Contacted the company by email and phone Feb 2021 and scheduled service for Spring. In March, was told service would be scheduled in April. In April, was told service would be in May. End of May, contacted company again, who said they're looking to hire a guy for aeration and "our new and anxious aeration sites". Giant waste of my time.

I called in, explained my landscape project (plant some trees, update a woodchip path, etc.) and they said they could work on it, but the first available time would be 3 weeks out. I scheduled and sent out documents describing the trees to be planted, location, etc. After we waited 3+ weeks, the day before we met, Adam Dean, the Seattle Operators Manager for this company sent me an e-mail saying they ' would pass ' because the work was 'a bit out of scope of what they do' .... I asked him what in the project they couldn't so, maybe I could hire them only for a portion of the job... and the answer was a sharp "We are going to pass on this project." ... Typically good companies would at least explain why and/or give a referral for someone that would do the work etc. This company doesn't seem to care.

We have been using Prograss for about a year. They do our lawn maintenance, cleanup, pruning, and sprinkler maintenance. We are happy with their work. They are professional and very responsive to our needs.

About what was expected but I had hoped for a little more "extra" here and there without asking just to make make me feel better. Two men came over on an unexpected day and did most of the work except for the ramp, but they didn't seem to have their heart in it...just doing the job. The main contact man came by and is better to deal with. All in all, okay, but they did a better job last year or so when they came. I might hire again, but would look around a bit before I called them.

Went great. Have & will hire again. Saw & repaired some problem sprinkler heads.

I have a lot of construction going on in the property that sold behind me. There were a lot of trees and evidently they had rats. I knew that once they started clearing the rats were going to be coming my way -- they certainly did. Because I had a lot of hanging baskets I would water them daily and I saw rat poop up on my front porch railing and up on the wall. I mentioned this when Kelly was out when he was out doing weed control and fertilization. He told me they had pest control and they could get rid of the spiders and insects. I told him I saw some ants outside. So he was going to put me on that. So he came out with the rat traps -- the big black boxes where they crawl in. He put them in two locations He put poison in those little traps on 8/21/2017. It seems to be working. I have never had the pest control so I don't know what other companies charge.

They do different stuff. They come out once a month and it is just the lawn care. It is very good. Kelly White is the person that comes out. If he catches me at home then we go over things, but if I am not home then they just do their job and hang the involce from on what they have done on the front door. If I needed anything I can always call or email him and he responds right back. I feel the price monthly is very good because I don't have to get out and do it. Plus when I did it myself the cost of the weed and feed after you buy the bags and every thing it is more than $43 plus the labor. He does a good job. He also does the rodent and pest control like spraying for spiders and bugs. He just comes. I am on a monthly schedule with them.

The guy that did the pruning was excellent because he said he tried to leave me buds. I said thank you so I can have flowers. He trimmed them up really nicely because they were just getting too large. That's a lot of work, picking up those things and the trimming and stuff. They cleaned up after themselves, hauled everything away and they did a good job. I was here while he was doing it so one of the guys would always come and ask me what I wanted done with the various things I had in my yard. For the amount of work that they did, because landscaping, even digging it up is expensive.

I hope with this post, I save someone else the time, money and dissatisfaction that I have endured. I would never hire this company again even if they were the only company available! Not only were they slow to respond or never did, they did not do what was asked. I told them when the estimator came out, specifically what I wanted to be done. They have come out twice now to complete the original task that SHOULD have been completed the first time out and they are still not done. This was not cheap either - the bill was for $1100.00 for the entire project - which still has not been completed. I have gotten lame excuses that the right tools were not brought out and they would be back. HA! How can a landscape company come out, knowing what had to be done and not have the right tools? The customer service phone line did not work and it took up to 4 days for a reply to my email. The customer service line was not working for a good 3 weeks. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO BUILD A BUSINESS. Another thought. They did come out eventually to rectify this but they did [seemed to me] try to cover up the moss removal I had asked for but was not done. The estimate was done the first part of June and here it is in August! FYI.

I wasn't all that pleased with that service and maybe I didn't know what the service was supposed to do. Whatever the process was that they did it turned my lawn black. I only had them out one time. The pricing was fine. I wasn't home, it was just the service that they did.

Prograss gave me a great price and rheir work is terrific. I would definitely recommend them.

They were very nice to work with. We were very pleased. They were very responsive. They did everything they said they'd do. They were very good. I thought it was a fair price. They were very responsive when we asked them questions, when we told them that we just felt it was too wet to seed so they told us to call them when we felt our yard was ready. Because we live in a very wet area. Then they made an appointment and came on time. We'd expected that they'd probably do followup but we didn't hear from them again.

It was not great but okay. They should kill the moss. I called them since the moss didn't die and they said they would send somebody back out but they never did. I had used them again to aerate the grass. I said, "Hey guys, you never came back and kill the moss. Could you do that while you're here?" They've also never called for any follow-up. I had to quote to them that they had given me a different quote on the written statement for the aerating. Finally, they honored the estimate that the guy did when he was here and killed the moss. I like to be on-site when work is done on my property and they couldn't accommodate that. They should have accommodated my schedule.

ProGrass was scheduled to come to my house to turn the sprinkler on and gave a 2 hour window when they'd at my house. I received an email confirmation from them the day before and spoke to their scheduling person a few days before to confirm as well. They simply never showed up. I called multiple times during the 2 hour window and left them voice messages but they never called me back. I finally got Monty, the supervisor, to call me and he started by telling me that the appointment was never confirmed despite the email I have from their office they day before saying it was confirmed. When I told him that I had that email he then changed his story and said his technician was out sick. I asked why he didn't just tell me that in the beginning of the conversation and why didn't the office call to tell me that when he called in sick and he said the woman in his office was also out sick (but I knew that was not true because I spoke to another woman in his office that morning who told me that woman was there). He finally offered to come another day and give me a small discount but I would never use this company again. I doubt they'd even show up the next time.

I got the quote the morning of 3/31/16 from Kelly and they scheduled the work to be done on Friday, April 8th. I realized the proposal didn't included trimming shrubs and things like that an emailed to find out if it was included or if I needed another quote. It wasn't included so I asked for a quote which I never received which is actually good all things considering. I got home Friday and they had been there and mowed the lawn and taken a first crack and reestablishing the edges. They'd hauled off some debris, but the flower beds had not been touched significantly. I emailed on Friday saying it looked like they needed more time and asked when they would be back. Adam replied Monday the 11th saying it would be toward the end of that week. Adam said in the email he would try and come out to see how much work was left that day. Tuesday the 12th I emailed asking for an update and reminded them I had agreed to pay extra for the work to be done sooner. Adam replied the next day saying they would be out again on Thursday the 14th to "finish this up." A crew did come out again on Thursday and the only work that appeared to be done was for them to use a weed whacker to chop the tops off of the weeds instead of "clearing beds of weeds" as was written in the proposal. I sent a mail again on Saturday the 16th since that was the first time I was able to see the yard in the daylight to see what had been done. I sent them pictures of the current state of the yard. I asked them to tell me if they weren't able to complete the work by the end of the week so I could hire someone else. On Monday the 18th, Adam replied: "Kelly is going to stop by today and take a look at what is still needed to get done. I can have some guys finish it up tomorrow or Wednesday, we will make it right. Sorry for the confusion." I emailed again on the 20th to let them know the work still wasn't complete. The adjusted the price down to $900 after I pointed out the unreasonableness of charging me extra to get the job done sooner and then it drag out for weeks. Kelly replied on the 21st with this: "I have found out we will have a crew out on monday. This unfortunately will be the last time I can get a crew out. I wad way under on my bid versus the amount of time we have spent on the property. Even at the original bid for $1100 we are under 50% of where it should have been. This is my error. I am going to check in the week after next to reapply to the beds in front and back to help get rid of weeds. I would also be more than happy to do a fertilizer and weed control for the lawn to increase its appearance. I apologize for not being able to get more done than that but I will do at least 2 more sprays of the beds 2-3 weeks apart." I suspected that this was the case since they were clearly prioritizing other work. I accepted this offer, even though I wasn't very happy with things. Come Monday the 25th someone appears to have come out and spread weed control, but not done any additional work beyond that. It was certainly my expectation given Kelly's mail that the crew would spend another day working on the yard and it clearly didn't happen. I email Kelly tonight and asked his company not to return as I would be hiring someone else. I'm really surprised at how non-existent their follow-up has been. I've had to contact them each time to let them know the work hasn't been completed. I'm sure they are busy and they generally have good reviews, but my experience has not been positive. They all seem like nice, reasonable people, but they did not follow through here, even when I was willing to work with them. Adam promised to "make it right" and that didn't happen so I'm giving them a F.

I was very excited to work with Prograss since they offered the services that I wanted as well as online billing and payment options I am looking for. I initially contacted them after hours on 4/19/2016 and was pleasantly surprised when I received a response from them shortly after 7:00 am the next day, Wednesday, 4/20/2016. I was told by Ken Christopherson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, that a representative would be contacting me on Thursday, 4/21/2016. Needless to say that I was not contacted by anyone. At the end of the day on Thursday I sent a follow up email to Ken to let him know that a representative had not contacted me. It is now the end of the day on Friday, 4/22/2016, and I have not received a response from, or been contacted by, anyone from Prograss. To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement.

It turned out pretty good. He did a great job on the thatching and on the aerating. But, the lawn hasn't had a chance to come up yet. He worked really hard and was a good guy. There were no other charges.

The representative was on time, called ahead to confirm, promptly started and completed the application and made recommendations and answered my questions.

Kelly was prompt and courteous.

not good. Expected to get my lawn fertilized and sprayed with moss killer. Prograss emailed me telling me Arlington was out of there area.

Everything went just as hoped for! Our front yard needs a little service, but our back yard is in great distress because of our dogs. It was recommended that we consider a new type of artificial turf, which we would truly like to see. We are eager to learn about alternatives so our dogs can play and so can our grand-chilldren!

Called and scheduled the appt. They were responsive and prompt. very goood service. Will likely use them to get the sprinkler system set up in the spring.

They only thing I didn't like was they are trying to sell me something for more money for them. I had an older system and they said that it had to be submitted with the city, which was what they are trying to sell. I'll just see them in Spring if everything works fine. I assume it will. He got all the water out of every station. I just didn't see like he knew as much about the system as I thought he would but he had never been to my home or looked at the system before. They came last end of October. It was a one time thing. I'd use them again.

Out of the 5 bids I obtained from different contractors, they were the most reasonably priced and most importantly took the time provide me a thorough bid. A crew of 3 guys showed up on time on the scheduled day and Adam came out as well. The job took 3 days, they left the area clean and checked in with me throughout to ensure it was progressing as I wanted.
