Description of Work: We moved into our home over a year ago, and while the landscaping was ok, there were many area's that were in a state of disarray. In the spring of '15 we contacted a number of landscapers, received many quotes and many ideas. Alan from Classic was a classic from the start. It was obvious he knew what he was talking about and he had thoughts of what would work best where we lived and based upon our property. We were having a big special celebration coming up and his suggestions on getting certain things done first made the yard and house look beautiful. We are a bit remote and on 5 acres. There were many area's that needed to be defined and his idea's worked perfectly. The crew and team were the most professional and courteous. The place was immaculate every evening when they left. After all was planted, and during the driest summer we've had, they even came out to our house when we were out-of-town to make sure things were watered (and we don't live close to Woodinville). They went above and beyond. We would recommend them highly and will use them in the future for any of our landscaping needs.

Description of Work: The high ranking is only for the designer's work and plans provided to us. It took a while to finally meet and start the process, but once started the designer (Andrea) met all of our expectations. As a bonus, she included the front yard in the re-design. | |The cost estimate for the landscaping labor and supplies, however, was very high and we chose not to use Classic for the work. We are ordering materials ourselves and doing much of the work. We will hire additional help as needed.

Description of Work: I have a very small backyard with soil that was really difficult to plant in. It was hemmed in by small trees and had a very closed in feeling. Sam and his crew transplanted the trees to provide a screen between the neighboring property and built a long, low L-shaped planter for existing plants and seating. The original plan was more expensive, so Sam made some adjustments so that I could stay on budget which I really appreciated. Everyone was very friendly, nice to work with, and my backyard looks great.

+ 0 moreUPDATE: We had requested an easy to maintain landscape. The designer pushed hard for rock paths rather than hardscape, which have proved impossible to maintain - however, they were cheap for them to install so the job was more profitable for them. Over the years, we discovered that the rock debris from the installation was buried in the new planting beds - they are about two thirds dirt, one third rocks, when they were supposed to be brand new high quality soil beds. We purchased about half the plants, and they provided the other half - almost all of theirs died within the first two years. The trees we purchased were left balled and burlapped and plopped in small holes - at least one heaved up out of the hole within the first year. Would never use again.
Description of Work: Classic designed and installed patios, paths, rock steps, a fountain, and new landscaping features.

Description of Work: Joanie did a garden design for us that was extremely helpful and inspiring. Her suggestions for plants were help for creating a sustainable yard yet had the look and feel we wanted.

+ 0 moreI first met with Guy Feldman from Classic Nursery at my home for an initial consultation. Guy did a great job of listening and paying attention to what I had envisioned. After looking over the area and listening to my vision, he spent about 15min and drew up an intial sketch of the project incorporating my ideas and some of his own. Most of the other compaines wanted around $1k to do the design, which I thought was outrageous since my yard is approx 500sq feet. Classic did not charge for this service and Guy did an excellent job coming up with the plan. From there, Guy took a couple of days to come up with a bid for the plan we had come up with. The bid was not the lowest, but was right at my budget and included all the extra features that I wanted...like my small water feature. Juan and Carlos did most of the work. They were here every day and did an excellent job. I saw progress each day and I never got a complaint from any of my neighbors regarding noise, parking, or the work being done. They did an excellent job keeping the work sight clean and neat. My project took about 3 weeks to complete...mostly because of the work being done around the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. In the end, Guy gave me a comprehensive walk through of the project and all the work that had been done. There was a small overage due to the conceate removal being thicker than anticipated, but I was aware of it. Overall, the project is beautiful and I cannot wait for nicer, warmer weather to start enjoying my new patio/back yard space.
Description of Work: Purchased new home in need of a small back yard. Needed to remove ugly existing concrete patio, install a paver patio, and install plants. Also wanted a small water feature and a sprinkler system for both the new back yard and the existing front yard area.

Employees were not busy......just chatting with each other. Update....After an unhappy experience and review I was contacted by the owner of Classic. I really appreciated his follow up and will definitely be back.

Then, they will bring new additions to the landscape design in a complimentary way. On previous visits, they have completed intense projects which included ponds and other features. They complete the work in a reasonable time, arrive as scheduled and leave everything in good order.
Description of Work: The company completed a landscape design for my front yard. They removed some overgrown perennials and planted new ones. During the process, they reconditioned the soil and mulched.
