Found leak and cause. Replaced gasket, but leak continued. Cause turned out to be failure of drying fan motor. Unfortunately the motor is no longer made. Dishwasher was old and needs replacement. Technician was very good. He came out twice and charged only a single discounted service charge.

We've called 10x Repair Services for a few different issues that we've had with appliances in the past. The two most recent involved parts that needed to be replaced in our washing machine and convection oven. We provided the make and model of the appliances as well as what we suspected was wrong with them and they were able to come, confirm or deny our suspicions, and replace the parts all in the same day!

He arrived on time, and did a good job leaving the place clean.

Outstanding customer service doesn't get any better than this! Our refrigerator was broken when we opened it in the morning. I called 10x before their opening hours and Boris answered his phone. Will you be home in the next hour? he asked, and he arrived within the hour. He was wearing a mask when he came to the door and took off his shoes before entering. He quickly got to work and discovered the problem. He had a replacement fan in his truck and quickly installed it. We had additional issues that would need be addressed later, but he patched those up as well as he could.

Boris from 10xRepairServices came on time and very quickly diagnosed the problem. He gave me the sound advice of actually not fixing it and instead buying a new one, since the repair cost is too high. And at the end, he did not charge me at all. I really appreciated the good service and advice.

Worked good while repairman still here but broke immediately after he left so I immediately phoned and he returned and refixed, showing me that one of the new parts (plastic made in China) had broken, and he replaced one of the old parts. Prior to again running dishwasher, the bottom of dishwasher filled with water which leaked to kitchen floor. I bailed out the water from the dishwasher, and under the sink turned off the water to the dishwasher. I am now washing dishes by hand and will get a new dishwasher when the COVID-19 turmoil is over.

If I could have left 10 STARS I would have! I called Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend with a failed refrigerator issue. He said he could be here within a two hour window starting at 2:30 the next day...SUNDAY! He said he would take a look at it for a total of $65 INCLUDING travel time! And if a repair was necessary, the $65 would be applied toward that. Was hard to believe...I was skeptical. I texted him that morning asking if he might be able to come a bit earlier and he said he could. He texted me when he was an hour away, then showed up at 1. Perfect! Within ten minutes he had it diagnosed along with his thought saying he wouldn't put that much into it, recommending replacing the unit. Important to know he does not sell appliances. He gave his recommendation as to brands. I paid him the $65 letting him know I was extremely impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, promptness and honesty. Been a very long time since I have worked with a contractor of this caliber. This morning, via email, I recieved a thank you for the opportunity to serve us as well as a paid receipt. His name, by the way, is Boris. I have never posted a review as positive as this. Obviously, I'd highly recommend Boris at 10x Repair services in San Carlos

It went very well. Andrew’s first visit was investigative and he competently assessed each problem, determining what parts needed to be ordered. During his second visit, he installed the parts quickly and efficiently. He was polite and respectful of our home. The fee was well worth it the service. Thank you Angie’s List for introducing us to 10XRepairServices. We would definitely use the them again and recommend them to others.

We were pleased with the prompt reply and completion of our oven repair. After being ignored for six weeks by the repair service recommended by the stove manufacturer, we looked at Angie’s List. We called 10X Repair Service and they immediately responded.

I was quoted a price so high I could not afford it. Turns out I found the exact part I needed for $30 less than where the part would have been acquired by the repair professional, found a very specifically instructional video on YouTube, and replaced the timer myself with no difficulty. I know that that the four separate quotes I received beforehand were perhaps small businesses needing to make some kind of profit, but telling me prices like $150 to $300 to replace a timer was mind boggling. Depending on the situation, sometimes a professional is not always required.

I have a frost-free Whirlpool refrigerator that had frost build-up. Boris tested the heating element and transfer cable which both were functional. The issue was a control board that failed. He ordered the part and returned two days later to install new parts. Boris was cordial and professional in his work. I offered to pay him for his first day of diagnosis but he told me he would collect after the job was completed. I will use him in the future for all appliance repairs. I very happy to have selected his services.

Great. Boris was responsive, punctual, and polite. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and recommended I check the warranty. When I did, I found I had days left on it and the job was covered. When I called him to inform him that the work had to go through the warranty and I couldn't use him, he only commented positively that it would save me money. I saw this as a true sign of honesty and integrity. Guess who I'm calling first next time? Boris!

We have hired several contractors through Angie's List over the years and generally been happy with the service, but working with Boris was far and away the best customer experience we've had with a contractor. He responded to our request for an on-line quote within 30 minutes, sent two appointment reminder texts prior to arriving, and went way out of his way to address a plumbing problem we had with our garbage disposal. We will absolutely call on him again for appliance repair issues.

Ice maker was no longer producing ice. Sent request for repair through Angie's List. 10XServiceRepair contacted me within 10 minutes on a Sunday. Arranged for an appointment the next day with 2-hour windows. Technician texted prior to arrival and was on-time. The tech diagnosed and resolved the issue and ice maker is fixed! I will definitely use again if needed.

Boris was quick to respond, and flexible on the timing. He quickly figured out what part was causing the problem, and was able to fix with no additional parts. After working for about an hour he charged only a total of $79. Great service amd great cost. Definitely a keeper.
