July 2024 Unforutnately, we have bery horific experience with this company. You can see more reviews of people in our case on Better Business Bureau website ([*** Link removed ***] Clean425 cleaned our roof in June 2023. Since they didn't follow the correct steps in protecting our plants around our house (from front to back), our plants were exposed to their solution and died. A year later, they still want us to wait until they're done talking to their experts eventhough we've repeatly requested them to replace the plants ASAP. We gave them a deadline to provide us with their replacement plan and they don't seem to bother. During our conversation last fall, they even mentioned that their lawyer had said they'd done everything to avoid any liabilities before we even brought up any legal matters. We're taking them to court. 10/3/24 Update: The Company contacted us right after we posted the initial review and only wanted to correct their wrongdoing if we remove our review. We refused to let them dictate the terms and conditions. They haven't contacted us since!

I've had a similar experience to Carol H., but without the litigation. I was totally scammed from start to finish. Job was done sloppily, half way, no clean up after, and much of what was promised did not get done at all. Gutters still had debris in them and the outside did not get touched. Screens were NOT touched at all only to remove and replace. I think if it can't get done with a pressure washer, then i doesn't get done at all, regardless of the promises from Richard. They LOVE pressure washing. No invoice up front...said computer was not working and would send later; also said he was "out" of business cards When it arrived it did not have much of what was promised. Asked for a credit card in lieu of a check....1/2 up front and 1/2 after. But they ran the credit card after also, without notifying me. I expected to wait to give permission until the promised work was done and done well as promised. The entire experience took 3 days, 2 hours the first day (left at 1:00) no one here the second day, and 1 1/2 hours the third day...From first day to third day, I had screens stacked up on my front porch, when they could have used the covered back patio out of sight from those passing by the house. Great curb appeal......
Description of Work: Roof cleaned, gutters cleaned outside and inside, windows & screen cleaned outside and inside, and patio cover cleaned.

I would NEVER hire this company again! I was cold called and promised that my roof would be hand soft brushed and that I would get "ultimate gutter cleaning" which would include minor gutter repair. They never provided me with the quote or estimate that they claimed they would give me. Instead they had three (3) employees show up half an hour early and ready to attack my roof. When I stopped them and asked what they were there for, I was shown one of their phones with a Work Order. The price was $500 over what was agreed to on the phone and the description of the work to be done was vague and not clear, so I called the office, asking for them to call me, to clarify everything. They never returned my call, but the team leader showed me a discount which was almost half of the discrepancy and then I verbally told him that the roof needed to be hand soft brushed and that there were 2 gutter corners, which I showed him, and let him know that Richard promised they would be fixed as "minor repairs". There was no comment or issues noted, they all just proceeded to the roof and I went inside to do my work. I received an invoice around 3 pm, prior to the workers being finished and when they rang my door bell and said they were done, I looked at the roof which had brown moss instead of green and I asked them if they were going to return, to remove the moss, as was on the Work Order and was what I was planning to pay for. They told me it would "disappear" and I laughed and told them that moss does NOT disappear. Eventually they decided to go back onto the roof and I went back inside. A few hours passed and I heard engine/motor noises which frightened me, because I had made it perfectly clear that there was to be no power washing or pressure washing on my roof - it would void my 50-year warranty. I took my cell phone with me to video at least two of them power washing or pressure washing my roof and blasting the moss off of it. I screamed for the team leader and asked him if he was power washing my roof and he turned off the engines/motors and lowered the pressure and said, "No, I'm rinsing it." and when I reminded him that they were supposed to be "hand brushing the moss off", he informed me that "we did, but this is better". I continued to tell him that power washing was bad for roofs and he came down to discuss with me that he would not damage my roof and he would have it in the lowest setting. After they got down, I made sure to tell them that I was going to be very angry, if there is any damage on my roof. He told me that his manager would call me. He never did. The gutters were left visibly filthy and one gutter the rain runs over it, instead of inside it. Adam claimed they had taken parts of the screened coverings off, to clean the insides, but the did NOT. Their team leader informed me AFTER they claimed they were done, that they do NOT take off the covers. There was absolutely no attempt at cleaning my gutters whatsoever. And, the two corners that were promised to be to have the minor repair, by fixing the leaks, were never fixed. As a matter of fact, when I went on the ladder, to fix the leaks myself, just a couple days ago, I saw that the gutter had tons of debri backed underneath my roof, on top of the gutters (not visible when looking down at the gutters). Clean425 is the most dishonest company that I have ever had to deal with! Check out the gutters - THIS is what they claim are the results of "Ultimate Gutter Cleaning" and the worse part is that the judge took Adam's word for it, when he informed him that it was his "industry standard" to not clean the outside of the gutters, despite Adam claiming that he "cleaned my house" - check out the sides of my house and YOU judge for yourself!!! The next day I texted the team leader and asked where the before & after photos were, that were also promised to me by the salesperson and him. He informed me that "documents need to be reviewed first" and with that I asked him "what kind of double-talk is that?" and of course he didn't not respond and I never got the photos from him. I called around 9 am to the office, to discuss why I was not happy with the service, but they immediately hung up on me. I called back and a salesperson immediately apologized to me and said he was sorry that I wasn't happy. He transfered me to the salesperson that I spoke to and he too apologized and told me that his Service Manager would call me in 15 minutes. I told him that I had an appointment and had to leave, but I wanted to make sure that someone or everyone would come to my house the next day, after 9 am, so that I could show them why I was unhappy. He said okay and we hung up. After I was about to walk out the door about 2 minutes after hanging up with Clean425 and telling them that I was leaving, the phone rang and I could see it was Clean425, so rather than not taking the call and them claiming that I refused to answer their phone (like they do), I answered it and was immediately yelled at by an Adam Butner to informed me that he didn't have to speak to me, because I had yelled at eight (8) of his employees all day, the day before. When I asked him who these employees were, he named three people and then stopped himself and said that he didn't have to answer my questions. He was extremely verbally abusive and accusing me of doing what he was doing (yelling). He also informed me that he was stalking me on-line and knew what my profession was and my license was active, etc... and that if I wanted his last name, to go there, just like he did. When I could clearly see that Adam was not a reasonable person and there was no way to have a professional conversation with him, I asked to speak to the owner. He told me that he was as high as I could get - that he was the owner. So, instead of him calling me back the day before, when I had issues while his employees were at my house, he decided to stalk me on the internet?! This creeped me out and made me feel very violated and theatened. He also informed me, instead of asking why I was calling, that if I didn't pay their invoice, he would "file a lien on my home". Now he threatened not only me, personally, but my property. I called the police after we hung up and filed a Police Report against him and I emailed his company to ask for anyone but Adam to contact me, to resolve the issues. I also called the actual owner, Eric Mills, and left 5 voice messages (they cut off after 3 minutes) to give him the low down on what transpired with Adam and asked him to return my call. Adam returned the call instead, and informed me that it was HIS phone (despite the fact that the Department of Licensing listed it as Eric's) and that I was "not allowed to call it" and that he will have his attorney send me a "Cease & Desist" letter. He also informed me that the officer who took my report called him to tell him that he didn't understand why I filed the report and that they both laughed and the officer told Adam that I was rude to him too and that I yelled at him. I called the officer to ask him if it was true, but he said he told Adam to not have any contact with me instead, and to let the courts deal with it instead. So, I never called him or Eric or Clean425 ever again. I emailed instead, asking for someone besides Adam, to contact me. No one ever did. I received a Demand Letter from their attorney, increasing the amount owned by another $1,800 AND informing me that it was accruing interest at 12% per annum, until I paid it in full AND he demanded that I remove all Social Medial postings where I wrote reviews about Clean425 and to drop my Police Report. I refused to drop anything or remove anything, because people need to be aware of this company. Clean425 did file a Small Claims against me for $5K. I countersued for $10K but the judge found in Clean425's favor because I did not have proof that my 50-year warranty is now voided and I also foolishly had mentioned in my letter to the judge for the pre-trial that I was "not asking to be reimbursed for having to repaint my house, at this time" after their bleach streak fiasco all over all sides of my house (since it was due for a new paint job anyway). The judge didn't allow me to change my mind by the final court hearing. I had thought that the loss of my remaining 35 years of warranty, amounting to over $14K, was clearly enough for my counter-claim, but I was wrong. Even though there was clear evidence, by the photos THEIR attorney sent me, of the bleach stain, the judge did not consider the cost for attempting to revive my roof by another company and he ruled that there was "no evidence of any damage". Lesson Learned - Clean425 does NOT honor their "100% Customer Satisfaction" and you can see on the Better Business Bureau website that they also notified Clean425 of their false advertising about claiming to be the #1 cleaning company in Washington, but Clean425 didn't feel the need to reply to them either. Clean425 even altered their original invoice to me, to add over $1,800 and on the invoice and it claims it was for "extra labor". But, Adam told the judge that the extra amount was the be reimbursed for their "attorney fees" which appear to be over $5K, but the judge had no problem with Adam's inconsistencies or manipulation of facts or the lack of integrity with their Accounting, this is Invoice Fraud, in my opinion. I have a copy of the audio from the court hearing. The judge refused to even listen to me talk about the evidence that I have, because we didn't have time, after waiting for over an hour with Clean425 being late to the court (they were on Zoom instead and had to drive in to be in-person). Adam even claimed that he didn't have the photos of the bleach streaks that I supplied to them both at pre-trial and at the court hearing. And, he insisted that they cleaned my house, when they clearly did not. The judge ruled that I didn't have evidence that my warranty was voided, so my claim for $10K was dismissed "with prejudice". I will NEVER trust that company EVER again. Make sure that you check all Social Media reviews for any company you have come to your house AND make sure that EVERY detail is on the Work Orders (better yet, get an Estimate or Quote with EVERY detailed on it before you agree to them coming to your home). Also check the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General websites. They won't be fluffed up with the fake 5-star ratings that Clean425 brags about. People have to swear to the truthfulness on those websites. Buyers Beware!!!

Clean425 arrived on time and was paid in full. The crew lead said they would send before and after photos but these were never sent. I flew a drone over my roof to get my own photos and saw that half of the roof was still covered in moss clumps. I sent photos to Clean425 and asked them for a plan to revisit and resolve this but they never responded. It seems this is not unusual for Clean425 and they are running a scam. Services were paid for but not provided. I had to dispute this charge with my credit card.

Total train wreck. Run run away. They were to do moss removal for us and the website (now changed) had an estimate feature that I distinctly recall saying they use a safe spray. In reality, after spraying our roof, the paint all over our house was bleached. The entire exterior paint is ruined and led to a massive insurance claim that is not going to cover repair. And they have refused to answer my request for a refund on the spraying service, which is insane. To boot, the spray hardened in to a thick white film that covered our windows, screens, the neighbor’s house, my car, and bleached our deck and fence stains. They did respond quickly when things went south, but this mess is unforgivable and them ducking out with us paying for this “service” in full is disgusting. On a lighter note, they did a nice job with our Christmas lights, it were disorganized and lost track of the services we originally requested, etc.

Good communication from my initial contact. I entered our house information in their website and I got a call back soon and we were all scheduled and ready to go. First scheduled day of appointment didn't go well. Technician called to say they'd be an hour late (good), but were instead four hours late (not good). At that point, we weren't home, but the tech called when they (two of them?) arrived, clarified the scope of work (just cleaning out the gutters at the top of the first floor) and said they'd get started. Soon after, they called back to say that they didn't have the ladders they needed (!?), and that they'd come back Sunday. Sunday came and went with no call from the company. I was contacted by the office via email asking how the job went. I didn't get around to responding until Wednesday, to say that the technician never returned to do the work. I sent another email the following Sunday, asking if we could reschedule. The office replied the next day and we set up an appointment for Wednesday morning, suggesting maybe I'd get a discount for my trouble. So, a little slow, but so was I; apparently not good communication between the office and the first tech crew. The The second appointment came, and the new technician (just one) was prompt and professional. He explained to me that they mostly do east side houses, which apparently are not as tall, and that they really aren't set up to do Seattle houses. I appreciated his forthrightness. However, no discount; instead, he charged me extra for "moving the ladder". Understandable (he was working alone, and the height meant he couldn't use a freestanding ladder so had to climb down and move it often), but still it left a bitter taste. So, a mixed bag. I got the task done, but not at a very good value for my money, and with more time spent managing the task than I would have liked.
