Courtesy Glass is a full service residential glass company offering sales and install of mirrors, shower doors, custom interior glass products, windows and entry doors. We have more than 30 employees between our installation department, sales staff, customer service and manufacturing departments. We are fully licensed to operate in Washington state. We measure and install most of our own products built only once ordered for a customers home. The process begins with a free in home estimate with one of our trained sales people who custom design the glass products to meet the needs of the individual customer. There are no charges until a customer places an order with us. We have a strict policy against any type of pressure sales tactics, gimmicks or artificial discounts to close a sale. Our best price is always put forward to the customer. We will consider matching competitors but until we see the details to ensure it is a comparable product we cannot guarantee we will match it! All of our employees are screened and are direct employees of Courtesy Glass. We never use contracted labor for our installs. The people we will send to your home are trusted and trained individuals with your satisfaction in mind. Our main manufacturing facility is located in Woodinville and we have another showroom in Auburn. Our service area spans through Western Washington from Olympia to the Canadian border. They were nice on the phone. Came out in a reasonable amount of time. The installer showed up to replace the door but they had ordered the wrong door. They got right on it and reordered the door ASAP and the installation went well.

The job was to replace and properly install top and bottom tracks for two sets of Raumplus glass doors. Each set had one fixed door and one sliding door.||What went wrong:|- The salesman did not provide a proper estimate for parts and labor after three attempts (this should have been a red flag but I ignored it)|- The tracks were installed but two things were left pending after the installers spent almost a day working on them: |1. the fixed door in each set was not properly secured (could get off the track if pushed hard)|2. The track on one of the sliding doors was not leveled so the door would not remain closed|The installers told me about these issues and said they would talk to their office to schedule another appointment.||That second appointment took ages (months) to happen mainly because I kept dealing with the same salesman as before and using e-mail instead of the phone. Only when I called their office and asked to talk to the office manager things moved on.|To this day one of the tracks is still not leveled.

I called Courtesy Glass seeking an estimate for a mirror installation. Was told that someone named Florin was going to get back to me with an estimate. Never heard back. Called a few days later, and was told that I should contact Florin directly. My thought was: do I manage Florin, or do you?, but I tried calling him anyway. No answer. Never heard back from anyone at Courtesy Glass. I guess they didn't need my business.
Description of Work: Failed to provide an estimate and follow through with requested service.

Called twice to get a quote. First time was told I was being transferred to customer service and the line went silent for as long as I stayed on the phone (about 2 minutes). Called back 30 minutes later and was transferred to customer service where it rang this time and someone picked up the other line and then hung up on me. Courtesy Glass???? I don't think so.N

Called in with measurement, answered a few specification questions, got a reasonable quote, set a date and paid. Got an e mail confirmation and a call day before installation. Installer arrived on time with a few more hardwares than thought necessary and they needed all of them because of some wrinkles. They anticipated those, of course. Job done and they left shortly, no fuss no mess. I wish all contractors are like these guys. However do discuss the fitting strategy in detail, these are less than obvious.
Description of Work: Fixed a 5ftX7ft mirror on a wall.

The office staff was very helpful and patient answering all of my questions about quality levels of glass, installation options for the 9' x 5' mirror, and offering a competitive price for both materials and installation. The installers showed up on time, they were professional, careful, and meticulous. They wore booties in my house to protect my floors, laid drop clothes as necessary, and cleaned up all of their mess. They worked with me to figure out some tricky details (including how to choose the best reveal for the mirror with a non-level floor) before beginning the installation. I really appreciated their attention to detail. For example, they doubled-checked with me that I wanted the bathroom mirror installed to match the reveal of the window above the mirror, even though it meant the mirror would be 1/16and quot; off of level on one side. They made a number of small adjustments to the big mirror to get it set just right and spent extra time making sure it was as perfect as possible before leaving. I've hired a lot of contractors, and the installers from Courtesy Glass were top-notch in their attention to detail, professionalism, cleanliness, and perfectionism.
Description of Work: I purchased two mirrors for my house from Courtesy Glass and had them deliver and install them both. One was a large 9' x 5' mirror for a home dance studio and the other was a bathroom mirror.

The estimator, Florin, came out and measured our shower stall. He explained the pros and cons of the glass and gave us an estimate. We then waited until the marble had been installed before calling Florin for the glass install. A few weeks later the installers came out and did a good job with the installation but did not mention the need for an inspection of the glass before they left. A few weeks later while cleaning the glass, we found some scratch marks on the glass and called Florin. He did not come out for two months but eventually told us that we did not cause the scratch by simply cleaning the glass. He was honest in his assessment. He reported the problem to his manager but we did not get a response for another 2 months. The manager said we caused the problem and they were not liable. In view of the prior statement by Florin, we contacted Mark Peterson. I sat down with him and went over the problem with him in person. He was nice enough to take the time to chat with me in a very cordial manner. He assured me that they would fix the problem which they did in about 3 weeks. The new glass panel is perfect and we are happy. We appreciate this company seeking to please us with their work and replacing the flawed glass. We like that kind of company and would use them again. Special kudos to Florin and Mark.
Description of Work: Courtesy Glass installed 1/2 inch frameless glass shower stall for us after a marble wall install. It consisted of two glass panels and a glass door.

My first experience with this company was three years ago when they installed a frameless shower surround and mirrors (with some tricky edges.) I was very satisifed with the process and end product. This time not so much. Chad Krebs is the Branch Manager and is the same person I dealt with the first time. He came out on time for the measure and quote, we discussed options and settled on a plan. I was really concerned about having a towel bar on one side, because I didn't want the beautiful tile blocked. We settled on a 70and quot; high slider with a towel bar that would be 30and quot; off the tub. He promised the quote the next day. It took a week and only after I contacted him. The quote was not for what I decided on. I pointed out the problems and he corrected them. The installers were great and showed up on time (even a little early.) The problem came when they put up the towel bar. It was not in the correct place - of course the glass is drilled through and therefore not adjustable. When Chad came back out to deliver a missing part needed to complete the installation, I pointed it out to him. He said he would double check his notes and get back to me. He didn't. A week later, I contacted him again, and he agreed that it should have been 30and quot;, but the fabricator put the holes in the center of the glass. Now I know it is only off by 4and quot;, but it looks really strange that high! I've contacted him twice now to discuss options to remedy the situation and he will not respond at all. The quality of the product is great - no complaints. But the follow through on promises and the level of professionalism in dealing with an unhappy customer was downright lousy. I will hire someone else for the rest of the projects.
Description of Work: Installed custom, frameless shower/tub doors.

It looks wonderful. The backsplash looks gorgeous. We had a little bit of a communication glitch but once that got solved with the salesman everything was fine. Everybody else came when they said they would and they did a lovely job. The quality was excellent. They had responded promptly when I contacted them initially and they had the best price that I found. I was very comfortable having them in my house.
Description of Work: We used Courtesy Glass to do ribbed glass in my cabinets and they did glass on a painted backsplash. They also sandwiched a piece of art in glass behind our range.

We had to have all the tile replaced in our stall shower. The old shower door was of poor quality and leaking, so we discarded it. After the tile was installed, Florian from Courtesy Glass came over to measure. He phoned and sent a quote by e-mail. I wanted to see the quality of the door and check out the frosted glass that I had chosen, so I went over to their showroom in Woodinville. I was very pleased with what they had there, so I ordered the shower door. They installed it the next week. It is attractive and sturdy. I am pleased with the prompt, professional service from Courtesy Glass, and with the quality of their product.

We're very happy with their services. Kevin came to our house to take measurements, and I could see he was very detail oriented and methodical in his work. I didn't talk much with the installation teams that came to our house to install the shower doors and some mirrors, but I did interact with the team that came install the last mirror. They did a good job with the placement of the mirror and seemed just as detail oriented as Kevin. As they were cleaning the mirror, I asked them about recommendations for cleaners, and they ended up giving me a full bottle of the cleaner they like to use. We're very happy with their work and will certainly contact them next time we need similar services.

Every thing went outstanding!
Description of Work: After installing mirrors and showers throughout my house in 1996, in 5 bathrooms, one of the mirrors came loose. Dennis from Courtesy Glass came to my house, and not only inspected the mirror that came loose, but had every mirror throughout the house inspected. They made sure that every mirror was properly attached, and charged me nothing. What an outstanding company to honor their workmanship after that long.

First, the good: The quality of the finished product is great. The enclosure is great and fits very nicely. The glass inserts for the cabinet are just what we were wanting. We are happy with both. They were about 30% less expensive than the other 3 quotes I got for this enclosure, so that was great. Now, the not good/slightly annoying: The guy they sent to do the estimate (Gary) was OK. He was a little slow in getting the quote to me. Also, he rubbed me the wrong way a bit by giving me a ballpark # of $1300 but then giving me a quote of $2050. Annoying, but no biggie. Still a better price than everyone else. Second, the installation guys were good overall but they left a slight mess. There was silicone sealant here and there. Once again, no biggie. Their payment policy is 100% up front, which seemed out of line to me. Overall, we're happy with the results and the annoyances are minimal. I would use them again for more glass work.
Description of Work: Courtesy Glass measured, manufactured, and installed a heavy glass (1/2") shower enclosure for our remodeled bathroom. They also provided some glass inserts for the front of our bathroom cabinet.
