+ -1 moreDavid is amazing, how he thinks through to get the job done on time, neatly and perfectly. The wiring work was so beautiful, my husband and I kept talking about it. We are so happy with the work and the fact that it added so much value to our home. On top of that David is so pleasant to talk to. He is very busy, but he always answered my call and took the time to explain everything.
Description of Work: Removing old main electric panel and proper grounding set in place.

+ -1 moreDavid was punctual and arrived with all the necessary tools and supplies needed. He not only did what I asked, but suggested better ways to accomplish what I wanted. David went above and beyond just doing satisfactory work. He made sure everything he did was perfect and also completed in a timely manner. His cleanup during each task was much appreciated. There was no mess laying around until he finished. He cleaned up as he went along. I would definitely hire David again without hesitation.

Description of Work: Primary job was rewiring some lighting in our barn - moving some fixtures, getting better motion sensing lights at one corner and so on. Very happy with the results. David's a character, but a good one - works incredibly hard and produces good results. We'd used him previously as a subcontractor on a bathroom remodel that we're still exceptionally pleased with after 5 years.

He responds back quickly, quotes are fair and is always upbeat and fun to work with. + 0 moreHe found the wiring for an outlet was bad and that was why it didn't work. He did a great job on installing the fan. They had to install it a certain way, but I wish we could have changed the placement. For what he was charging he seemed very slow for what he was doing. He did seem to know exactly what he was doing though.
Description of Work: Trosset Electric came out and put in a bathroom fan. He did some minor electric work as well.c

+ 0 moreDavid was selected by the contractor for our project; he is professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The project included the integration of existing wiring with the addition to our home and some additional lighting in the existing construction. David worked with my husband to install network wiring and provided great assistance for the networking hub. Aside from his knowledge, the service I most appreciated was a response to some faulty wiring in our existing construction in an area unrelated to the addition - just to be clear that this faulty wiring was not something David had worked on/near for the addition. We had a serious issue where two hot wires were not properly separated and the two wires finally "touched" one evening at home. Later, David told us that this is how electrical fires start, so we consider ourselves lucky. We turned off the switch at our control panel. The next morning, David responded to our call within 40 minutes and had a good idea of the issue based upon the symptoms described. Fortunately, the area with the issue was identified quickly, accessible from our crawl space and resolved quickly.
Description of Work: Wiring and installation of lighting for 800 sq. ft. addition. Repair of faulty wiring in existing construction. Included in price of home addition project through a contractor; thus, I cannot give specifics on pricing.

+ 0 moreDavid is very knowledgeable and gave us many suggestions along the way. He finished the work within 3 weeks and was prompt and cleaned up after himself. We added a bit to our original plan, which cost a bit more - but it was well worth it. Although electrical work isn't noticed very much when everything is working, it is a big problem when things aren't working/right.
Description of Work: Removed plug-in cord from gas fireplace. Wired fireplace from an existing outlet, installed conduit on exterior of home and reconnected fireplace with a relocate cord and outlet to plug into. Removed and relocated existing cable TV outlet to another wall space. Wired for additional electrical box with a duplex plug behind entertainment center. Determined what single pole switch does in family room, and at this same location removed this and the electrical box and installed new 2-gang box for new lighting. Wired and install 4 new 6' recess cans placed in ceiling. Installed dimmer switch for new recess can lights. Wired for new 20 amp circuit supplying power to 2 new garage door opener plugs in ceiling. Extended wiring from new garage door opener circuit to wall space at rear for freezer with a new electrical box and single plug to also plug into. Wired for GFCI protected outlet from an existing circuit on side of the garage exterior, next to electrical panel. Wired for new 15 amp circuit with an electrical box and a GFCI protected plug inside of garage next to work bench. Removed {4} existing surface lights in upstairs/downstairs hallway. Installed {4} recess can lights with trim and bulb. Removed and replaced single pole switch in powder bath with a Decora "stack switch" to separate fan from light switch. Repaired wiring on exterior for the low voltage wiring leading from the septic alarm. Checked septic pump for power. Advised owner a new "float switch" is needed for the septic pump.
