Pronto Plumbing Service

I called the owner in February and explained my future needs. He said his truck had everything for any job. I was very specific that I needed a complete re-plumbing of an existing home that was being remodeled with less than code standards for the plumbing. He was more concerned about the estimate fee to be paid than the job. As my needs got closer I explained again and called in May and made an appointment. He cancelled the day before with no explanation. All this operation wants to do is unclog toilets and drains, fix frozen pipes and replace valves. That is what I believe his service truck has for everything. If needed I will go to Hood River, The Dalles, Troutdale or even Portland

Pronto got there when they said they would. The shower and valve were exctly as ordered. They were quick and cleaned up after themselves.

Pronto used listening device to locate an underground water pipe leak which we suspected because of high water bills and collection of water on the surface. The location they indicated was about 6-7 feet away from the actual leaks (it turned out that there were 3 breaks in pipes over a span of 10-12 feet). Pronto arrived when they said they would, were friendly and business-like and did what they could to find the leaks. The fact that the location indicateed was not real close to the actual leaks meant that we had to do a lot of digging to find and repair the leaks (which we did ourselves because of the very high cost to have a professional do the work). The bottom line is that the technology available to find underground water leaks isn't very precise.

It all went well. They do great work and are very personable people. I was thoroughly pleased with the results.
