Kent was wonderful! He immediately let me know what his availability was like and put me on a waiting list and he kept in touch with me since the day I contacted him. I decided to wait for his availability since his Angie's list rating was so strong, he was local and he was just so awesomely professional. He happened to have an opening a week or so later and squeezed me in much sooner than I expected. Kent was on time for our early morning appointment and we immediately reviewed at all of the projects I wanted to get done that day. Not only did he complete all the projects well within what I expected to pay, he was very thorough in helping me understand the circuit work in my older home, made recommendations for how to deal with outdoor lighting options--which he advised I could take care of on my own at a big savings, and updated the mapping of my home circuitry on my fuse panel. I had to get to work later that afternoon and Kent paid special attention to make sure he was completed with his work well within enough time for me to get to work. I would absolutely without hesitation recommend Kent. Years of experience, care for his work, professionalism, and he's just a really nice guy. Thank you so much Kent. I enjoyed meeting you and really love the work you completed for me.

I fount Kent on Angie's List, called him and left a voice message. Kent soon called me back and came out to see the scope of work within a few days. On this first visit, he quickly found the problem with two existing light fixtures and brought forward a relatively easy solution to make them operable again. One required a new starter and the other involved some rewiring. He then gave me some good advice on selecting fixtures for two outside light fixtures and we agreed to meet again after I had purchased them. Once acquired, he came out within a couple of days and installed them. I appreciated how he zoomed in on getting each of these jobs accomplished efficiently. It wasn't a big job, but enough for him to gain my trust and to recommend him highly.

Kent was professional, prompt, and really knows his stuff! I was able to do a bit of the "shopping" myself, and saved a few dollars that way, although he would have done it all if I had preferred that.I am recommending Kent to my daughter and son-in-law for some work they need to have done, and I'm sure we will be calling him again.

wI had been noticing our interior entrance light fixture flickering occasionally. I checked the light bulbs in the fixture and all seemed tight and turned off the power at the breaker box to further check the light sockets to make sure they were secure in the fixture. They seemed fine so on to the wall switch to inspect that, also looked good. I turned the power back on everything seemed to be working ok and then left the house for some time. When I returned I noticed a lamp on a timer on the same circuit was not on and tried the switch for the entrance light and no lights. I checked the breaker it had not tripped, cycled it but still not lights. I checked Angies list in the morning for a local electrician and found Kent at NW Sound Electric. Kent asked me if the following day would be soon enough, gave me an estimate of cost and we made an appointment for the next morning. Kent arrived early in the time frame he gave me and I reported on what steps I had already taken. Kent checked the breaker which appeared to be ok. He switched the breaker back on and we checked the lights and they were operating. Good, but not so good when trying to find an electrical problem. He was about to check the light switch when the light began to flicker, back to the breaker box to check that breaker one more time. While checking the wires to the breaker he notice a glow from the neutral wire at the bus bar and discovered the screw holding the neutral wire for that circuit was not tight. Approximately one and a half inches of insulation had burned away over time. Kent replaced the damaged portion of wire, moved the wire to a vacant position on the bar and checked all the other breaker connections in the box. The circuit was restored and is now operating properly. While he was here I also had him replace an old defective wall plug. Kent was very easy to work with, explained what he was doing as he went along and gave me some suggestions on a future project I have in mind. A very good experience working with Kent and will definitely use him again when I need an electrician.

Kent came by, took a look at each of the problems I was having and, one by one, took care of them. They were simple issues but things that required a bit of expertise and understanding to resolve in the simplest and least costly fashion. Kent not only did that but also informed me of what he was doing and why, which could help me in resolving similar issues in the future. Kent is very down to earth and it was very pleasant having him in to do the work. I wholeheartedly recommend him for electrical work about the house. Price was right and the work done well.

From the first phone call, Kent of Northwest Sound Electric, was professional and organized. His knowledge and experience were evident as he tackled older electrical boxes and complex wiring to install several new lights. There is no doubt that he is an expert in his field, but the standout feature is his ability to listen to and work with the customer. The result made a 100% difference in my home and I was absolutely thrilled that he took a challenging situation and made it seem easy! Kent was a joy to work with. He showed up exactly when he said he would every day. He took the time to explain problems he found as he worked. I loved the fact that he protected all areas of the house where he was working and cleaned up after he was done every day. Overall, we are extremely happy with all the work he did and plan on having him come back in the summer to help us add some outside wiring (not low voltage). I highy recommend Kent for any electrical work you need done.

He was on time, great to talk with and really knows his field. Kent's responce time was very quick. Kent is knowledgable and I felt an immediate feeling of trust that his work and work ethics would be flawless. I do not know if his price was good. I did not pay for other estimates. It seems that every electrician charges an estimate fee or travel time fee.

The guy's name was Kent. He was really good. I was real happy and he did the work really well. He knew everything about electrical work. He was a super guy and I would use him again.

Kent came on time, efficiently did his work and was very professional. He was easy to have around and very knowledgeable about his profession. He advised us as needed but also worked closely with us to do exactly what we wanted. He was very aware of keeping everything protected and clean in our home. Northwest Sound Electric has been in business for a long time and we will definatly use them again. He came out and saw what we were wanting done, gave us an estimate in a timely fashion via e-mail. Kent gave us a very detailed bid, and his bid was comparable to the other bid we received (although slightly higher). We felt he understood the job completely and spent a lot of time going over the options for fixtures with us. He arrived promptly as scheduled and was very patient and considerate in helping me decide exact placement for the canned lights. Once that decision was made, he went to work and was careful to protect furniture and living space. The job was completed beautifully with no damage to drywall anywhere (ceiling or walls). The results were exactly as we envisioned. We will definitely contact Kent for any future electrical needs.

The electrician that came out was Kent. We felt very comfortable with him. We felt he seemed to know what he was doing. We had a lot of confidence in his work. The work was done really well as far as we can tell. He was very communicative through the whole process. He saw a few issues come up and address them right away and asked what we wanted to do about them. He came in on budget. He took a little longer than anticipated but that wasn't a big deal for us. I would say they do good work for a fair price, and that they are trustworthy. We plan to be doing some more electrical work in the future, we will probably give them a call again.

Kent responded very promptly and did the work quickly and professionally at a reasonable price. He went out of his way to do extra tasks to improve our wiring setup. I can't recommend him more highly.

I (and other family members) have used Kent's services on many occasions in the past. As usual, he was prompt and full of advice. He redid my wiring and tried a few other things and got it fixed. Even crawled up in the attic to reroute the house wire to allow more wiring length at the lamp site. It had gotten so short over the years that the ground wire connection was dubious. I always appreciate Kent taking the time to explain things. I've learned a lot from him over the years. He is always very meticulous. And to top it all off, he didn't charge me for this visit. What a guy!

Outstanding results! Kent is a true professional in his field -- great expertise & skills; always punctual & very responsive plus super pleasant. Good problem solver. Gave great advice on placement for lights & outlets as well as products. He recommended under cabinet lighting which we hadn't considered & it's one of the best parts of the kitchen. We're also glad dimmers were added as he suggested. Thanks to Kent we have wonderful lighting for cooking & other tasks & also enjoy soft, accent lighting "after hours" in our remodeled kitchen. I am competent in all things electric, but I was stymied. I have never had to call an electrician befor in 40 years of home ownership, so I was reluctant to call one this time, but unable to figure out why my breaker kept I called Kent. He returned my call promptly and asked me a couple of questions that led me to the answer and I was able to fix it myself. His help was very professional, extremely helpful and best of all he did not charge me. If I am ever in need of an actual repair by an electrician he is definitely the one I will call.

Kent quickly responded to my first call after I left a voicemail. I explained that the garage freezer and refrigerator were on the same circuit as the outside outlets and when we put Christmas lights in the yard it would overload and trip the GFI. I was anxious to get this resolved quickly so we could put up the holiday lights. He was honest about his lead time being out a couple of weeks and requested to get back to me when he would have a better idea of his availability. He actually phoned back sooner than that and we set up a time for him to come out for an estimate. He was on time, professional, and I was impressed with his knowledge and suggestions. His estimate was returned quickly and once we accepted he scheduled our job within 2 days. On the day of work he was right on time and his work was excellent. Plus he is a really nice guy who shared his extensive electrical knowledge in response to our questions. We would definitely call him again for electrical work and will recommend him to friends and neighbors who might need an electrician in the future.

Kent responded to my call within an hour. He even provided some advice of things to try over the phone, so if it was something easy to fix the lights, he wouldn't have to charge me for the call. He came on time, quickly identified and fixed the problem and came back and installed the new lights to complete the job. We'd definitely hire him again.

Kent arrived right on time and was very professional in getting the old fan taken down and the new one installed in very short order. He was quick and efficient in doing the job as well as being very friendly. I will definitely be calling him the next time I need electrical work to be done.

Kent came over to our house and carefully reviewed the list of issues and looked at the areas in the electrical system that had been called out. He gave us an approximate cost because he works on a time and materials basis. He performed all of the work and his bill was at the low end of his estimate. He also did some additional work at our behest to correct issues that had not been called out, but that could cause problems (electrical shorts, fires, etc.) in the future. Interestingly, before putting our house on the market, we hired a different electrician to go through and fix anything that needed to be addressed. He obviously missed a bunch of stuff.

Excellent service. Kent is a great guy and I have already given his business card to a friend. Kent is extremely knowledgeable and goes right to work. He came back the next day to readjust the flood light so it was hitting the right "spots". A++ for Northwest Sound Electric!

The guy who owns the company came out and helped me fix something for free. He did all the work in a good amount of time. He wasn’t the cheapest out of all. I thought that I could trust him and his work was of high quality.

Showed up on time and completed the work per his estimate. Kent was professional and I am very satisfied with the results.
