What a dumpster fire of an experience. This whole ordeal started 2 *years* ago. A sales lady, Becky, came and showed us different blinds. We picked some we liked and they said they would be out to install them in 6-8 weeks. Three months later after I called a few times to check up on what was going on they said the blinds had finally arrived and we scheduled an install. This is where things went from questionable to out and out bad. The dude they sent out to install was super unprofessional. He claimed to be doing this work for 15 years, yet he couldn't figure out how to detach the existing blinds. He kept asking for permission to break them because "the sun had fused the blinds to the brackets". Total nonsense. After showing him the blinds were not fused to anything, he only doubled down saying I didn't know what I was talking about. I wanted the blinds for another purpose, so I looked on youtube how to take down blinds, found a video which showed my bracket and the trick was to push backwards and twist. Got my blinds down without breakage. 15 years of experience, my ***. He installed blinds in other rooms, attempted to leave without taking the existing blinds, and only after he left did I find that he left brackets and hardware everywhere. Holey moley. Now this is where things really got fun. On the outdoor roller shades, the sales lady messed up the order. Since the rollers were outdoors, they were supposed to arrive in a "fascia" box that they roll up into to protect them from weather. They did not. They arrived naked and even the installer was confused. My instructions were to talk with the owner to see what could be done. He said that since I signed the contract without the roller shades saying "fascia", this was my mistake and there was nothing that could be done. He could reorder but I would have to pay for the new roller shades. I told him this was not acceptable and he said he would look into it and get back to me. The next I heard from his company was a year later in the form of an "overdue payment" bill. I didn't follow up prior to that because thus far I had only paid half, and cheap blinds for incomplete unprofessional service was a deal I was willing to accept. I spoke with the owner who said he had found a way to order just the fascia. This would cost more, but he was willing to split the cost with me and we could all put this behind us. I agreed in June, didn't hear back from them until I pinged them in September. New install was scheduled. The owner came out in person to install, and this is the richest part of the entire experience. A fascia isn't what Becky told us it was at the start! A fascia is a piece of metal in front of the blinds to hide the rollers from view. What I had actually asked for was (what I now know is called) a "cassette" for the blinds to roll up into. So this whole time I was asking for the wrong thing. They ordered the wrong thing and now I have the wrong thing installed. Even worse, the pull chain rubs on the fascia when I pull on it, making a grinding noise. I attempted some sort of pulley system to redirect the chain, but it didn't work out. I'm so done with this whole experience I'm just leaving it as is. But the point is, never again will I work with this company.

The salesperson was great and helped me pick the right ones. The only reason they didn't get straight A's is because I didn't like the person that did the installation (smelled and troubles with strings going loose when pulling the blinds up). I've had them for over a year and they've been great.

All in all a very disappointing experience. We recently purchased a house in June and realized that the East sun was just baking hot and hoped to get shades put in to help moderate the inside temperature. We signed up to have a consultation through the Costco Window Fashions kiosk service. The sales rep showed up and was quite delightful. We felt confident of our choices and the price was comparable to other full service operations, so we signed the contract on July 19th and paid our money. After this things went quite sour. Apparently, while quite charming, the sales rep was new and made a number of mistakes. I understand that mistakes do happen however, the mistakes ended up going well beyond the sales person. 1) One shade was measured incorrectly and needed to be reordered 2) The valences we requested apparently do not go with the kind of shades we ordered. Upon installation pieces were missing and needed to be reordered. 3) One set of valences and keystones were 'offset' so the keystone was 1/3 of the way to the right. But all were suppose to be in the center? Had to be re-reordered a second time. 4) Installation fellow was quite nice but one of the shades fell down after the second installation and had to be readjusted. 5) This complaint falls into a bit of a grey territory: The color of the shades are not to my liking. However they are the color we ordered so we have left this alone. But, I would caution, that the sample size provided to illustrate color is approximately 3" by 6" and is in no way representative of what you get. 6) Owner personally came to install the shades on the second and third time but I found him to be quite condescending and patronizing for what I felt were very valid frustrations on my part. Especially when it came to the 'offset' one. He kept saying, "Give it a few days and I think you'll like it". But honestly, why would the keystone be offset? I have never seen that. They are always center window. I had to take off several days of work to accommodate the installation adding to my frustration for their inability to complete the order. Lesson Learned: Do not go through Costco and have little recourse for mistakes made by the contractor. We ordered the shades on July 19th, the order was placed on July 25th and finally, on November 21. After much hassle and squeaky wheel complaining to Costco I was able to get some money back. However, it was definitely not worth working with Costco or Infinity Windows.

We got an appointment in May. We had the whole house measured. The service person forgot to bring the sample books for shutters (which she specifically knew we were interested in). It took many reminders over two weeks to finally get an estimate. Once I got an estimate, I asked to order. After 5 more messages, I finally got a return message that she was no longer with the company, that I could call the home office to get reassigned. I did so. A few days later I got a call from a new person who didn't have any paperwork from what the first person did, thus she'd need to make an appointment to start over. That was finally scheduled for July; by that time I had ordered most the window blinds myself online. She showed up late to the appointment. I got the estimate for that (higher than the first); decided not to argue and just get the project done. Getting this paperwork to get going also proved challenging. She was fully booked for a couple weeks and couldn't get me paperwork to sign. Eventually she offered to put it in the mail that day (a Tuesday). According to the postmark that arrived, she put it in on Friday and with a wrong address. When I finally got it I discovered that there were no specifics about what I would be receiving (size of window, layout) and it was going to be over 2 months before they'd get the shutter installed, making 6 months since I had started this process with them. Frustrated, I called and left a message for the owner. The salesperson called back and went on a rant about how all these problems weren't her fault (the failure to assign a new salesperson after the first one departed was not her fault, but the subsequent errors certainly were and the company certainly should have been responsible for the first one). Brad (the owner) eventually called and had essentially the same line-- it wasn't their fault. That I should place the order and see what happens. Eventually he did grudgingly admit there was a problem with being left for months without them figuring out what happened in a bad transition and as a concession to that, he was willing to honor the 6% lower price the first salesperson had quoted. But that was as far as he could "possibly" go. He was intensely interested in getting me to sign paperwork and send money. After this treatment, we declined to do so. Obviously this company does not stand behind their service.

I have used Infiniti three times for various projects and each time the service and responsiveness has got worse and worse. The first experience was good and took place about six year ago when I had them install some drapes. The second experience (installing some blinds) was ok, and took place shortly after the first, but was soured by the fact that I had to ask them to come back out to make some adjustments... something they were not at all happy to do. The latest experience was very frustrating because of the lack of communication and honesty. I placed an order for a curtain rod in February and was told it would take two weeks to receive. After four weeks and no word from the company I finally called and asked what was going on. The employee I spoke with would constantly deflect blame to other people in the office or come up with some excuse regarding why things were taking longer than promised. I was told that because the "sun was starting to come out" there was a huge number of orders that were backed up but that mine had shipped and should be arriving from a facility on the East Coast within the next five business days. After five days and no response I called and spoke with the same employee and this time I was told that they were certain the rod had just shipped from the East Coast and should be arriving in two to three business days. After three days and no response I again called and was told (again by the same employee), "we think your curtain rod is at our distribution facility in Portland". After asking the employee about the excuses with respect to shipping schedule, the location of the rod, and why things were taking so long I was told this wasn't her area (installation and shipping are handled by somebody else). I asked them to get back to me within 24 hours to tell me for sure what was going on. This time they actually did call me back, but it was to tell me that they found my curtain rod in an unmarked box in their warehouse in Woodinville. I was told it had been there for over two weeks but because it was in an unmarked box, they didn't know to whom it belonged. So I guess all the information about shipping and backorders and so forth wasn't true? Who knows? After waiting for over a month longer than the promised delivery date, they called and setup an installation date but did not offer to install immediately (though I did not push for that either). We scheduled a delivery date another week and a half out. When the date came, the guys did a great job with the installation and we were pleased with the look of the end product. However, the frustration of working with Infiniti... never getting order updates, almost never getting a call back, having to constantly be the squeaky wheel, not getting honest, knowledgeable responses, and excuses, excuses, excuses, etc... was really grating. I will not work with them again.

The brackets which came with the shade were one-size fits all and were a silvery finish which did not match shade or window frame, hence said brackets were oversized and unisghtly. This important detail was not disclosed during the sales process. Company owner worked hard to supply more attractive/appropriate brackets and was also willing to exchange the item for a slightly more expensive shade with a different mounting system, but that cure was worse than the orignal problem , so we stuck with the moderately satsifactory fix. Although the staff/owner partially botched the selling details, they were very persistent and polite about finding a compromise solution. Honest people, I'd say, just a bit lacking in anitcipating details which might be important.

The people at Infiniti were very professional and prompt from the first call to receive estimates to the complete tasks. They were very flexible with our chaotic time schedules and got the job completed in a timely and efficient manor. Their pricing was very competitive and we will definitely be using them again in the future.

We purchased our window treatments from the design and the quality of the fabric. We were happy with the treatment's quality. They then installed them with a cord so that you can open and close. It has never worked, even from the time they have installed it. They have sent people to come and look at it. The owner has came out to try and fix it, or sometimes he is two hours late or doesn't show at all. He has left us sitting and waiting for him upwards of 1/2 dozen times. When that is the owner of the company, I am not really sure who to complain to. They have never functioned since installation. He came and installed the tie backs to hold back the draperies. He drilled into the wall and left a mess all over the floor. He never cleaned up after himself. The treatments still do not work.

From start to finish working with these people was a delight. Becky, the designer, came to estimate the costs bringing samples. She even came back with additional samples. The individuals assigned to do the actual measuring appeared on time both for the blinds and the shutters. Everything was done withing a very reasonable time and everything looks great. They are easy to work with and enjoyable to be around beause they truly are knowledgeable. Even received a follow up call from Brad to make certain everything was okay. The shutters were a bit unusual to make and install because of the layout of the windows but it all worked out well.
Description of Work: Infiniti replaced 4 miniblinds (including two on doors with faux wood blinds which enhance the room in which they were placed and also cleaned one miniblind. Then they made and installed 5 faux wood shutters in my bedroom.
