Avidtek Residential Contracting

We were scheduled to start a kitchen and bathroom remodel project with Steven. In order to protect ourselves we wanted to have a lawyer review the contract; I prefer to have a lawyer look at high ticket contracts. Once Steven found out we were working with the lawyer he got offended and less responsive. This was because he was trying to sign someone else instead. Two weeks before starting, Steven pulled out of our project and went into contract with another client. While Steven is personable, writes detailed emails and might do great work, his business ethics and integrity leave a lot to be desired.

High quality work, as always. This is the 4th time we have hired Steven to do major work in our home over the past 12 years (kitchen, two bathrooms, and now the entire basement). We will call him for any future projects we need in the future because we trust him to do the best possible job within the limitations of our budget. He takes pride in the quality of his work, even the parts that no one will see -- the basement framing was beautiful! I feel very lucky to have found a contractor who is honest and fair and have been able to count on his work over the years.

Steven has remodeled my 3 bathrooms and they are the best part of my home. The service was well done even if the materials I chose were not that high end. The only difficult part was getting the contract signed, it took a while to have it all finalized.

Very good with the support of Steven. A couple of issues happened with wrong faucets and tile installation from another contractor that impacted the shower pan installation but Steven was sourced of solutions to fix these issues with his partners. He has a good team behind him to remodel a full bathroom and is flexible with the schedule.

I am actually considering using them in the bathroom. Steven is very reasonable and straightforward. He is using caution in bidding on the rot repairs, leaving plenty of buffer in there so as not to under estimate, which I appreciate. I'll update again if we do decide to go with Avidtek.
