Perfect, excellent advise for what to do inthe future

I bought a coupon on Angie's List for them to perform a furnace tune-up. After using Angie's list to pick optional dates, all of the dates came and went with no notice from Bob's. So I called and asked them to schedule and let them know I had a coupon from Angie's List. A few days later a tech came out while my wife was home and in the process said we needed to replace the furnace and he wanted to red tag it. Upon inquiring why he said it was due to amount of CO in the flue exhaust (which all goes outside). I asked him if there was any CO going in the house (he checked and there was zero). I asked if there was any danger to running it and the answer was no. So I again asked why then if it's running and safe would we red tag it and replace it. He said he would check with his supervisor. I come home to find out that he left it running (obviously came to the conclusion that it's not a threat) and that he'd charged my wife's credit card when I'd already paid for the coupon. Later I called the office and let them know that I've double paid and that no explanation was ever provided for why the furnace was had a higher than recommended CO content in the flue exhaust. The lady I spoke with was nice and said accounting would credit the payment and the tech would call to explain. A week plus has passed and there's still no credit and the tech never called. So I've now paid about $350 for absolutely nothing but a hassle (coupon was about $150 and they charged the credit card for $190 something).

PERFECT- They are very professional and knowledgeable & we will definitely be using them in the future. Good company to hire if you need honest and knowledgeable with a fair price.

When we moved into our new house they were the one's that did the installation of the heating and air conditioning unit and maintenance for six years now. They're great, very professional, their uniforms are clean, polite, they wear the little booties on their shoes so they don't mess up your carpet.

Went great. It took most of the day but they did a good job and my renters now have heat and were only without for 1 night.

The field technician was extremely polite and professional. He was also very knowledgeable. He was able to talk to me about some things that I thought I needed to have done on my furnace.

Two people came out and it took an hour. They left the area clean. They tried to tell me that my motor was not going to last long.

My builder highly recommended BOB’s Heating & Air Conditioning as he has been working with them for years and we are SO glad we did follow his advice. We had different teams that came : vents, PVC, gas piping, furnace, water tank less heater etc., They were ALL VERY professional, friendly, doing a great and clean job. They also took the time to explain how everything was working. After moving in, we needed a final tune-up. Bob’s came immediately, even when payment was already done. I want to mention that point as, over the months, we saw some contractors that don’t care if things are not working or complete after payment. Today, we enjoy our heating system that is so efficient and silent. So YES, we highly recommend BOB’s for their professionalism and care for the customer.

Over the last twelve years of inspections, Bob's has been the best by far. Why do I like them? My service window was between 8-12p. They called at 7:30a to say they'd be there at 8a, and he was -- right on the dot. The technician was friendly and professional, and we've had a few that weren't. Some of the other companies we've used have just shined a flashlight, turned some screws, vaccumed and replaced our nice filters with bottom-of-the-line filters. Bob's service technician felt efficient, confident and thorough -- as if he really wanted to inspect our furnace (imagine that!) but was also done in about 30 minutes. Did I mention they put in a comparable filter to mine? Maybe even a little better. Instead of simply announcing he was finished (as in the past with other companies) he took the time to review my furnace's performance with me. I've never had that before and I learned a little from the tutorial. I normally have paid $30-40 less than Bob's for this service, and have overlooked them in the past thinking their price was a little high. Boy, I felt like I got my money's worth this time and will definitely hang onto his card for next year's service. Great job!

Gregg assured us that everything else with the furnace looked great and at only 8 years old, we should still have a lot of life left. He practically insisted we go with a replacement valve - the source of the gas leak - and suggested annual service at the same time to bring down the overall cost of the part (Bob's discounts the part if getting additional service at same time). So within an hour, Gregg had the new valve installed (which he luckily had with him), the loose wiring tightened, the burners cleaned, CO detection showing nil, a new filter installed and the gas pressure confirmed as the right amount. Was very satisfied with the experience.

Everything went as planned and nothing has gone wrong since.

Fine with one small exception of a visual filter monitor that did not reconnect properly. This was corrected the next day.
