor Day weekend. As we were pulling out the drywall and studs, we just threw them all in a pile in the backyard. Upon completing the tear-out, we looked at the mess and thought "now what?" Thankfully I convinced my husband that we should have a professional removal service because I really didn't want him to drag it out and try to get rid of the mess himself (and I didn't want too either). I looked on Angie's List and liked what I saw about Ray's Hauling, and I also liked using a local company. Ray was very professional and polite. I called him on Tuesday morning and he offered to come to our home that same day! Since I wasn't going to be home, he was willing to call our home to advise our college-age daughter that he was on his way. He called me when he arrived, as I requested, to quote the price. It seemed very fair. He and his helper worked quickly and efficiently, recommended to my daughter that we water the lawn to dissolve the little bits of drywall left in the grass. It was a huge relief to have the mess gone when we got home from work that day. Thank you Ray for bailing us out after our poor planning! We would definitely use Ray's Hauling when needed in the future.

Ray and his son were fantastic. I called in the morning, they came by after lunch and were in and out within 20 minutes. They worked quickly, communicated well and charged a reasonable fee for all of the junk we needed to dispose of. My wife and I were very pleased with the service. Can't ask for anything more.
