We hired Keystone to remodel our kitchen and the experience was wonderful. We decided to start a kitchen remodel during the third trimester of my pregnancy. It was not the best decision, but Keystone made the entire process seamless and they were not only on time but ahead of schedule. Chris W., the owner of the company, was able to work around our busy schedule during the initial design stage. He was easy to communicate with and we love his design. Chris was also able to work with us on our budget. Jeff was our assigned project manager, his craftsmanship was top notch. He was able to solve all the problems we had during the remodel and kept my stress level to a minimum. In fact, the nine weeks remodel went by fast. Jeff communicated well and schedule all the subcontractors for our other remodel projects. He made sure the remodel was moving forward every day and that the subcontractors were on time and sticking to their timelines. The subcontractors that Keystone recommended for us were equally professional ( we worked with their recommended painters, electricians, and flooring company). In addition, we also worked with Sean, a keystone employee, that was often here at our home to lend a helping hand to Jeff. My husband and I love the end result of our kitchen and we will definitely hire them again. Lastly, his bid for the project was fairly priced and came below compared to other competitors without sacrificing the workmanship.

we did a complete kitchen remodel with keystone. Jeff was our project manager and it was a great experience. Everything went as per plan. Our project manager Jeff communicated well and looked into all the minor details. He was available through out the project and looked into all our concerns during an after the project, we are very satisfied with Keystone and would definitely go back to them for our future projects.

Overall the project went very well. I found all the Keystone people to be helpful. Dennis Delaney with design ideas, Susan Wittenbrook with tile selections, Chris Ball as the project manager and Bill Bevan as the actual on-site person doing the work. Bill was very patient and pleasant, always willing to explain the process to me and make helpful suggestions. The only issue I had with the overall process was the time it took to complete. It started Nov 27th and the final fix was completed Feb 3rd. The estimated time was 7 weeks. However, there were some mitigating circumstances, e.g. the job was during the holiday season and involved coordinating with a flooring contractor. But I am very happy with the end result as the kitchen is amazing!

There is a total lack of communication within this company. Our project was a fairly simple kitchen upgrade with no major construction. There were many errors that delayed the project due to constant miscommunication between employees within the company. The cabinets themselves are nice but nothing special. They are made of plywood with wooden veneer finish. Be prepared to inspected cabinets and doors carefully! We had 7 cabinet doors and several drawers that did not fit correctly that needed to be replaced. They will install them and they will not be replaced until after final inspection by the owner. After that it still took a month to get everything finished up. Our project was projected to take 6 weeks and by the time it was completely done it was a total of 5 months! Our project manager/carpenter, Matt was on time, great at keeping us informed, and the installation of the cabinets he did is beautiful. We are very happy with the job he has done. You can tell he takes great pride in his work. As for Matt, I would give a "A" but for the rest of the company a "C'' is appropriate.

Hi! Thanks for the honest feedback. I do admit that we had more than a few problems with communication between our project planner, shop and installation team on your project. It has been a few months since we completed this project and since then we have been through some staffing reorganization to improve project planning. In addition, we are inspecting parts more carefully before they are delivered so any imperfect cabinet doors are caught early on. We stand behind our work and the final product 100 percent. If any issue arises, please let us know. ~Chris Wittenbrink

Overall, we couldn't be happier. Borr, did an awesome job designing our kitchen to our needs and was very helpful. Our installer Wayne did an amazing job and was extremely professional. He did mind us asking question and was always very polite. You can tell that is very skilled and had an attention to detail. For example, when our countertops were installed they were all wrong but I didn't know about it. Wayne, immediately caught the issue and had it resolved and I didn't have to worry about a thing! I couldn't be more pleased.

We did a complete kitchen remodel, including taking out a structural wall and moving plumbing and electrical. The quality of the cabinets can't be beat. They will customize any cabinet style, size and even customized the stain color. Everyone we dealt with along the way (except one employee who no longer works there) was thoughtful about our needs and applied their expertise to help us make the best choices. We highly recommend working with Jada Lee as a designer. She figured out our style perfectly, was honest about costs, patient and even went shopping for tile and granite with us. The installers/onsite guys - Jim and Bill - were careful, smart craftsmen and worked around any little problems. Sean, the cabinet maker lead, gave us great advice on what type of handles/closing mechanisms to use. Having the cabinets made locally is a big bonus if something isn't quite right plus you can go see them in the process. The subcontractors Keystone uses for electrical and the ones they recommend for tile and granite fabrication are excellent as well. We started working on a bid from a general contractor but got frustrated with all the overhead and miscellaneous stuff added to the contract. We are certain we got much higher quality for the same overall price with Keystone and enjoyed working with there entire team. Plus Keystone let us choose what we wanted to do (demo, painting, drywall) without any problems. The one employee we had difficulty with was the "cabinet engineer" who made a lot of mistakes was let go midway through our project which tells us the owner, Chris, cares about quality and professionalism. As with any remodel project, the finishing punch list stuff took a few weeks to get through but Keystone was always in communication with us and didn't take final payment until everything was done to our satisfaction. We love our new kitchen!

We did a full kitchen remodel this summer with Keystone Kitchens. The finished product is amazing. We love our kitchen! Jeff was our project manager and was great. He paid an insane amount of attention to detail and he explained well what he was doing and was clear on expectations. My only issue was communication from Keystone before the construction began. I would have appreciated if someone had let us know when we would expect to receive communication about our upcoming project and by whom. Also, it wasn't always clear at the beginning with the add ons we choose, what our current balance was and how much was due and when. But I was able to speak with the owner Chris about my concerns and he was very helpful and attentive.

Results are beautiful, especially the custom finish on the cabinetry. The finish expert worked well with us n spite of our lack of terminology. The sales rep was responsive and the transition to the Engineer worked well. We appreciated Susan's help with design decisions. Our installation carpenter was very detailed and communicated well. We also had a great experience with our tile guy. We had a little hiccup with design communications with the various parties involved with the tile application but Keystone made good on any issues. Our project finished a little early. We did most of the prep work - removed a wall and cabinetry, had a new hardwood floor installed, redid electrical. Keystone was very willing to work within our parameters, budget and abilities. They do quality work, were reliable and responsive.

Kudos to everyone involved in our kitchen remodel. Dennis Delaney's creative design convinced us to contract with Keystone. The projected cost was reasonable and the most competitive of all the contractors we consulted. Also attractive was the fact that Keystone employs all their subcontractors. Bror Lawrence, the project engineer, was meticulous and responsive. Both Dennis and Bror came to our home on several occasions, accommodating to our schedule, not their own. At the showroom, Susan helped us to hone in on our cabinet design/color, and pointed out quartz countertop and backsplash tile that would complement the cabinets. We were referred to Builder's Supply for a wide selection of cabinet pulls. Craig, our project lead and craftsman extraordinaire became a part of the family. He communicated almost daily via text, and arranged to stay late to review some decisions with us. The tile and countertop installers did an amazing job. A working chimney which was exposed, posed challenges for the backsplash and the cabinetry--both problems were solved beautifully. We wanted to preserve our existing ceramic tile floor, which required patching. Again, great work! There were a few timing challenges as we needed the project to be completed by the time of a planned family wedding. That involved shuffling Keystone's work and the separate painting contractor. It all worked out in the end, but there were a few anxious days. A number of "punch list" items extended the final completion date, but Keystone staff made sure that we were satisfied with the final product. Chris's walkthrough was so thorough--he saw many small things we didn't even notice needed attention. Our new kitchen is a dream come true. We couldn't be more satisfied with the work that Keystone did. The five year guarantee is a bonus. We highly recommend this company.

This went pretty poorly. They had a 6 week lead time, which was no problem since we scheduled 8 weeks in advance, and they still couldn't meet the deadline. I was called a week before they were to come out to ask if they could postpone one day (to Tuesday) so that they could have all the parts in and make sure it was a 1 day job. I agreed though it required moving our schedule around. Pretty inconvenient but nothing drastic. On Tuesday they came out and cut support beams under the stairs and were there for all of 2 hours and then left. The installer said he'd be back the next day to finish the job. You were there for 2 hours, why not finish the job that day? On Wednesday, they didn't show up. I called the Project Manager and he found out that the installer had never stopped by the shop to grab the cabinets. 2 hours later he lets me know they will be out on Thursday to for sure finish the job and oh gosh he's just so sorry. Thursday comes and the installer shows up again. We find out that the cabinet was made incorrectly so it does not fit in the hole that was cut out for it. The installer spends most of the day "adjusting" the cabinet on the lawn and finally gets it installed but doesn't have the drawers or doors with him. He'll be back tomorrow to get it done. Friday, day 4 of this ONE DAY PROJECT, and the Installer finally gets the drawers in, the doors on, the handles attached, and the trim on. He takes his own sweet time about it but it's finally done. Sadly, the trim was attached poorly so it doesn't line up in the top right corner and the drawers can't be opened at the same time because they run into each other. It looks pretty enough when closed apart from the messed up trim but this whole thing was a debacle.
Description of Work: Keystone cabinets crafted a custom cabinet to fit in under our front staircase. These were 30" deep with drawers on bottom and standard cabinet (at angle) on top. Keystone installed the cabinets and adjusted support beams under the stairs as needed.

First, I have to apologize for how poorly this project went in to begin with. We have subsequently followed up with a site visit and rectified the installation issues. The original installer has been put on probation as this is a first offense but he will have to show us that he can be dependable and efficient with time and communication. We have built a reputation for quality and performing in a reasonable time frame and any negative feedback is taken very seriously. Thanks again for your business and honest review. We will always work to improve our system and our staffing of highly qualified and experienced craftsmen.

I’ve been wanting to remodel my kitchen since I bought my house 6 years ago and having finally finished the rest of my remodeling projects, it was time! Over the last six years, I’ve worked with a few different general contractors and subs to finish the laundry room, gut and remodel two bathrooms, replace the main electrical panel, install a tankless water heater, paint the entire interior and exterior of the home, and completely landscape both the front and back of the house – to include water feature, new deck, retaining walls etc. I am not a stranger to managing large remodel projects. My house is a mid-century rambler and I had a pretty clear vision of what I wanted style-wise for the kitchen, although I was on the fence about some specific material choices. Working with Keystone began in early October with a phone conversation with my assigned designer, Jada Lee. She asked a lot of great questions so that when she came out for a meeting at my house to look at the space, she could bring material samples and be as prepared as possible. The entire design process was great – it was nice to have someone with a similar design aesthetic to bounce ideas off of and our very first face to face meeting, the samples were perfect and we were able to choose materials within the hour. Jada really listened to what I was looking for. Once we had a basic plan, bid and contract, we moved to the engineering phase. This is when Bror Lawrence became part of the project – he came in to take exact measurements and basically be a reality check to make sure we could incorporate everything Jada and I dreamed up. Turns out we were able to fit everything we dreamed up, but did have to modify a cabinet or two. I was a little concerned at the start of the process because most of Keystones portfolio is comprised of pretty traditional style kitchens and I wanted modern European style, but both Jada and Bror really understood what I was looking for and between them had experience with the unique internal cabinetry components/systems I wanted to use, so my fears were put to rest. I was put on the schedule to start demo 1/25, which was slated for a week, with the next week and a half off so that my flooring guy could come in, install new hardwoods in the kitchen and refinish all the floors upstairs so everything was seamless. The week prior to start I spoke with Jim Engelstad, who was assigned to manage the project from the office side. He made sure I had all his contact information and that I knew I could contact him at any time with any questions/issues. On demo day Jim came out and at that time I was introduced to Jeff Hockenson who was onsite managing and working on my project from start to finish. He was there every day there was work to be done – either on his own or on occasion with someone else from the shop to help with things that required two people, or there to manage a sub. Jeff was amazing to work with!!!! Throughout the project he took great care of my home. We would chat for a bit in the mornings about what was on deck for the day or any issues that had come up and then I’d leave for work. When I got home, everything was always cleaned up, tools put away, floors swept and the house locked up tight. He was thorough and committed to managing expectations and communications. I always knew what was on deck, what was in a holding pattern and why, and what issues there were. Special call out to Tom (I don’t know his last name) as well who was onsite on occasion to help with some installation and to meet with subs. In any remodel, not everything goes 100% according to plan – there are always unknowns. There were a few things that required scheduling changes, a change order or a complete change of plans - some because once we were looking at how something would really work, we decided it wasn’t the best way to do it or it didn’t work – custom cabinet pulls, I’m looking at you! In all cases – communication was excellent. Really the biggest frustration with the project was due to one of the subs. There were very minor issues with the countertops after they had been installed that needed to be fixed – the sub responsible for fixing the issues no-showed for a scheduled appointment at least 3 times and then when the guys did make it to the job (4 hours late), they didn’t fix the issues, didn’t follow instructions for proper repair of one of the issues and then when they were scheduled to come back out they no showed 2 more times. Finally the original installer made it out and fixed everything so the it all worked out in the end, but it was frustrating for both myself and I’m sure for Jeff and Tom who were stood up onsite several times after the project was pretty complete. I highly recommend Keystone Kitchens – if I ever need to remodel another kitchen, I would absolutely bring them in to do it!
Description of Work: Demoed and remodeled my kitchen.
We spend YEARS (literally) researching how we wanted to remodel our kitchen, and whom we could trust to do a good job. We knew we were going to take out a couple of walls and the recessed ceiling in the current kitchen, but we weren?t sure how we were going to do the floor layout. We wanted to deal with a company that would take responsibility for their work and stand behind it. We talked to over 25 companies and cabinetmakers before choosing Keystone Kitchens. A co-worker had used Keystone Kitchens, and was very pleased with their work. John Waddell came to our house, and gave us some suggestions for the floor layout and a price range. He told us how all their workers are employees of the company, not subcontractors, and they stand behind their work. (This was very important to us.) He didn?t pressure us to make a decision. (It was a month before we contacted John again.) In my book, he did everything right. He listened to what we wanted to do, made additional suggestions for us to think about, and let us know what we could do to stay in our price range. I am so glad we implemented his suggestions! To cut back on some of the costs, we decided to do the demo by removing two walls, removing the recessed ceiling, replacing damaged subflooring, and hang the sheetrock. We sublet the flooring, mudding and texture sheetrock, and the electrical. Keystone did the rest. There were a few frustrations with the Project Coordinator, who was supposed to be contacting us on different occasions, and would forget; and then wonder why we didn?t know things. The most frustrating point involved our granite countertops. When we met the design person at the granite store, they told us to pick out 2 slabs of granite for our project. We were lead to believe it was covered in our bid. (We had also asked the original bid to include high-end granite since we didn?t want any surprises.) After we picked it out, we were told if we want the design movement of the granite to be transparent, we would have to pay an additional $3000 for that second piece of granite we selected. I was not happy with this surprise, but we worked this out with the granite store. (The quality of their work was very impressive.) Keystone Kitchens did a great job on our kitchen. Our project manager, Bill Bevin, was fantastic. The quality of his work was amazing. He installed the cabinets to perfection along with the backsplash. When he installed our microwave in the in cabinet box, he commented that it just didn?t look right, so he built a picture frame trim kit and now it looks perfect. For the above range fan, he installed solid flue to the outside vent, making sure everything was sealed with no air leaks. Bill also completely sealed the floor and wall gaps, inside where the dishwasher is located, which prevents water going under the hardwood should the dishwasher ever leak. (This had happened to us before.) Our friends were also looking at doing a kitchen remodel so they were very closely listening to how ours was going. We love our new kitchen and couldn?t be any happier with the way it turned out. We credit most of this to Bill Bevin! He truly stands behind his work! And our friends also decided to go with Keystone Kitchens.
Keystone has been great to work with for our project. The designer, Dennis, made contact quickly and began to help provide the vision for our new kitchen -removing the 70s 'hide the kitchen' model completely. Then the decision making began with colors, cabinet door types, granite, backsplash, skylight, garden window - oh my! Once our demo day arrived we met our Master Builder Bill Bevan - who owned the project to completion. Bill has been fabulous to work with and shared his expertise in ways that made sense to us. While we were still making decisions on materials like granite, backsplash, garden window, skylight size, cabinet handles, etc., he was there to help us through the process -and still is today should we experience any hiccups with anything, thanks to the awesome warranty Keystone provides. The greatest part of using Keystone for our kitchen is little to no sub-contractor use - you only have Keystone employees in your house - and they happen to make their own cabinets locally. We expected to pay a bit higher price for the quality, continually communications, and lack of multiple sub-contractor use, well worth it in the end when they turned our new kitchen over to us in just shy of 7-weeks! Thank you Bill, Chris and the team at Keystone for our great kitchen -we look forward to enjoying it for quite some time!

Initially, we thought we'd need to bump out our kitchen to make it a workable space, but cost was too high to justify and we needed to try to work within the space we had. That's where Keystone came in. We met with Barbara, a designer, who immediately walked us through some creative solutions and knew we could make this a great kitchen. She was right! She drew up some layout options and we pretty quickly hammered out what we wanted to do. Even better, the bid was very reasonable. We loved working with her. A few months later, the remodel started with Robert at the onsite project manager. We couldn't recommend him highly enough. He had such a strong work ethic, great communication, and excellent attention to detail. He's very good at his job. The only hiccups were around communication with engineering and the contract, which resulted in some change orders. We recommend having the smallest details in writing, even if you think a discussion and what was written on the contract mean the same thing. It ended up not being a huge deal, more just an annoyance/worry at project start. Overall, though, we are thrilled with Keystone. They finished within a few days of their expected completion date (delay due to subcontractors, not them) and very close to bid amount. In the end, the punch list was minimal and it was completed within a few days - which seems pretty unheard of in this industry. The cabinets they made in-house are very high quality, the installation of everything was done beautifully, and we have a kitchen to be proud of. Thanks, Keystone team!
Description of Work: Completely gutted and remodeled the kitchen in our 1928 house.
These guys were awesome and I would use them again in a heartbeat! Jada Lee helped us put together a great design, she really listens to you and even meets you at granite warehouse, tile place and for the hardware to put together a great design. The master craftsman Bill Bevan was also awesome, he made some great suggestions and worked with us on the details. Bill keeps you informed and willing to make changes, I would recommend asking for Bill he is that good. Chris the owner comes out himself to do the final inspection. We absolutely love our new kitchen.
Description of Work: Kitchen remodel- gutted the kitchen raised the ceiling and replaced pantry, cabinet, countertops and flooring
The kitchen designer and project engineer were quite accommodating with various changes and getting the detailed contract that I wanted. The project Engineer had poor communication with other team members and with us. There were a lot of missing pieces and parts that should have been ordered and the drawings were incorrect to the shop. Another review mentions that they were given the heads up regarding when appliances were needed. Sadly Bror our project Engineer would tell at the last minute when things like hood range and microwave were needed and it all turned into stressful emergencies. He also had a lot of difficulty on several design challenges with our kitchen and we ended up solving it for him. Neither the Project Engineer or the designer told us that the refaced cabinet does not include the soft close drawers. We were told after the project was nearly complete that it was additional $250 per drawer. It would cost an extra $2000 to get soft close drawers. An exorbitant amount. We had three different installers on the first week on our job and the communication and hand off was poor. The final installer did not have focus on the job and installed a false door on the front of our breakfast bar crooked. Installed the wrong hinges on the bottom cabinets so none of the pullouts could be pulled out. He broke the dishwasher hinges and sloppy touchup painting. The second installer never told the third installer that we need supports for the granite on the breakfast bar and that turned into another emergency. The installer did do a few extra things including fixing an issue with the countertop and made our plumbing under the sink more efficient but broke the dishwasher in the process. They were responsive in fixing all the issues but still we have a false door on the breakfast bar that is cut crooked and a warped cabinet door.
Description of Work: Remodeled kitchen with mix of new custom built cabinets and some refaced cabinets. The end result was a not quite perfect beautiful white kitchen though the journey to get it was a difficult one. We expected a few things to go wrong, but there were far too many crises. There was lack of communication between Keystone team members with a lot of missing parts wrong parts. The installer was not focused and made a lot of errors, broke the dishwasher and did not follow through with other team members on resolving onsite issues. Which is his job. The price we paid did not match the quality and service we expected.

Thank you for your feedback. We constantly strive to provide quality work and a smooth installation, and it pains me to hear that one of our projects did not meet the high standards of service which we have set and have come to be known for. This honest review gives us an opportunity to redirect our attention to continued training in areas of planning and service, as well as how we respond to making corrections when a problem arises. the project started with a visit from Dennis the designer who was very helpful followed by a scheduled date for the project which was maintained throughout the project. Craig the contractor on site was very personable, experienced, and skilled. As usual with a remodel he was easy to work with and found many ways to work around and save money. The product delivered was top of the line especially the cabinets and counter top.
Description of Work: kitchen remodel including removal of wall between kitchen and dining room, and raising a lowered ceiling.
Each and every person we dealt with at Keystone was great. Every employee was professional, honest and competent. The actual installation was done by Robert, and we could not have been happier him AND the quality of his work - it was craftsmanship. He was fast and his work product was meticulous. He was punctual, fastidious when inside our house, cleaned up completely every day after he was done, and communicated clearly with us. If we had a question, he was able to answer it. I truly looked forward to his daily arrival during the several weeks it took to complete the job. The finished kitchen is stunning. Thanks, Keystone, you did a great job!
Description of Work: Gutted and removed our old kitchen (cabinets, appliances, sink, countertop and overhead fluorescent lighting, all from the time the house was originally built in the early 1980/s) and installed new cabinets, granite countertop, sink and faucet, overhead can lighting and undercabinet lights. (New appliances were installed by another company)

We were impressed. Ed, the installer assigned to our job, was fantastic. Never a worry about him being in our house when we were gone. He was punctual and kept us well informed as the job progressed. Most importantly, he kept the job on time and on budget! They finished on the exact day promised. We are very happy with the finished product!
Description of Work: Keystone refaced our old, outdated oak cabinets, installed new granite countertop, removed our appliance garage, took down our pony wall bar to counter height which included electrical work, installed a new sink and added a tile backsplash.
Dennis came out first and worked on a design based on measurements he did in the house - he was able to plug everything into a computer program and show us some concepts right away - nice! This service was free, fast, and no obligation. This was a good start for us. After getting a couple of other estimates, what really made our decision for us was the quality of the cabinets. We had already picked some semi-custom cabinets out, and probably would have been totally happy with them (especially compared to the 60's cabinets that they were replacing), but their custom cabinets were really solid and so beautiful. What would have been add-ons (price wise) elsewhere were included in the price of their cabinets - full extension glides, soft close doors and drawers, wood cabinet interiors and shelves, solid wood drawer boxes, probably some more things that I can't remember anymore. Since we never got as far as getting an estimate on the price of any other cabinets, it's hard to say for sure how they would have compared on price, but I really think we would have paid just as much by the time we added all those "extras". Their design and engineering teams (Dennis and Chris) worked together and came and looked at things to make sure there weren't any glaring obstacles to the plan, and changed a couple of things to reduce the some complications. Chris also had a great addition to the plan, which we are SO happy to have now. When everything was set, there was a project manager and installer assigned to us, which ended up changing a couple of times because of some unforeseen issues. Dan ended up being our day to day guy who did the bulk of the work, and he was really great to have around. Since he was basically in our house for the next 10 or so weeks, we were glad to have such a pleasant, neat and conscientious installer. He was always available to explain and answer questions, and communicate when needed with the other sub contractors or Keystone. His cabinet installation is stunning. After the bulk of the work was done, they came through and inspected the final product, and found several things that needed "touching up", which they came out and did promptly. There were a couple of issues that came up during the project as well, and they were always prompt to address them, even going to bat for us with the counter installers, who were a different company. Even a minor but annoying issue that came up weeks after we were using the kitchen was addressed and fixed by them, no hassles. Our only caveat, and reason for the "B" grade on price, would be the cost of "time and materials" for some of the project that was not in the original bulk of the install estimate. The price of the actual installation of the kitchen we felt was an excellent value. But for some of the extra work (electrical, sheet rocking, framing) that was not worked into the estimate, it turned out to be about 90 bucks per hour. It might have been more cost effective and efficient to have a separate contractor and electrician bid out those parts of the job. That being said, some of that work was not clear cut in what all needed to be done, so it would have been a real hassle to try to deal with more contractors and coordinate everyone, so it was worth it in the end. The "B" on punctuality has more to do with time management than any day to day punctuality. Everyone showed up when they said they would for any appointment or work day. But the project did run over (of course), and there was at least one week wasted because of an over estimate of how long the floor contractor would take. I think that's to be expected in a project this size, and with a company that is juggling as many projects as they seem to be. Overall we love our new kitchen, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Keystone to anyone thinking about doing a remodel (and we have to several people). Everyone has been impressed with the change in our house, and the beautiful new cabinets.
Description of Work: Design of new kitchen. Total gut of kitchen, including removal/reduction of 2 walls. Install new cabinetry throughout, gas lines, electrical, plumbing, sheetrock, rough - in old fireplace box for new gas insert. Coordinated with new floor installation and counter tops.

I was referred to Keystone Kitchens by a former client. I dropped by their office and met briefly with Susan. She then arranged an appointment with John, to review my space and submit a quote. John came out and assessed my kitchen and we discussed options within my budget. He also advised on the latest trends. John actually sold me on Keystone Kitchens as he told me that Keystone employs their contractors who receive good pay and benefits. This was very important as I know that most construction professionals are unlikely to receive benefits, and they should be paid a good wage for their many talents. By the end of the week we went to Keystone and met with John again who went over his proposal line by line and also provided a computer rendering of our new space. John also gave us a tour of the shop where the cabinets are built. Our installation would start in 4 weeks. After we accepted the proposal, our next meeting was with Bror, our engineer. John introduced us to Bror who took more detailed measurements and once again went over our design. We met with Bror two more times. He also provided us more detailed drawings of our new space. Now was the time to pick out our cabinets, countertops, etc. I met with Karen, the designer. She was very helpful in putting together samples and colors. She provided a wide range of samples of counters, floors, tiles, etc. which I took home to see how it would look in the space. This was really helpful to move the samples around in different areas of the kitchen and see how it looks in different light. I met with Karen one more time to choose paint colors. The big day finally arrived. Every item was chosen and ordered. I was nervous and anxious about undertaking this expensive project. What if I hated everything I picked out? Bror came over to introduce our installer, Lee. After meeting Lee and discussing our project I felt completely confident in his ability to transform my kitchen to what I envisioned. I was not wrong, Lee is an accomplished craftsman. Also he has an infectious personality and you can?t help but like him. He?s a sweetheart. The first thing he did was give me his cell number just in case we had any questions after hours. He always checked in at the end of the day to see how we felt everything was going. It was exciting to come home every day and see the progress he made. There were other subcontractors that did the floor, electrical and tile, and they all did a wonderful job, but Lee was the King of this project and I cannot thank him enough for my beautiful kitchen and making the whole process less stressful and practically trouble free. The cabinets are beautiful and look like beautiful pieces of furniture. Thanks to all the staff at Keystone for a great job. Jim came over to do the final inspection. A few little things to be tweaked but overall perfection. He reminded us of our 5 year warranty and that they will also be available if we had any issues. I would recommend Keystone Kitchens very highly.
