Excellent. Ray and son arrived on time, quick, professional, willing to haul stuff down one flight of stairs...even asked if I had any heavy lifting that needed to be done while they were there! Awesome. And compared to those bigger Junk removal companies, the price cannot be beat! Local, friendly. Use this business!

I called Ray at 9am. He showed up at my house at noon, after another job. He and his son made short work of a chore that would have taken me hours, if not all day, plus would have involved renting a pickup, plus dump fees, plus all that schlepping. Even without the Angie's List discount I have to say that the service provided by Ray's Hauling was a HUGE value for me. Everything you've read in the other reviews is true. The Foleys are prompt, fast efficient, friendly, personable--just great guys, really. I have to say though that all the dry language of service provider reviews doesn't even begin to do justice to how great it was to work with them. Heck, the darn guys wouldn't even let me carry stuff out to the truck! Highly recommended.

Good. Ray and his son were efficient and professional.

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a service provider. I called them on Saturday night with a vague description of the work. On Sunday morning they came out to provide an estimate, on Monday morning all of the junk was gone. Ray and his partner are very friendly and professional and did an outstanding job. They made sure that stuff that can be recycled will be and that hazardous waste gets disposed of correctly.

Was able to show up right away, did everything that was asked, quickly and efficiently. We will be using his services again.

They were on time, made sure they only hauled what they were supposed to do, and hauled it all away. The service was good.

I have hired Ray Foley over the years for many hauling jobs at rentals and our home. He is always on time, friendly, very helpful, works quickly, brings me receipts from the Goodwill, and writes handwritten thank-you notes for giving him my business. This time around we were moving out of state and had a lot of stuff to sort our and get rid of. He asked me to point him to the work, and he helped me sort things out and throw things away - one pile for the dump, another pile for charity, one pile to move to our home. A few weeks ago I had Ray out to help me get started, and he found me crying with a bunch of "professional packers" in the house (what a joke) who didn't know what they were doing and their supervisor had gone walkabout. Ray asked me if he could supervise them, and he put these guys to work. Under Ray's direction got the two-car garage - which was packed with stuff - mostly cleaned out in a couple of hours. I cannot believe how fast Ray works and how - in the absence of their leader - he motivated these guys to start working! Ray works fast and the guys had to start moving to keep up with him. Ray's son helps on many occasions and he is a good worker too, friendly and helpful. I have also used other haulers, and they were good, but no one has been as good as Ray and his son. They are simply the best! Ray has made every hauling job a fun and quick experience, and he has really been a lifesaver for me. Ray has a terrific attitude and is a joy to know.

This is the 3rd time I have used Ray's Hauling and he is always on time, amazing how quickly he and his son can get the job done. They are professional and very reasonably priced.

It was fantastic. I called Ray at 8:30 a.m. on a Saturday and he was here at noon. It's 12:49 and it's all gone! Ray and his crew were so friendly, efficient, polite, put me at my ease and didn't make me feel guilty for the pile of junk. It was warming to hear Ray thanking his crew for good work; he is a real gentleman and so were his helpers. This is a service I will recommend to friends and neighbors, and certainly will use again!

Great! My experience was totally consistent with all the great reviews Ray Foley has already received. If you need a hauling service and live within his area then I suggest you call him if you are looking for 1st class service at a fair price and want to feel good about the experience. I do not think I need to say more other then I would not hesitate for a moment to use this company again!

This is the third time I've used Ray and son.As usual he was fast,and thorough. In a very short time they had cleared all the wood from a dismantled shed into their trucks. They separate wood metal plastic which is a good thing. Very reliable and pleasant.

Wonderful they showed up on time were done in under 45 minutes I was really impressed. Ray even noticed there was a fence post that need to be dug out and did that as well which was a huge help fixing our old fence, just because I needed the help.

Ray's Hauling represents the peak of professionalism. I had spent quite a bit of time removing unneeded items from my storage shed, and decided to hire someone to haul it off. I called Ray on a Saturday. He was able to come out that Sunday morning. When he arrived - early - he called me from his truck to advise me he was here, explaining he doesn't like to be late. In our conversation the previous day I indicated I was wiling to help load stuff onto his truck if that would save labor. After looking over my junk pile, Ray advised me what I thought was a reasonable flat rate for his services, on top of which was what he projected as the expected dump fee. We chatted amiably about his quote for the dump fee, and he willingly adjusted it for me. That prompted me to be more than willing to toss a few heavier items into my trash can to save him weight. Ray was friendly and we had a nice chat as we loaded his truck. A few days later I received in the mail from him a nice note thanking me for his business. Who does that anymore? It was a wonderful experience.

It was good. It was not very complete but they answered when I called him and hauled away my stuff. The staff is very courteous and professional.

Ray and son were personable, punctual, and thoughtful. They advised on donating items that could be reused, recycling, and disposing of the rest. This was just what we needed.

It was super fast and efficient! I felt at ease with the father and son team. He also found a live salamander at the bottom of our junk pile. He picked it up and we put it in a safe location. : )

I called Ray on a Friday, he came over to give an estimate on Sunday morning, and the hot tub was gone by noon. He worked so fast and had that hot tub cut up and in the back of his truck very quickly. He worked alone although I understand he often has his son working with him too. We were very pleased with Ray's work ethic and promptness in coming here to give us an estimate. We would definitely hire him again.

Ray and his helper were punctual, courteous, and very efficient.

We recently bought a new house and, as is often the case, the former owners had left items on the property that we didn't want. One such item was a basketball hoop that had been sunk into the ground next to the driveway and cemented in. I called one guy who said he'd haul it if I could dig it out (um... I don't think so!) and another guy who was going to charge me a crazy amount of money to even come out to the house to even see if he could do it! I should have just called Ray first, given his stellar record here on Angie's List. I called him one morning and he picked his phone up immediately instead of routing me to a voicemail (something I really appreciated!). He was very polite and helpful and said he could come out to the house that day to look at the items and to give me a quote. He and his son came over a few hours later and very quickly came up with a good plan to remove the hoop, as well as other items I wanted hauled away. They came back 2 days later to finish up the job. They did such a great job with the basketball hoop. Not only did they did it out, but they refilled the hole and put down landscaping gravel to match the existing gravel. You can't even tell there was ever anything there before!! I'm sure that I'll be using Ray again in the future to haul more stuff away. He is a great guy.

Everything was great. We absolutely will use Ray again. I called him on Friday afternoon and he was here Saturday morning promptly with his son. The TV was an older model HD TV and was VERY HEAVY. The washer was a typical size and weight. They got it on to their truck with no problems. They were so nice, and so professional and got the job done quickly. We've used other services before but after this experience we will be repeat customers. Highly recommend!

Ray contacted me within hours of me sending a message via the Angie's List email tool. He came over that day to look at the job and gave me a day and time when he could be here to do the work. His cost estimate was fair, and after seeing the amount of work it took him and his son to actually accomplish the job, I felt it was more than fair. I didn't think they would be able to take a large chunk of concrete, but Ray found a way to break it up. I was very happy to have that thing gone! Ray is super diligent and responsive. He really wanted me to be happy and did whatever it took to make me glad I called him. He even was able to get a dead branch out of the large fir tree next to the work area. I was impressed with their capability to do most sorts of jobs too. He and his son have two big trucks and a track-hoe (or something like that), so they were able to take two loads at once. He was great about making sure to keep the recyclable stuff separate so he could take it to a recycle center. I appreciated that a lot, because much of the load was just dirt and rocks. If you call Ray, you will not be disappointed.

I called Ray's Hauling based on the good reviews he had gotten and the fact that a lot of them were from my area; there was also a 10% off coupon for Angie's List members. He offered to come the same day. He came, loaded a heavy roll of old carpet and many smaller things into his truck to haul away. The cost was more than it would usually have been because I had a lot of cans of paint, which have to be disposed of separately. I was very pleased with the quick and efficient service, and .it's my understanding that he recycles all of the things that can be reused in some way.

They were extremely flexible with their scheduling, they came exactly when promised, they showed up ready to work hard and make sure I was completely happy and got my moneys worth for their servers. They are GREAT!!! When they left I was so happy to be rid of so many things. There were some urgent items to remove and some others that oculd be removed later. I didn't have time to organize and set aside everything, it didn't matter they went and collected it all from around the yard for me!! They worked so hard and so happily. They were very proud of their work and doing it right. Nothing was damaged despite alot of movement and heavy items.
