Bob's Heating & Air Conditioning

I bought a new to me house, and mistakenly believed the thermostat attached to the wall should control the heat. The tech pointed out that no, it was actually the portable thermostat that controlled the heat(the thermostat on the wall controls nothing). Since that took two seconds, he did a regular service for the heater, including showing me where the filter is(and that it was washable) and checked out that everything was working. Unfortunately, Bob's does not do flue replacement. (I later found out Emerald City Chimney does--in case you're needing that).

Bob's Heating & Air is a great company, which we have used for many years - even prior to the merger/buy-out/whatever. Similarly, we have been members of Angie's List for many years. I found this particular ordering process to be extremely frustrating. I made several phone calls to Bob's and got fantastic support. I couldn't phone Angie's List, but I'm guessing that's because I have the Green/free membership. A member service email basically said they couldn't find the answer to the cost of duct cleaning and furnace tune-up, and I should call or email Bob's. Bob's told me the Angie's List cost, but sent me back to struggle with the Angie's List to place the order. Ultimately, I made the order and then called Bob's for scheduling (this information was not on the purchase confirmation form). Frankly, I would have cancelled the Angie's List order, but it had already been made.

It went great. They are a little more pricey than the other companies. I knew that when I dealt with them. They have a great reputation. The guys that came out were very knowledgeable, very friendly. It really turned out well. I am willing to pay an extra $100 for them. I have actually dealt with them in the past. I knew they do an excellent job. They are real knowledgeable.

I was very pleased. Everyone we worked with was professional, helpful, and punctual. I feel like they went above and beyond my expectations and I recommend them to my friends and family.

A very short time after we purchased the deal, someone from Bob's called us to schedule the job. They scheduled us for the next available date and gave us a 4 hour window of time when the service person would arrive. The service person, Jairo, arrived within the time expected. He was very polite and professional, and he did a great job. And he was very patient and helpful with all my questions. I would recommend Bob's Heating and A/C and I would use them again.

The repair person found a loose connection which was quickly reconnected. He replaced the filter and checked over the entire system. It was money well spent!

Great! I have used Bob's for our heater, as well. They do a great job. Sometimes they get backed up, so I like to plan ahead for maintenance service. They are worth the wait if they are not available right away. I have never contacted them for an emergency, so I cannot say what their response time would be for that.

Fine. The technician showed up when advertised, did the work, and spent time to describe what he did and his assessment of the condition of the furnace. He was very friendly and patient with our questions.

Technician came out at the agreed upon time and checked the whole system. He tested that it is operating normally and stated that there is no sensor! He changed the air filter and cleaned the outside unit. He was quick, courteous and efficient.

They did a pretty good job. Their prices are a little higher than some of the others in the area, but I heard so many good things about them from everyone I knew. I didn't mind spending a little extra for that extra piece of mind.

It took them about two weeks to get to us. They did come on the day they said they would.

It went smoothly. Tyler was very quick to respond to questions and was very easy to work with. Job went well!

It turned out pretty well. That was last year, they came this year as well to do duct cleaning.

They always do a good job when they come out, but they are on the pricey side.

They did a good job. I liked the work. I guess their pricing was fair. I was pleased with their service; I have no complaints. I don't remember anything negative about that experience.

Highly recommend Bob's. From the time I scheduled the appointment all the way through the cleaning and inspection, everyone was professional and friendly. The technician was on time, knew his stuff and we couldn't be more pleased.

They did a good job on my furnace. It didn't take much to put in an thermostat. No cost for one, it was under warranty. Just the cost of the thermostat and installation charges. I have no idea on the cost. The price wasn't outrageous at all. It was competitive. No problems with it. They are very responsive. They are very professional. They are courteous. I gave them a phone call because my thermostat went out. They were going to send someone out, and they said to check the batteries. I didn't know the thing had batteries. I changed the batteries, and it started working again.

It was professionally. They told me what size I needed, and I have been replacing them ever since. The price I have no clue, it was under warranty. They are excellent. I haven't had any more problems with it at all. The gentlemen who was here was very professional.

Probably ok. There was a really loud rattle that occurred whenever the furnace started up. To replace the part ( a hinge or bracket of some kind), it cost an additional $75. The tuneup was $120 plus or minus, and they used my filter. Seemed like not a great value to be told the furnace was fine but old. Well, duh.

Really well. Unfortunately, the furnace installed when the home was built was slightly too small for the square footage and was already not heating the master bedroom well; it was also shorted 2 registers. We opted to go from a 3 ton to a 4 ton furnace with AC heat pump, add the two missing registers, and add outtakes upstairs (none were previously installed). The sales and work teams were fabulous, prompt and explained things well. We addressed issues as they came up and made some adjustments during the job that added an extra day to project completion but was well worth it. All in all, we wouldn't hesitate to use Bob's again. And of course our home and the master bedroom that was previously hot in summer and cold in winter is now perfect temp!

We spent a long time hunting for the perfect company to replace our tankless water heater and were so thankful to come across "Bob's Heating And Air Conditioning." Their salesman Randy came to our house quickly and gave us a very fair and affordable estimate. He was on time, courteous, professional and we felt safe and comfortable having him in our home and around our children. "Bob's" worked with us to arrange the install date at the perfect time, helped us co-ordinate the remaining balance due within my husband's pay-period and treated us like valuable customers the whole time. The install itself went well as planned and we are beyond thrilled to have hot water again. We love our water heater! It was a pleasure to do business with Randy and we look forward to using Bob's when it's time to replace our furnace.
