Description of Work: For the first time I was very pleased with how they took on the job of cleaning the railing, decking and steps. The cleaning solution used was amazing. I bragged about them and said you have to use this company. Redmond Roofing recommend Eastside Roof Cleaning. I have to tell you about Redmond Roofing. They get all A's too. Very professional, informative and prices are very very fair. These two companies, to date, will always have my business.

Description of Work: Mike came out to look at a leaking sky window. He was on time, curtious, friendly and extremely helpful. Mike showed me some areas that might be causing the leak and how to do the simple repairs myself with caulking. He was not sure if the uncaulked areas caused the leak but advused it was a quick and cheap method that should be tried first. Then he informed me that this was really a window problem and should be handled by a window professional. It is clear the Mike really cares about doing good service for people. Although there was nothing Mike and Eastside could do to fix the leak, I cannot speak more highly of Mike's professionalism and concern for his customers.

Description of Work: I've used Eastside Roof Cleaning for the past several years and have been satisfied with their services. However, this year was differen, perhaps because a different crew showed up. In the end, the roof was cleaned satisfactorily. However, I doubt the result would have been satisfactory if my wife and I had not been at home to supervise. The scope of the job was to airclean the roof and then to apply moss treatment to any areas of the roof that had moss. The year before Eastside had cleaned the roof and had applied a moss treatment that carried a 2-year guarantee. This meant that if any moss was on the roof this year, additional moss treatment would be applied at no additional cost to me. The reason for the grade of "F" in the category of responsiveness is threefold: (1) before they commenced cleaing the roof I pointed out there was an area on the roof that had moss and needed treatment. At first, the lead worker balked by saying the air cleaning wouldn't get rid of the moss. I reminded him of the 2-year contract and he responded by saying "he wished someone had told him!" He put in a call to the estimator, Mike Wilson, and Wilson told him to treat the area that had moss. At that point, the worker admitted he had moss treatment with him on the truck. I felt this information and my history should have been known by these workers by the time they showed up to my house. The second issue concerned an area in a corner of an outside wall that became dirty as a result of the debris coming off the roof. Had my wife not specifically pointed out this area that needed to be cleaned off, the crew would not have done it. Finally, the third issue that really got to us is that during the time that they were cleaning out the gutters, we had 3, plastic filter-type devices that fit in the downspouts that were dislodged, blown out and landed on the ground. The puropse of these devices is to help keep debris from being flushed down the downspouts. When my wife asked if they would replace those 3 devices back in the downspouts, they replied that they don't do that. After they left, my wife and I reflected on that - here they had their ladders out and it would have taken a minute or less to replace these three filters, but we were told they don't do that. I don't think it would have been that big a deal for them and they were paid $345.00 to do a job + put things back in order afterwards.

Description of Work: Eastside Roof Cleaning came out in November of last year and gave me an estimate for cleaning, resealing and minor repairs of the roof.

Description of Work: Roof was completely cleaned by use of high water volume/low pressure wash. Parts of the roof were THICK with moss, but they cleaned everything. A moss retardant was applied after cleaning. All sides of the house, including windows, doors, decks and sidewalk were cleaned and moss residue removed.

Description of Work: Update after three years: we have the best looking roof in the neighborhood!! The work has held up incredibly well and was money really well spent. They know what they`re doing. 15 yr old cedar shake roof, full rain gutters, 5 years of neglect and a tree-branch hole to be resolved. Several other bids wanted much higher amounts just to patch the small hole or to clean the gutters and their companies didn't do roof cleaning after. Several only wanted to replace the roof. Eastside could do all the tasks and believed the roof had sufficient life to justify the investment. They agreed to patch the hole as part of the overall roof inspection and shingle replacements, then cleaned moss and roof debris, thoroughly cleaned gutters and downspouts, and came back to apply oil protection to roof.
