Big wind storm knocked down our fence. Called this company because they are close to our house and on Angie's list. A male answered the phone and took down our information and said the boss would get back to us about scheduling an estimate. No one ever called us. It's been 3 weeks.

It went very well. The work was performed as requested with the result being excellent. Everyone who has seen the path thinks it looks very nice. Considering Mr. Hoffman's busy schedule, his response times to questions was good. The quality of the responses were very good (voice mails, emails). Due to the location of the path, we requested the flagstone path be as permeable as possible which they successfully achieved.

The project ended up looking great. We went from a dirt pit in the back where we'd removed the old deck to having a great outdoor space. They built paver stairs down to the new patio and tied it into our existing retaining wall. We had plans from a landscape architect that weren't the best and they were great at figuring out the vision and tying things together to make it look great. I'm sure we'll enjoy the space for years to come.

They were great. They would answer any questions. They were quick. They were flexible with meeting me. They were responsive.

Ron was professional, and had helpful ideas regarding my project. Decided to go with another provider that had a better price and schedule. The other provider was able to install the walls immediately. Hoffman's indicated that they were quite busy and it might be a while before my work could be done. I will call them back when it's time for other projects in the spring.

Their quote was reasonable compared to a few other quotes I had received and the work was performed in a timely and professional manner. Ron is easy to work with and tries to understand his customer's needs and also provides useful suggestions. Overall, I was pleased with the work his crew performed

Ron is very hands on with his team, checking on progress, and making sure job is going correctly. Has a great team, that are knowledgeable and skilled in what they do. Ron was able to interpret what I asked him for in regards to design and turn it into a reality. It is exactly how I imagined it to be. I love it! Despite me making changes to plan, Ron, was able to adjust and do what I asked. I would definitely have him do future work for me.

Never got back to me so we didn't use them!

I had used Hoffman's Landscape previously and they were the first to come to mind when I needed a new lawn installed. As usual, they were very prompt in answering my inquiry, provided a fair estimate and performed the work as promised. They are very professional and easy to work with, as is their crew. They did an outstanding job of cleaning up at completion of the job. Excellent company to work with.

Ron is personable and easy to work with. He knew what to do to get the job done well. And his price was reasonable and affordable. He added rock for the aesthetic appeal of the drain in the bark bed. He also did an extra minor repair to help the yard look its best We are pleased with Ron's work and look forward to working with him again

Ron was wonderful because he listened and did exactly what we asked for. He purchased top grade cedar and buried the posts deep in the ground and added cement. He saw that we had some erosion on the backside of the fence, so he made sure it wouldn't affect our new beautiful fence. We asked for a topper for the fence and thought about lattice. Then my husband found another type of design on the way home and drew it for Ron. Ron not only did the design, but did it so much better than what my husband saw. And, he didn't charge a penny more for the change. Ron and his assistant exclaimed that our fence was one of the most beautiful backyard fences they'd ever done. It should be in House Beautiful! Ron is honest and hard working. He took pics of our fence, and I'm sure he'd be happy to share them. You won't go wrong with Ron! (Yes, I know it rhymes.) Thank you, Ron and Lance. They are very good, they are awesome. He showed up when he said he would, he did a great job, and the pricing was what it was. He was friendly, and a really good guy. We are thinking of having him do the maintenance on our yard, and coming couple of times a month to do mowing and all for summer.

Ron and Jose rock! We were seeking bids to remove old roots and debris from approximately half of our front lawn to increase curb appeal, and replace 51 linear feet of old fencing. Ron was one of four landscapers and/or general contractors that I met with to discuss these projects. By trade, I solicit bids on behalf of my employer and drive best value negotiations. So, I do not take this process lightly. Upon first meeting with Ron and discussing the projects, I found myself hoping that his bid would be competitive so that I could validate my gut feeling to select him for the services. I was not disappointed. Ron's estimate was very competitive and his demeanor (the perfect balance of professionalism and the seasoned craftsman next door that we all wish we were), left me at ease in this selection. From first impression to project completion I never doubted for one second that I'd made the right choice in hiring Ron and his team. Simply put, I'd hire him again, tomorrow! I highly recommend Ron to my closest friends and family. In fact, I'll be contacting Ron for some spring projects. So, while I wish him well in future business, I hope my fellow Angie's List members will leave some space on Ron's calendar for me. :) P.s. Jose is a beast when it comes to lawn renovation. I don't think I've ever seen a man work so hard and competently. If he weren't so nice and personable, I might question whether he is in fact man or machine. You can't go wrong. Hire these guys yesterday.

The work started with discussion with Ron Hoffman on what I wanted to do and he suggested some ideas and together we worked on a final plan. He gave me an estimate for the work in two different phases since that is what I requested. I asked for him to start as soon as possible on the first phase which was scheduled a week out. His workers arrived on the scheduled date and began preparing the ground by digging and leveling the area and carrying the excess dirt to my back yard where I had asked it to be placed (for some future project we have in mind). When Ron came to check on the status of the work I had asked him if we could do phase two right away and he said yes and integrated that into that very days work. The work continued and was finished according to the schedule (even though I almost doubled the project plan by adding phase 2). I am very pleased with the finished work -- it is nicer than I expected and very professionally done in all respects. Mr. Hoffman's workers were hard working, skilled, and they seem to know exactly what to do and they were also very friendly answering my questions from time to time. Mr. Hoffman was on-site the entire last day as the job was finishing up. Hoffman Landscaping is now my "go-to" spot for any future landscaping or other work that fits into his skills and services.

I had agreed to work with another Angie's List landscaper for this job but when they did not respond to two phones asking when they would start the work, I contacted Hoffman's Landscape. The owner, Ron Hoffman, responded immediately to my inquiry, was out the next day and provided a written estimate within a day. He went over all the details of the job to be performed and the price was very fair. His crew showed up when promised and worked diligently to complete the job in one day. They did an outstanding job and cleaned up the job site when finished. Ron and his crew were very professional and did an outstanding job. I would definitely refer them and will use them again.

Hoffman's Landscape did a great job. They were very business-like, accomodating and friendly. Overall, with building a fence, and ongoing yard service, including tree trimming, and fertilization over a year it was less than 8,000.

I love them. Sometimes the owner comes out to supervise. They will always check in to see how the work is. I’ve referred two neighbors to them.

WE are very pleased with Hoffman’s, there are professional and do an excellent job. The work is performed on time. Yes, we plan on using them again; they do our current maintenance yard work. We are very pleased.
