A to Z Stump & Tree Inc

Great! The job took a little over an hour. The tree belonged to a neighbor but needed to be accessed from our property. We worked together with the neighbor to hire someone. The workers were very professional and did a great job with equipment they needed to take across our front yard.

The job went very well. They were very safety conscious and efficient. The job was done in less than 2 hours.

Each time, the work crew showed up on time, worked quickly, got the job done and left everything spotless behind them. The cost was fair each time, not the cheapest, but not unreasonably high, either.

Fast, professional work at a fair price. Would definitely use them again.

This company is great. The job was done quickly and they cleaned up after them selves. The owner stayed and supervised the entire operation. The job was done to our satisfaction and we don't have a lot of debris to clean up!

The process to get an estimate and ultimately contract with A to Z was very easy. The job went great! I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Filled out their on-line request form on 7/28/2016 and asked them to contact me directly about the work I needed done. As of this morning, 8/3/2016, I have not received a response back from them. Out of the companies I contacted for a quote, they are the only one that did not respond. Must not need the work I guess.

Work went well. They came out and quickly gave an estimate, and 2 days later came out to do the job. They did the work quickly but carefully, and left the place spotless. Super happy with the work and would definitely use them again if we have more issues.

Scott and his crew were efficient and polite. They arrived on time and performed the work quickly and to our satisfaction. Thuy (I'm not sure how to spell it) in their office kept in contact with us when we had questions and up until the crew arrived to perform the work. We were very pleased with A to Z.

Scott came and gave the estimate. He seemed very knowledgable and was easy going too. I explained what I wanted, and he had some suggestions. His estimate was lower than another bid and I liked his approach so we went with him. His crew worked hard and did a great job. I felt we got more than we paid for with their service and we will be calling them in the future for additional work. Highly recommend!

It went well. Todd and his crew came out in one day and finished all the work. We noticed our sprinkler system was not working and that water was leaking by the tree's roots. Turns out there was a PVC pipe directly in front of and below the stump/root and the grinders demolished it. Todd came out and fixed the problem. His customer service weas good

Scott came out promptly. Was knowledgeable and understood what I was asking for. Once I had accepted his offer (we did have other offers) he was there within a week to do the job. His team were efficient and cleaned up after themselves.

The estimate was given on Saturday and the work was done on Wed. The crew and Charlie, who had given me the estimate, arrived on site as planned. The work was completed in about 1 hour by multiple men. Charlie understood my comments as I wanted the tree cut down several feet but not so far as to open up the view to the neighbors. I also wanted the side to not be hanging into my neighbors yard and the front needed to be trimmed so it would not hang over the road.My comments were treated with respect. The road is narrow but the crew made it up the road with no problem. Clean up and chipping were completed and the yard is in fine shape.

Scott best understood our goals and gave the best advice out of the companies we contacted for quotes, plus they were available to schedule the work soon and were very responsive over email. That's why we chose them even though they weren't the cheapest. The work was done quickly with no mess or damage.

A large crew showed up with all the equipment needed to do the job, and right on time. We discussed what they needed to do, and they went to work, about 5-6 guys and the proper equipment to do the job. These guys were friendly, professional, and simply got the job done in a timely manner. The crew foreman kept me informed the whole time, making suggestions, and we went with them. They cleaned up. Amazing to watch these guys. I have to say, I have used tree services in the past, and they were okay, but not like this crew. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone no matter how simple or complex the project is.

Charlie's crew did the work as requested in a timely and professional manner. He made sure we were happy with the results of the job.

I called them and asked them to have someone come and estimate the work. Charlie (the owner) came out and told me what they would do and gave me an estimate. On the date when they were going to remove the pine trees and trim the existing pyramidalis trees, they came promptly and did a very professional and quality job removing the trees, grinding the stumps, and trimming the pyramidalis. A week later they came and planted the new pyramidalis trees. They thought 12 would be sufficient, but that didn't fill the area. They went and got 5 more at no extra charge to fill the area. I would definitely use their services again.

I contacted this company via their website's online form to request an estimate for some work I needed done around my yard. The website assured me that the fastest way to get a response would be to submit a form. I received a response right away that they would be in touch. After 5 days with no further communication, I called the office. They said they were very busy but I was the next request in line and they would be in touch soon. I received an email that day thanking me for calling me and assuring me they would be in touch as soon as they could. It has now been 11 days and I haven't heard a thing. This is a terrible way to treat potential customers. Clearly I will not be using their services

I requested quotes from 4 Tree Services in the coupon section of Angie's Book monthly edition and A to Z was the only 1 to reply, this was after a very bad windstorm a week before. The tree fell from City property and they refused to do anything about it. A to Z came out looked it over and gave me an estimate that was reasonable and did more than I requested like trimming the broken branches on my cherry tree that were damaged when the tree fell. They cleaned up the area and asked if I was happy. The worker said if your happy then I'm happy.

A to Z was one of 4 estimates we obtained to remove a large, dying pine tree from our back yard, and the first to respond. Another estimate was similar in their quote and responsiveness, but we ultimately went with A to Z because of the positive impression made by the person who came to do the estimate. This large tree was next to a neighbor?s fence and several other large trees, all of which I was worried about, not to mention that it wasn?t very far from the house. Because of some unexpected scheduling conflicts (ours), we weren't able to be home for our removal appointment. Rather than wait until they were in the area again, we went ahead with the date as scheduled. The job was done on time and met expectations ("all you?ll see is some sawdust and a stump")--no damage or mess anywhere. We also appreciated their follow-up information about what was killing our tree, which was evident once the tree was down. After the job, there was a mistake on the invoice, which was promptly corrected without any problem when I brought it to their attention. If we need any more work on our trees, we?ll call A to Z again.

It was a small job for them but they writhed me into the schedule within a couple of weeks. Jericho was nice and easy to deal with. They were efficient and professional. I would hire them again.

They did VERY WELL well on this difficult removal job which was critical for me to get done so my new septic system project could get started.

I contacted A to Z stump and tree via Angie's List on July 12th and requested an appointment for an estimate on tree service at my home. I received a confirmation email back that day from Charlie at A to Z, asking if it would be OK for them to come by while I was at work and look at the trees. I responded immediately (within 5 minutes) and let him know that would be fine. After a couple of days, I still had not heard back from him as to whether or not they had looked at the trees. I called A to Z on July 14th, and left a voicemail for Charlie asking whether they had looked at the trees, and what their estimate was. I waited another 3 days for a response, and got none. I emailed Charlie on July 17th, and asked what was going on. I got a response back that afternoon which stated: "We will contact you soon!". Another 3 days went by before I heard anything from them. On 7/20, I finally got call from another staff member, who said he was calling to follow up on my request for an estimate. He again asked if they could come by th house while I was at work during the day. I told him that I had already spoken with Charlie the week before, and had given permission for them to do that. I provided him with instructions on how to access the back yard through the side gate. He told me there was a possibility that he would be able to come the next day (7/21). I told him that was fine, but also let him know that I would be home during the day on 7/23 (today), and that they were welcome to come by then if they preferred; but that either option was totally fine with me. He told me that he was waiting to finalize his schedule for 7/21, and would call me back later that afternoon to confirm whether he would be coming on Tuesday or Thursday. I never got a call back (BIG SURPRISE). As of this morning, I have no idea whether they are coming or not, and frankly no longer care. I cannot speak to A to Z's skills and abilities with trees; however, their customer service and follow through are absolutely terrible. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone.

This company is very efficient and they did a wonderful job! The owner has been in contact with me making sure the service was how I expected it to be. I have already recommended them to a neighbor and I will continue to use them whenever needed.

They were really great to work with - answered all my questions and explained about how and why they were doing things. lots of knowledge about horticulture and City of Seattle requirements.
